Dr. Jason Hsiao was born in St. Louis , Mo. He grew-up in Silicon Valley. He attended University of Pacific in Stockton California, where he completed a B.S degree in Biology. He then received his D.D.S degree from the University of the Pacific: Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, San Francisco in 2005.
He enjoys doing family and cosmetic dentistry, and has many years of experience working with CEREC CAD/CAM Technology. With dentistry changing everyday, Dr. Hsiao likes to attend the most up-to-date courses featuring newer technology.
When he has time-off, heenjoys spending time with his wife Stefanie, and his sons Preston and Carson. His hobbies include golfing, baseball, camping, fishing, archery, snowboarding, martial arts, and motorcycle racing.

Dr. Hsaio is a great dentist; knowledgeable, personable, compassionate and caring. Office staff are professional and nice. Office is equiped with high tech, up to date equipments and clean. I highly recommend Dr. Hsaio.

I am a 65 year old man that has been wearing dentures for 20 years I left Livermore for about 20 years and then when I moved back I needed work done on my dentures I first went to John Chan that cost me about $8,000 and I could not eat or talk with my dentures and I didn't know they did not guarantee their work at this place to make a long story short I lost all my confidence in dentists basically I thought they were all butchers but hey I need to eat so I went to valley family dentistry and I cannot believe how courteous extremely professional they are they save me a ton of money by repairing my old dentures that John Chan did to work on I will forever be grateful to valley family dentistry I can eat I can wear my dentures comfortably this is by far the best experiences I've ever had with the dentist in my life

The office staff were professional and caring throughout scheduling my appointment and during checkin upon arrival. The dental assistant was friendly and made me feel comfortable. The dentist was kind and thorough. Making sure I was understood what needed to be accomplished and why. A path forward was determined and he ensured I was comfortable with the plan. Overall, I would give them a A++.

My son referred me to Valley Family Dentistry as I wanted to find a good dentist in Livermore. I am being treated by Dr. Tsaur and I am very pleased with the thoroughness and professional treatment received. Dr. Tsaur was very patient in answering all my questions to my complete satisfaction. The staff was also excellent and the office was very clean and modern. I couldn't be more satisfied.

Dr Hsiao is the kindest, most gentle dentist I've had in over 50 years. I wish I had him when I was a kid. His staff is remarkable, always there to please. I would give him 6+ stars if I could!

Dr Hsiao is very kind, patient and gentle dentist. He really cares for his patients and the staff are awesome. I recommend him to anyone looking for a new dentist. We found him when our hygienist started working there. I couldn't be happier with this dental office.

Dr Hsiao is very kind, patient and gentle dentist. He really cares for his patients and the staff are awesome. I recommend him to anyone looking for a new dentist. We found him when our hygienist started working there. I couldn't be happier with this dental office.

Dr. Hsiao bought the practice from my previous dentist, Dr. Alvarez. After he left, I continued to have my cleanings done by Judy, who stayed on. Recently, I noticed some sensitivity with one of my teeth. I had Dr. Hsiao evaluate it. He noted some fracture lines (no surprise, I'm a life long grinder), but thought a filling might be sufficient to resolve the sensitivity. He discussed all possible outcomes before I scheduled. On the day of my filling, he again discussed the treatment before numbing my tooth. As another reviewer mentioned, he does use a shaking technique which distracts from the discomfort of the injection and makes it much more comfortable. As a former dental hygienist, I can appreciate how thorough he was with the explanation, preparation and filling of my tooth. He clearly has an eye for detail. He finished and polished the filling well. My bite is perfect and the tooth feels great. Highly recommend.

I give them 0 stars. They took all my daughters sealants off when she did NOT need them done, just so they could charge our insurance for more money. And then when she went back for a cleaning, they wanted to do some more sealant removal (which were again, not necessary) and claimed she had a cavity. I then took her to a different dentist for a second opinion, and found that she had NO CAVITIES, and that her teeth were fine. I do not recommend them at all.

Not a good dentist in my eyes. He took over Dr. Alvarez praxis and fired almost all of Dr. Alvarez staff and only hired his own. Besides that...his own mother Lily is writing 5 Star reviews here on Google for him :)

Dr. Hsiao is one of the best dentists I have ever had. He is thorough and explains everything to me. I have been seeing him since 2005. His same day dentistry has replaced all of my old cracked silver fillings. The new fillings even made my teeth stronger. He is gentle and I highly recommend him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hsiao's for a long time. I have seen three other dentists in the past but Dr. Hsiao is the best of the best. He always listens to what you have to say and he explains things really well. I always feel at ease with Dr. Hsiao. I highly recommend Dr. Hsiao to anyone who's looking for excellent dental work. Yes, his staff is extremely nice and professional.

I have been Dr. Hsiao's patient for about 5+ years and I must say that he is the best dentist I've ever seen and I've seen many. Dr. Hsiao is very thorough and very patient. I had my multiple crowns replaced by Dr. Hsiao within the last couple of years and he did a superb job on each one of them. I had zero problems. If you are searching for a super super dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Hsiao. His staff members are fantastic too.

Dr. Hsiao is the most gentle dentist I've ever had....with cleanings AND injections! He uses this "shaking" method when injecting so you don't feel a thing! It's amazing. The staff is super friendly too! I've recommended Dr. Hsiao to many family and friends, and they all love him. They were all amazed in how gentle he is.
