Dr. Laura Vaccariello (Dr. Vac) was born and grew up in the Charlotte area. After high school, she attended Boston College for her undergraduate training. She then taught high school Biology in Chicago before returning to Boston to complete her dental degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After dental school, she completed a General Practice Residency at Harvard's Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Vaccariello then moved to the Midwest for her Orthodontic residency and Masters degree at Marquette University School of Dental Medicine in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. For her masters research, she studied the effects of visible and invisible orthodontic appliances on how adults are perceived in the workplace.
Dr. Vaccariello is thrilled to be home with her family and friends in the Carolinas. She and her husband, Matt, live in Fort Mill. They love being a part of the community that they serve. They have a son, Will, and they welcomed their daughter, Remi, this summer. Dr. Vac loves spending time with her family, going on adventures outdoors, trying new and adventurous recipes, traveling, and cheering for the Panthers.
Dr. Vaccariello is a member of the American Board of Orthodontics, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontics, the South Carolina Association of Orthodontists, and the American Dental Association. She is the only practicing board-certified orthodontist in Fort Mill. She is also an authorized provider in both Invisalign and Clear Correct. She loves attending continuing education course and is committed to always being up-to-date on the most current orthodontic techniques and research.

Dr Vaccariello is the best! Having THREE kids in braces at the same time means we have spent a lot of time at the orthodontist! We shopped around and Dr. Vac was the best fit for us. The York location is so convenient and the results from Dr Vac are amazing! All the staff is so friendly and the atmosphere is inviting. They really takes the time to explain everything to parents AND the kids. The cost quoted covers everything from start to finish, so there are no surprises. We are so thankful for Dr. Vac!

Dr Vaccariello and her team ; from the very first appointment made my kids and I feel very welcome! From being accommodating with their appointments, to friendliness of everyone there, it's like extension of family. Dr Vaccariello fees? We are your regular blue collar family, and she was open to a payment plan that worked for our family. I cannot express enough how grateful we are. My daughter proudly smiles because of this group!! She always made me feel inclusive by asking, do you like how your teeth are looking?! Also, the wonderful team from the front desk to the assistants. An absolute pleasure. Dr. Vac and her staff are fabulous ! I have had total TMJ replacement. Over the last few years my teeth started to shift quite a bit. I didn't want to lose any of my teeth or cause further challenges with my artificial joints. The dentist recommended Dr. Vac. who made me feel at ease when we met. She came up with a conservative plan to get my teeth back in place. One year later, my teeth are back in place and I have a beautiful straight smile as an added bonus. I can't say enough kind things about Dr. Vac and her staff! Nicci, Carla, always greeting you with a smile and Greer and Shelly took extra care each time they worked on my braces !! Thank you for all you've done.

We had a great experience with Dr. Vacceriello and her friendly staff. They answered all of my questions thoroughly, and made my daughter's monthly visits comfortable and quick.
