Dr. Nikko Johnson received her Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Central Oklahoma, where she also received National Deans List honors each semester, graduating cum laude. Dr. Johnson obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Oklahoma University College of Dentistry in 2005.

After graduation, she participated in a graduate program residency in general dentistry at the Oklahoma University Childrens Physicians Medical Center and Oklahoma City Veterans Affairs Medical Center for additional education and skill training. Her hospital residency programs gave her operating room experience as well as with emergency calls for surrounding hospitals, where she took trauma calls for oral surgery. Dr. Johnson practiced as a general dentist in Oklahoma and North Carolina before determining her return to education, obtaining her Master of Science in periodontology in 2010 from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. Her Master of Science in periodontology gave her competency in prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal diseases and treatment modalities with advanced oral plastic surgical procedures.

Dr. Johnson takes great passion and pride in her concern and delicate treatment for each individual. She is dedicated to providing her patients with absolute respect and care. When not working in dentistry, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with her husband and their puppy, traveling and going on hikes around California.

Dr. Bayette came to the United States when he was 15 years old and overcame many barriers to carve out an academic career for himself, completing dental school at the Medical College of Virginia Dental School and also a three-year residency at the Veterans Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Vaheed Bayette has now been practicing dentistry for over 25 years. He is a member of the California Dental Association, the American Dental Association and the local dental chapter in San Diego. He is board certified by the American Board of General Dentistry.

Dr. Bayette demonstrates a commitment to providing the best possible care through his dedication to continuing education each year. Oral health has always been of great interest to him, and being able to work with his hands has given him a great level of satisfaction with the treatment he provides. Combining these desires together has led him to excel in the field of dentistry. He also deeply enjoys the technical aspect of dentistry and the challenge of producing a high-end product for his patients.

He is delighted for the opportunity to get to know each of his patients, and he is interested in learning their views and opinions on topics outside of dentistry. Dr. Bayettes office has patients from so many different walks of life that it is nearly impossible not to learn something new and fascinating from them each day. He was inspired to become a dentist because of his passion for helping people, and he values the chance to build lifelong relationships with his patients.

Dr. Bayettes commitment to fostering close partnerships with his patients is accomplished by creating a balance between communication and trust. His practice sets itself apart from others by the fact that his team genuinely cares about each and every patient. Although dental care is limited to the patients oral health, he considers and treats all aspects of his patients needs and desires during every single visit and with each procedure.

Dr. Bayette currently resides in San Diego, where he enjoys the atmosphere of the city, the weather and the people. When Dr. Bayette is not with patients, he enjoys spending time with his family, riding motorcycles, and hanging out with his two dogs, Bella and Barkley.

Diane was born in Port Hueneme, California, and was raised in Guam and San Diego. She began her dental career as a receptionist in 1993, moving up into management in 2002. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience as well as extraordinary patient service to the practice. She is very detail oriented and can help you with any insurance coverage questions you may have. She enjoys spending time with her large family, cooking for family events and making people laugh.

Janet was born and raised in San Diego. She began dental assisting in 1973, becoming an RDA in 1978. She has a deep caring and respect for people, always striving to alleviate their fears and concerns. She is highly trained and knowledgeable in every aspect of dental assisting. She has an exceptional work ethic that contributes highly to the cohesiveness of the practice. She enjoys every aspect of nature and loves humor and laughter.

Pam grew up in northern California. The daughter of an orthodontist herself, she became very comfortable early on in dental settings, working as a teen in her fathers dental lab then moving on to work as a dental assistant in later years.

Pam and her husband moved to San Diego, where they have raised their five children. She graduated from the Southwestern College Program in dental hygiene and has been working for Dr. Bayette since 2009. Pams love for the dental profession and enjoyment of people is evident in the personal care she provides her patients. As a preventive oral health professional, she promotes and assists each patient in maintaining their oral wellness in a caring and compassionate manner.

Olga was born and raised here in San Diego. With several family members being dentists, she became very comfortable in dental offices from a young age, which sparked her interest in the dental field. She received her dental hygiene degree from New Mexico State University in 2013.

Olga has lived in several states but eventually came back home to San Diego and started working for Dr. Bayette in June 2021. Olga strives to give the most compassionate and efficient services for her patients while providing exceptional care. Her goal is to have each of her patients leave with an understanding of how to achieve the best oral health they can, at home. She really enjoys getting to know her patients and building a trusting relationship with them.
