Dr. Vahid Babaeian, or Dr. B as he is known by his patients, completed his undergraduate studies and dental degree at UCLA. He further did a three-year residency in orthodontics at the University of Pittsburgh. He is also board certified in orthodontics (ABO diplomate).
He began practicing orthodontics in 1997 and started his practice in Downey in 1999. Since then he has been very active with different organizations, Downey Rotary Club, Downey Chamber of Commerce and acting as president for the Downey Dental Academy.
Dr. B loves practicing orthodontics and creating beautiful smiles. He is a Platinum Invisalign provider and stays abreast of the latest technology and treatment modalities by attending seminars throughout the year. His practice also works with Kaiser maxillofacial department in Anaheim for treatments needing orthognathic surgeries.
He met and married his lovely wife in dental school at UCLA and they have been married for 25 years. Together they have two beautiful children, a son and a daughter. The family also has a Maltipoo dog named Coco.
His hobbies are traveling, watching and playing sports, namely tennis, swimming, and basketball. But his biggest satisfaction is to spend as much time with his family. He lives with his family in Irvine.
We are especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is warm and caring, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient.
Our treatment team consists of registered dental assistants certified in CPR, X-rays and Invisalign, and our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.

At the start of your treatment, we will help you set up an account within the Dental Monitoring app on your phone. You will receive your own cheek retractors and we will guide you through the process of taking a photo or video scan.For Invisalign treatment, you will send a quick scan to our office every week. Based on the result of the scan, we can let you know if you should move on to your next set of aligners or continue with your current set. You can also send us a scan if you have a question or an issue with your treatment.

Dr. B is an amazing orthodontist! He's honest, answers all questions and he's a perfectionist forsure lol. He's the type to not rush with his patients. I just started braces treatment in September and I had braces prior(15 years ago) and wow I see a difference already in my teeth and my bite feels better so far. All the staff here are super friendly and welcoming

Out of all the orthodontist in Downey, this place gave me the best price for my son's Invisalign! Dr. Babaeian and the entire staff are super friendly and welcoming:) During my son's 2 year Invisalign treatment, we have never encountered a long wait, which was a bonus for me!

Dr Babaedian and his staff are extremely professional and friendly! Thanks to him, I have the smile I've always wanted. The office is very clean and nice. They always took time to answer any questions I had and were very clear with any directions. I would definitely recommend him to family and friends!

My experience at Brace Connection had been wonderful. I have been to a total of 4 orthodontists ever since I was a kid. Dr. Babaeian is by far the best one out of all of these. He is completely involved in every part of the process and is very attentive. He remembers all of his patients and always asks how your day is going. His staff is amazing. The girls in the front always greet you with a smile and your name. The orthodontic assistants are very friendly. Two years coming to this office for Invisalign I have had the pleasure to have all of them assist me. What I like most about this office is that they are all a family. It is obvious that they love what they do and have fun, which is reflected in their patient care. This office regularly has active patient participation. Whether that be a contest or a reward system, you can tell that patients love coming here. More importantly my smile, I couldn't be happier with it. Dr. Babaeian is a perfectionist (in a good way). After my estimated treatment was complete he was not 100% happy and we want back and did a refinement. He does an amazing job at making sure you are happy and that is awesome. I am now in my detainment stage and am looking forward to having a smile I am comfortable with. All thanks to Dr. B. and his staff.

What can I say? This is the place to go for great results. Dr Babaeian took care of all my concerns and gave me the smile I've always wanted. I thought my teeth looked pretty good but now they look even better. I decided to go with ceramic braces (clear) because they move teeth faster and more efficiently than clear aligners (Invisalign). I had a big wedding day coming up and I needed results fast. No one even noticed I was in braces till I showed them. As an adult that's huge! Staff is super friendly and Dr Babaeian is great and easy to work with. He answered all my questions and concerns throughout treatment and delivered my smile just in time for my wedding day. He's an orthodontist so he is trained to move teeth correctly and he is board certified (unlike general dentists...there is a huge difference). If you want great results go with Dr B. He also put me on an easy payment plan that worked for my budget. Thanks Dr Babaeian!
