Dr. Vito L. Modugno is a Northern New Jersey native. Born and raised in Historic Paterson, New Jersey. Attended nationally recognized Don Bosco Preparatory High School in Ramsey, where he graduated with honors. Dr. Modugno received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Fairfield University in Connecticut and earned his Doctorate Degree in Dental Medicine at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he graduated in the top percentile of his class. Completed a four-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program at Georgetown University Hospital and Medical Center in Washington, D.C. and a one-year Post-Graduate Facial Reconstruction Fellowship at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut.
Dr. Modugno is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Modugno holds numerous licenses and certifications, as well as, awards for academic and surgical excellence. Dr. Modugno has published articles pertaining to his specialty and has taught multiple, accredited seminars on oral surgery, pathology, non-surgical cosmetic procedures and implant techniques.

My daughter was in severe pain with her wisdom tooth, after calling 7 oral surgeons and getting a consult days away and then having to schedule another day for the extraction seemed obnoxious. How can people be left in such pain!!! I called Dr. Modugno's office who brought my daughter in two hours later and did the extraction plus her two additional wisdom teeth within 5 minutes. Staff was compassionate and Dr was great. Thank you thank you for taking care of my daughter!!!

Literally the best oral Surgeon I've ever been to , Dr. Vito L Modugno is super gentle , patient, caring , fast and makes the process a breeze . He removed two of my wisdom teeth with no problem and I felt NO pain it's unbelievable

I LOVE THIS PLACE ITS NICE AND CLEAN EVERYONE IS SO NICE THE STAFF IS GREAT AND DR. MODUGNO IS THE BEST SURGEON I HAVE EVER HAD , HE'S SO GENTLE .

Doctor Modugno is the BEST oral surgeon around... I was there last week scared and nervous to have a molar extracted, the office staff put me at ease and the doctor numbed me up so good I did not feel a thing! It took him one minute to take my molar out. No tugging, pulling or crackling noise... I was shocked at how fast and how easy he got my tooth out. I highly recommend doctor Modugno... Hopefully I will never need another tooth extracted, but if I did, I would definitely go back to him without a doubt. I usually don't write reviews, but I had to for this doctor and his staff, they are excellent! You also get a free pen and a Chapstick!
