Dr. Richard Henry is the owner and operator of Val Verde Family Dentistry in Altus, OK. Dr. Henry earned a bachelor's degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry.
He is a member of the Southwest Oklahoma Dental Association, the Oklahoma Dental Association, the American Dental Association and the American Orthodontic Society. He currently serves on the Oklahoma Dental Association Council on Governmental Affairs as well as serving as the Vice Chairman and Commissioner on the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreational Department,the Altus Chamber of Commerce and the Altus Military Affairs Committee.

I'm very pleased with Val Verde Family Dentistry. I've been to many SW OK dental clinics since moving to SW OK in the early 1980s and Val Verde has by far been the best. The atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. The diagnostics are accurate. The treatment plans are comprehensive and effective. I trust them with the health of my mouth and teeth. I've finally found a dental home at Val Verde and I'm grateful.

Amazingly friendly and warm front desk staff, and such great care! I had a veneer pop off and was in a ton of pain. This group got me in same day as a new patient and immediately found a solution that not only stopped the pain but gave me a better looking tooth than I had before. I went in feeling very distressed and left feeling extremely relieved and confident. I couldn't recommend this dentistry enough. Thank you, Val Verde.

Val Verde is amazing!! Being a new military family transplanted in Altus is hard,but add in that our daughter chipped her tooth over the weekend; that made our anxiety levels go up. Step in Val Verde dentistry. Due to the awesome service/diligence of Molly we were able to sneak into a canceled appointment same day. Dr Henry did an amazing job explaining and fixing the chipped tooth as if nothing had ever happened. Thanks to you all our little lady has a big smile again. Thank you all so much!!

As a direct result of the unsatisfactory services I received from Dr. Henry, I refused Dr. Henry's offer to 'fix' the problem and paid another orthodontist to solve the problem. I filed a complaint with the Oklahoma State Board of Dentistry, which is being investigated.
