Dr. Laura Vaccariello (Dr. Vac) was born and grew up in the Charlotte area. After high school, she attended Boston College for her undergraduate training. She then taught high school Biology in Chicago before returning to Boston to complete her dental degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After dental school, she completed a General Practice Residency at Harvard's Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Vaccariello then moved to the Midwest for her Orthodontic residency and Masters degree at Marquette University School of Dental Medicine in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. For her masters research, she studied the effects of visible and invisible orthodontic appliances on how adults are perceived in the workplace.
Dr. Vaccariello is thrilled to be home with her family and friends in the Carolinas. She and her husband, Matt, live in Fort Mill. They love being a part of the community that they serve. They have a son, Will, and they welcomed their daughter, Remi, this summer. Dr. Vac loves spending time with her family, going on adventures outdoors, trying new and adventurous recipes, traveling, and cheering for the Panthers.
Dr. Vaccariello is a member of the American Board of Orthodontics, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontics, the South Carolina Association of Orthodontists, and the American Dental Association. She is the only practicing board-certified orthodontist in Fort Mill. She is also an authorized provider in both Invisalign and Clear Correct. She loves attending continuing education course and is committed to always being up-to-date on the most current orthodontic techniques and research.

1000% would recommend. I had a fixed retainer that came undone. I was able to schedule a next day appointment online. They got me in and out with a new retainer in just under 1.5 hours, and it was even my first visit! They also smoothed out a chipped tooth for me while I was in there. The total cost was very reasonable as well.

My son had an appointment via referral to this office in June it is now August 3 and we have heard nothing back from them regarding the insurance coverage. When I called this morning I was met by a very rude receptionist who told me I should've received a letter from my insurance company and then they do not follow up with potential patients if they receive a denial from the insurance. Never in my life have I been met with such Disregard from a physicians office in this area. Completely negligent unless your insurance covers her cost. But the phone call that we were promised over a month ago would have been greatly appreciated since we had already discussed out-of-pocket costs

Dr. Vac and her staff are amazing and I could not recommend them enough. They make you feel welcome every time and are extremely knowledgeable. I had a special circumstance that my Dentist said Invisilign wouldn't work on, but Dr. Vac proved it was possible. She used a variety of her skills and made it a smooth experience. I could not be happier with the results. 11/10.

I highly recommend Dr. Vac and the staff at Vac Orthodontics. They are always so friendly and make you feel at home every time you are in their office. Dr. Vac did an amazing job with my aligners and I am super happy with my new and improved smile :)

After extensive research of orthodontists in the area for my son, I found Dr. Vac and her amazing staff. From the moment we walked in for a consultation through every visit since, we are made to feel welcome. They listen to my concerns, take time to explain where we are in the process, and put my anxious child at ease. There are a lot of options for braces these days, and what sets this practice apart is that, while they have just as many patients as others in the area, they don't make you feel like one of many! Do your research - but this group provides individualized care at competitive prices.

I was in town visiting my daughter and ended up with a problem with my permanent retainer for my bottom teeth. As I wasn't from this area I looked for a local orthodontist online and found all these glowing reviews about Vac Orthodontics so I called the office and they fit me in quickly to repair the retainer. Dr Vaccariello and her team couldn't have been more professional and helpful that morning. The office was extremely clean and they had me in and out quickly. If you are looking for an Orthodontist please give this office a call. They won't disappoint you.

My son has been seeing Dr. Vac for a year and a half for phase 1 of his orthodonture journey! Dr. Vac and staff are friendly, attentive, provide afternoon hours and do a great job working with the younger kids. We have had such a great experience and will continue to see them.

I am someone very private. Nor do I like to say something or recommend someone unless I see clear results. Dr. Laura Vaccariello is with no doubt an incredible professional and an extraordinary human being. When someone does an incredible job, it must be praised. She worked extensively for a close relative of mine and the results are outstanding in spite of the difficult case she took over. Other professionals in the orthodontic field around the country have seen my relative's results, praising Dr. Vaccariello's work. Most importantly, she is an honest professional. She will always speak the truth, by explaining and educating patients and family members during the treatment process. This is very important. Everytime I see my relative smile I remember Doctor Vaccariello and her professionalism, kindness, honesty and compassion for others. I will highly recommend Dr. Vaccariello for any orthodontic need. You will not regret it. I tip my hat to her.

Omg!! I was very hesitant at first as this was our very first time meeting Dr. Vac and her team. However, the very minute my son and I walked in, that hesitation quickly vanished. We were greeted with a big smile by Carla. We then met briefly with Nikki to discuss x-rays and answer any of our questions. Nikki was very friendly, enthusiastic, and very knowledgeable. Once we met with Dr. Vac, she too, was extremely pleasant and friendly. She took her time in explaining the process of braces to my son, she gave a visual demonstration, and was very clear about the procedure for braces. On our second visit, we were greeted the same way. This time Carla took me and my son into the meeting room to discuss payments, and other related information. Once I signed the documents, we met with Samantha. Samantha cleaned my son's teeth prior to assisting Dr. Vac with applying the braces onto my sons teeth. She too, was very friendly, kind, patient, and knowledgeable. She then illustrated to my son how to brush his teeth while wearing braces and gave him a Dr. Vac t-shirt!! If I could give Dr. Vac and her team 10 stars I would!! Her building is very clean, the ambiance is welcoming, and her along with her entire team are friendly, knowledgeable, kind, patient, and transparent. I would recommend Dr. Vac to each and everyone of you. I promise, you will not be disappointed!! My son is now a proud patient of Dr. Vac's Orthodontist!!!

I can't say enough good about this place or the ladies that work here. The staff is amazingly friendly and super helpful. I still can't get over the huge difference in my teeth in such a short time. Dr. Laura is a perfectionist and does amazing work. She takes the time to help you understand the whole process and makes it simple. It's been a great experience and I'm super pleased with my results.

Dr. Vac and her entire staff are absolutely wonderful! I always felt so important every time I walked through the door. You will be greeted with pleasantries, checked-in immediately and asked if you need anything while you wait to be seen(which usually is a very short time). Her office is bright and inviting and SPOTLESS! Dr. Vac is easy to talk to, she listens to your wants and needs as a patient and is very gentle when she is working on your mouth! She did wonders for me through Invisalign and I am 100% satisfied with my results! I would recommend Dr. Vac to anybody looking for an Orthodontist!!!
