Following her undergraduate studies at UCLA, Dr. Duong attended University of Michigan for her Doctor of Dental Surgery. She then completed a residency at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospital, focusing in surgery and prosthodontics. Dr. Duong consistently pursues continuing education to stay up-to-date with the latest technology and research, ensuring that her patients have the best that modern dentistry canoffer. She is an active member of California Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.

As part of your Zoom! Teeth whitening treatment at Valley Family Dental Group, Dr. Duong, will perform a deep cleaning to remove excess plaque and debris from your teeth. Then, your lips and gums are adequately covered to protect them from the teeth whitening solutions.
Once only your teeth are exposed, the Zoom teeth whitening gel is applied on their entire surface. Next, for three 15-minute sessions of light activation, the teeth are exposed to the Zoom Chairside Lamp.
After 45 minutes of the Zoom teeth whitening treatment, there will be a significant improvement in your teeth' color. In some cases, after the procedure, a dental gel is applied to the teeth to prevent sensitivity.

They went above and beyond helping through and accommodating an issue with medi-cal. They were kind, gentle, felt authentic and I didn't feel pressured or like I was being scammed with unnecessary recommendations and work. The office was clean and comfortable.

My experience at this dentist was honestly the best I've had so far . I had an appointment for a cleaning and fillings for cavities and they had given me 3 shots for numbing which was kind of nerve wrecking for me since my anxiety can get pretty bad but they made me feel so comfortable honestly the most patient doctors I've met . Prices are reasonable if you don't have insurance and I will definitely be coming back. I definitely recommend this dentist to anyone ! Also very clean and professional!

Absolutely amazing service! Came in with awful tooth pain and Joanna was so quick to help me and get me settled in for X-rays. I hate going to the dentist and she somehow managed to take all the anxiety away. Gave me insight on what she thought was wrong then set me up right away to come in and see the Doctor that same week so I could get a full check up. So glad I found this place!

They have performed deep cleanings, irrigation cleanings, cavity removal, and a crown procedure on me. I am grateful for all of you, thank you. This was my first visit to this location, let alone a dentist in years. From start to finish the entire staff was professional, well mannered, and covid friendly. I felt very safe and they answered all the questions I had. Dr. Chen has an amazing touch. She makes you feel comfortable and talks to you the entire time explaining what she's doing. Amazing bed-side manner and an extremely talented dentist. I look forward to going back and only allowing her to work her magic. Thank you Dr. Chen and staff for doing what you do!

If you'd need to get a tooth pulled or any form of dental work, please stop by here. I say this, because I was a lucky person that did. I literally just got my upper left wisdom tooth pulled and got a lower filling. Let's start from the beginning.... The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and hello. All of the staff was working efficiently, safely, and following all of the covid-19 guidelines. I got checked in with no problems and barley waited to be seen by my dentist. The dental hygienist and the dentist were truly delightful. Their honesty, caring touch, and pleasant conversation got me through it all. The dentist, I believe her name was Dr. Chin (if I got it wrong I'm sorry) really made my day. The hands of a master! This dental center is very fortunate to have her employed. I looking forward to going again and getting more work done from her. Thank you to you all. Thanks for your hard, efficient, and caring work. Thanks for working during a pandemic and helping me with all of my dental issues. I can't wait to go back to see all those friendly smiles.

Vanessa in the front was amazing this place is really professional and kid friendly they were patient with my son and attended him and myself with proper care very informative ,they had lots of patience and believe me when I say I ask alot of questions they were not annoyed and took the time to make sure all my questions were answered. and just a great positive energy all around. If they can make my little one like going to the dentist it's 5 stars for me!

The doctor at valley family dental group dr Ray is really nice and environment and interior of the place is extremely clean and modern it doesn't smell like a dentist like some other places do. This team is seriously amazing! The front staff is so helpful and kind and they do a great job of breaking down the work you're getting so you know exactly what you're paying for. The dental assistants are so friendly and really try to make you feel comfortable, especially with a bit of anxiety. The hygienists are patient and thorough and really try to keep you comfortable. The dentist is so great and truly listens to you and suggests what would be best for you. I have recently moved and needed to find a new dental office and I'm so glad I found this one.
