Dr. Jennifer Castro earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine with honors. She went on to successfully complete her General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center and later completed her advanced education specialty training in Endodontics at New York University College of Dentistry. Throughout her career, Dr. Castro has had an affinity for teaching and community involvement. She taught Endodontics at NYU and helped launch outreach programs to underprivileged communities at Columbia University.
She has been a board member of Columbia University College of Dental Medicines Executive Alumni Committee and is head of the Mentor Program. She is a member of the American Association of Endodontics, the New York State Dental Association and the American Dental Association. Dr. Castro is committed to delivering the highest quality care with that extra gentle touch. She adopts the latest technology in her diagnosis and treatment, practicing endodontics at the highest standard.
Dr. Kohly earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry. Committed to education, she taught undergraduate Endodontics to the dental students and continues to have close ties to endodontic residents. She has a passion for helping the underserved community and has provided dental care for the underprivileged in Maine, Jamaica, Nicaragua, and Mexico.
Dr. Kohly is a member of the American Association of Endodontics, the New York State Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. She attends study clubs and national scientific meetings to remain active in her field and stay current on the latest research, techniques, and technology. She is committed to providing ethical, expert care with an experience that is both personalized and comfortable.
Dr. Navid Vosoughi grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He attended the University of Pittsburgh where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and a Minor in Chemistry. He went on to obtain a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated with honors.
Following dental school, Dr. Vosoughi completed a General Practice Residency at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center. He successfully practiced as a restorative dentist in both private practice and the VA hospital. It was during this time that Dr. Vosoughi discovered his passion for endodontics. He then went on to complete an additional Advanced Specialty Education Training in Endodontics at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. Immediately following his specialty training, Dr. Vosoughi entered private practice. He is committed to providing the highest quality patient care.

If unfortunately, you have a tooth that needs a root canal, you will need to find a skillful endodontist to save your tooth. My referral to Valley Endodontics by my regular dentist was an excellent choice. I didn't delay after I was referred - because delays can complicate outcomes. Dr Kholy is is very skillful-- I knew she wasn't working in an easy area of the mouth...The office is excellent in every way as well. Because of her treatment I have saved good ol'#2 for future years.

Dr Kholy's practice is pristine. Every aspect of the experience was superbly managed. The office is beautifully kept, clean as a whistle, and the staff operate together as a well-tuned machine. Dr Kholy is both caring and brilliant. This was not my first root canal, but I came away understanding more about the process than anyone had ever explained. Without question, the best endodontist I have ever seen.

Dr Kholy's practice is pristine. Every aspect of the experience was superbly managed. The office is beautifully kept, clean as a whistle, and the staff operate together as a well-tuned machine. Dr Kholy is both caring and brilliant. This was not my first root canal, but I came away understanding more about the process than anyone had ever explained. I was concerned about feeling pain and she reassured me that it wouldn't be painful and to let her know if I did feel pain. Its been several hours since the procedure and I'm still pain free. Went in for consult on tooth pain and wound up needing a root canal, for which Dr. Kohly was amazing. I have always had trouble getting completely numb, and my last root canal years ago was a very painful memory. When I told her that, Dr. Kohly reassured me in the face of my skepticism that she would ensure I didn't feel any pain. To my complete amazement, she was true to her word and I did not feel even a bit of pain during the entire procedure. She furthermore was very responsive when I had further issues with an infection in the bone under the tooth and prescribed antibiotics which cleared everything up, responding to my concerns even on the weekend. Dr. Kohly is personable, caring, and clearly a very skilled endodontist using modern equipment. I don't recommend needing an endodontist, but if you do need one, I wholeheartedly recommend you come here. Thank you, Dr. Kohly!

On 12/27/2018 I had a " retreat" root canal performed by Dr.Jen. She was absolutely awesome, she explained everything , it was absolutely painless. I highly recommend her to everyone that needs an Endodontics specialist , the office staff and techs were fabulous . All the best to them

I saw Dr. Castro this past Friday, in regards to two teeth that I believed needed root canals. Dr. Castro was on time, the office was beautiful and clean, and the front desk staff was friendly. Dr. Castro came in and soothed my fears. I had a few awful experiences when I was younger and tears started to flow. Dr. Castro, was SO kind, informative, & understanding. In addition, she referred me out to an amazing oral surgeon to extract the teeth. If I ever need any endodontic treatment- she is my 1st call. If I could give her more than 5 stars, I would. Absolutely amazing.
