We are proud to be the longest continuously run group practice in the Roanoke Valley. Our general dentistry practice has been in Roanoke, Virginia for over 50 years. Over the years our practice has been passed down through family generations and continues to be a family business. We have a dedicated and caring staff that will make your visit an enjoyable experience.
Dr. Randolph Dickey was born and grew up in Roanoke. He attended Virginia Tech and graduated from VCU School of Dentistry. Dr. Dickey is an avid fisherman, cyclist and former tennis player. He loves to be on a trout stream or biking or hiking the Greenway or other local trails in his spare time.
Dr. Dickey and his wife, Eileen, have two grown children. Their oldest child, Claire, graduated from dental school in 2013 and returned to Roanoke to join our practice after completing a one year General Dentistry Residency in Birmingham, Alabama. Their son, Joseph and his wife reside in Nashville, TN.
Dr. Singleton completed his undergraduate studies at West Virginia Wesleyan College in 1978. He received his training and Doctorate in dentistry from West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 1982. For the next 6 years, Dr. Singleton served as a dentist in the US Air Force in North Carolina. He and his family moved to Roanoke in 1988 where he joined Dental Associates of Roanoke. Soon after joining the practice, he became a partner in the practice. He has now practiced dentistry in the Roanoke Valley for more than 25 years.
Dr. Singleton is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, the Piedmont Dental Society, the Roanoke Valley Dental Society and the Southwest Virginia Advanced Seminar (a Seattle Study Club member).
Dr. Singleton resides in Roanoke County with his wife Lois and their two Shetland sheep dogs. He as two sons, the oldest in a PhD program for Biomedical Engineering and the younger son is a Landscape Architect. Away from the office, he serves as an USAF Academy Admissions Liaison Officer (retired from the USAF after 20 years). In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and sons, continues to build a garden railroad (large scale model trains) in his back yard and is never without a camera due to his love of photography; his primary hobby/profession.
Dr. Sean Lynch grew up in Roanoke. He attended undergraduate school at Appalachian State University followed by Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. Dr. Lynch took over his fathers, Dr. Richard Lynch, portion of the practice in 2011. Dr. Lynch is an avid skier and mountain biker. He resides in Roanoke with his wife, Jennifer, and two young children, a son, Reade and daughter, Piper.
Dr. Claire Dickey Farr is the daughter of Dr. Randolph Dickey and the newest addition to the practice. She grew up in Roanoke, VA as well. Dr. Farr attended Virginia Tech for her undergraduate degree where she was also a member of their Division I Swimming and Diving program for which she served as team captain her senior year. Following Virginia Tech, Dr. Farr graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University Dental School and completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry in Birmingham, AL at UAB Hospital Dentistry.
