My children and I have had the good fortune of having e Dr. Landeros as our dentist for many years. We love our dental hygienist Linda and all her kind staff. Today was the first time my 7 yr old had work done besides the routine cleaning. We opted for local anesthesia rather than nitrous oxide for the treatment. My daughter was very anxious but Dr. Landeros explained with great detail exactly what tools she would be using with a step by step explanation of what to expect putting her at ease. I loved that she spoke to my daughter and validated her fears. Her patience throughout the treatment did not go unnoticed.

Appointment at 11. Escorted to back. Dental assistant shows lack of confidence. When asked what is cost, she could not tell me for new patient exam. Walked away to supposedly ask and get info by calling my dental insurance. That was already established. Dental assistant showed lack of confidence. Total failure of miscommunication from the front to the dental employees. As I patiently wait, I then return after sometime. As I am waiting in the front, I am assisted by another receptionist sitting in the middle. I state the conflict of interest. She points to her immediate right for assistance. As I speak to her, she get the bulk of the problem. Then after getting a new one ripped, she in turn points to a young lady to her right. Why would she allow to get a new one ripped if its not her department? That showed me Common sense is very uncommon in this day and age. When I was called over to finance, I am spoke to Patty again. I got a warm and fuzzy. She is the one person who showed me she is mature minded.Only because I need to get my dental addressed I would Not be here. The other places are expensive and have a front they need to maintain. Then again as a Retired Disabled Veteran its been over 20 years since I visited a civilian dental entity. Serious Retraining needs to be adhered to. From a employee training to basic knowledge to showing sound confidence
