Best dentist in SE Michigan! Great conversations, great care and customer service. Dr. Valentine is a UM Dental School Alumni (the dental program is ranked #1 in the US) and does a fantastic job with dental care. This location is within walking distance from UM's campus and wait time is minimal (even for new patients). They even gave me some free toothpaste to try for teeth whitening when I asked. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone at UM or in the Ann Arbor area!

Dr Valentine is the best dentist I've been to. Not only is he extremely gentle and kind, but he walks you through what he's doing at every step. He's judgement free and is quick to praise good habits that show on your teeth. My first visit I expressed how anxious I was, and he reassured me the entire time that everything was going well and checked in on me at different points. He even explained the current condition of my teeth one by one. At visit #2 I felt 10x more relaxed and comfortable, and it was a great experience. It might be due to my early morning appointments, but the office is also extremely peaceful and easy-going; so far I've been the only one there. All of the staff I've met have been helpful and caring. I really can't say enough positive things.

Dr. Valentine and his team went out of their way with my 87 year old Dad when he had a dental emergency on a weekend. They quickly, and efficiently assessed him and removed the problem. Their communication during this process with myself and my Mom was excellent. We knew what would be done and how to care for him when we returned home. Follow-up care shows what a companionate dentist Dr. Valentine truly is!

Three years ago my dentist of 25 years retired and a friend recommended Dr. Valentine. Dr Valentine is an awesome dentist. He's thorough and a perfectionist - exactly what you want in a dentist. Just this weekend I had an emergency (a 25 yo crown fell off) and both he and Cindy came in during off hours and fixed me up. (Thank you!) They treat you like family here. I recommend Dr Valentine to everyone.

After years of bouncing around dental offices and struggling to find a consistent dentist, a close friend personally recommended Dr. Valentine. After seeing him for an emergency filling and then a follow up review, I can confidently say Dr. Valentine is the best dentist I have seen in Ann Arbor! He is friendly, attentive, and extremely careful with his work. What is usually a difficult experience feels much more manageable now, and I am continuing to build positive energy towards dental care and dentists! For real though, you won't regret coming here Dr. Valentine is a real one.

I don't participate in reviews, only once before I reviewed a local restaurant on my father's day great dinner experience. I probably will never take my time to give a negative review of a business, I would choose to pray for them instead. In the case of Valentine Dental, I am so confident in Dr. Anthony's ability to more than meet your needs, I am compelled to give the highest possible satisfaction/recommendation. I'm 73 yrs old and probably should be given an honorary doctorate degree in life experience, for being a dental patient. For the best routine care or crown creation and some perfect cosmetic expertise, Valentine Dental has consistently impressed me, with having and performing a perfectionist gift. Personally, I have always appreciated their "least invasive" approach to retaining my natural teeth, as much as is practical. Thanks much Valentine Dental Bernard

Best dentist in town! Not only will you receive quality dental care, but Dr. Valentine and his staff make you feel like family! They have always been very accommodating for last minute appointments and Dr. Valentine takes his time while caring for me. His office is beautiful with high tech equipment and always very clean! I could not recommend Valentine Dental Care enough!

Dr. Valentine is great with children! He has been seeing my 3 year old since he got his first teeth in. My son enjoys going to the dentist and Dr. Valentine makes it a positive experience. He spends a lot of time with his patients, he takes his time and he is very thoughtful in answering any questions I have.

I highly recommend Dr. Valentine. I feel like I have finally found my dental care home- which I have not had in a very long time. He is very professional, knowledgeable and caring. The care he has given me has surpassed all my expectations. The quality is superior. No shortcuts. His high tech office is always clean and inviting. Sanitation practices are superb. I arrived in the United States in May, 2018, and went to see Dr. Valentine in April 2019 for a routine checkup. He found 4 cavities IIRC, one of which required a crown because the cavity was located under the gum line, he told me. He showed me a dark spot on the X-Ray and told me that that was the cavity. He also said many of my fillings needed repair (maybe 6?). He wanted to start working straight away but I was surprised at the number of things he though should be done so I said I would ask for a second opinion. I found it all the more surprising that I went to see my french dentist right before I came to the US (so in May, 2018, one year before), and normally I don't have so many new cavities after a year. I was especially worried about the crown, this in not something I take lightly. A colleague warmly recommended her childhood doctor, there was some delay before getting an appointment but I waited anyway to get his opinion. His opinion was that I didn't have any cavities, nothing he thought needed work. The dark spot on the X-Ray was just the shape of the tooth, not a cavity at all. I came back to France a few months later, and my french dentist told me exactly the same: I didn't have any cavities, and nothing else (than cavities) needed work. It's been a while but I thought this should be written somewhere.

Dr. Valentine and Cindy provide the highest quality dental care I have ever received, and they also genuinely care for you as a person. While I have lived in Colorado for the past few years, I have timed my visits home to Ann Arbor in part by going to see Dr. Valentine for my every 6-month dental appointment. Dr. Valentine and Cindy treat you like you are a part of their family-- they are simply the best and ensure genuine, beautiful smiles! I highly recommend Valentine Dental Care to everyone!
