Dr. Miller is passionate about being able to offer the highest quality dentistry available. Each year, he attends extensive postdoctoral studies in clinical and cosmetic dentistry, enabling him to provide the latest advances in dental technology. He has advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, sleep apnea, CEREC OR Single-Visit Ceramic Restorations, Invisalign, and postdoctoral cosmetic porcelain veneer training.

Dr. Millers practice takes advantage of all progressive techniques and materials, supported by research, to find solutions to help each patient make informed choices about their dental health. Dr. Miller received his doctorate from the prestigious Oregon Health and Science University and is a published research author in dental implants.

Dr. Miller is a director on the Board of Directors for Moda, Inc. which provides him the opportunity to help communities gain greater access to high quality health care. He the past President of Clackamas County Dental Society and maintains active roles in several professional organizations including Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association. He is an active member working towards accreditation in Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, an honor held by less than 650 dentists worldwide.

Dr. Robert Stafford is one of 5 dentists in Oregon who has earned the prestigious accreditation through the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. This honor is held by less than 650 other dentists world-wide and requires highly skilled and technique savvy experience while passing many rigorous cases through a peer review process. Helping people receive not only the look they want, but also the functionality and durability of beautiful and life-changing smiles is a passion that Dr. Stafford brings to those in Portland and the Happy Valley area. However, people have sought his services as far away as Alaska, Montana and Arizona.

Dr. Stafford earned his doctorate of dental surgery from the esteemed Loma Linda University while also receiving a Masters of Public Health degree. He moved to the Portland area soon after graduating in 1974 and has been dedicated to quality artistic cosmetic dentistry as well as restorative and general dentistry.

As a life-long learner, Dr. Stafford is committed to staying current with the advances in dental technology and revels in the opportunity for continued education. He participates in advanced training classes as well as local study groups. He takes great pride in understanding his individual patients hopes, dreams and goals. He is passionate about sharing his artistic and technical skills with those who value the absolute best dentistry available.

Dr. Sareena Gillani received her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology and Anthropology from Emory University in her home state of Georgia. During her undergraduate career, Dr. Gillani was granted the Adopt-a-Scholar Scholarship, Hope Scholarship, and was published in the Cancer Research Journal for research conducted at Vanderbilt University. She then accomplished her dream of becoming a Dentist by earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. During her time in dental school, Dr. Gillani earned the Tufts Merit Scholarship and was inducted into the Honos Civicus Society.

Following dental school, to further excel in the field of General Dentistry, Dr. Gillani completed an Advanced General Practice Residency training program at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons affiliated hospital, Harlem Hospital Center, in New York City. There she received advanced training in restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and periodontics. Prior to moving to the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Gillani practiced Dentistry in Texas.

Dr. Gillani enjoys the versatility of General Dentistry and is an active participant in multiple continuing education classes throughout the year. Dr. Gillani is dedicated to providing comprehensive and quality dental care and strives to eliminate the stigma and fear of dentistry by inviting new patients for a comfortable experience. Dr. Gillani is committed to ease her patients dental experience and will focus on personalized dental care for each individual patient.

Deon brings 20 years experience to our team. She began working as a dental assistant in high school. She went on to graduate from Oregon Health Sciences University with a bachelors degree in dental hygiene. Deon is a registered dental hygienist and enjoys getting to know her patients and helping them identify those dental procedures that will meet their goals and fit within their budget. Goal setting with her patients can range from simple routine cleanings and maintaining good oral health to discussing full mouth reconstruction As well as clinical work, she enjoys the behind the scenes operations of the dental office and assists in the logistics of daily operations.

Sarah brings 15 years of dental experience to the team. Sarah is a registered dental hygienist and a graduate of Mt. Hood Community College. Sarah is enthusiastic about helping her patients obtain optimum health. Sarah enjoys developing a relationship with her patients and giving them one on one care.

Courtney brings years of experience to the team. She started working as a dental assistant after high school. She then went on to study dental hygiene and graduated from Mt. Hood Community College. Courtney enjoys getting to know her patients and spending the time to best meet their needs. She is committed to her patients and providing quality care to help develop a healthier smile. She is known to be thorough and gentle. When shes not in the office, you can find her with her husband, baby son, Cohen, and their Australian Shepherd, Charlie.

Nicole has a bachelors degree in dental hygiene from Oregon Health Sciences University. Nicole really enjoys the relationships she is able to develop with each patient. She believes that building trust is a key factor while providing gentle, thorough care to each patient. With advanced care, Nicole strives to help her patients achieve their oral health goals in a comfortable and positive environment.

Casey has 17 years of dental assisting experience and has Expanded Functions Certificate. Caseys experience goes beyond her excellent chair side skill and ability to assist patients. She is incredibly knowledgeable about treatment options and enjoys working one on one with her patients to help create beautiful, lasting smiles. Caseys patients love how professional, kind, and honest she is.

Sophie has an Expanded Functions Dental Assisting Certificate and loves helping the doctors create beautiful smiles. From full mouth veneer cases to simply replacing silver fillings with tooth colored ones. She says helping patients improve their smiles is very rewarding and the favorite part of her job. As a Pacific Northwest native, Sophie loves the outdoors, especially backpacking and snowboarding. She enjoys family getaways with her with her husband and five children.

Alyssa is a true Oregonian, born and raised in Grants Pass and a Portland resident for the past 11 years. Alyssa has been working as an assistant for 8 year and is a new addition to our Valley Dental Works team.

She recently graduated from PSU with a bachelors degree in science, and a minor in biology and sociology. Alyssa is currently awaiting a position at OHSUs school of dentistry program to become a dentist herself. After graduating she intends to continue serving patients of the pacific northwest and practice in portland!
