For patients who require major work, a complete payment plan is designed with an appropriate payment schedule. Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, or any major credit card.
Dr. Tamdan Vodinh was born and raised in Vietnam. She moved to the United States of America while she was in her teen and has made Montgomery County her home ever since. Dr. Vodinh has been practicing dentistry for over ten years. She graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and School of Medicine with a bachelor degree in Medical Technology. Dr. Vodinh received her Doctor of Dental Surgery at Howard University, College of Dentistry in 2006. While attending dental school, Dr. Vodinh was induced to Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. She also completed a residency in Advanced General Dentistry at the University of Maryland, Dental School. She is a member of Academy of General Dentistry professional society, an organization dedicated to advancing dentists knowledge through continuing education. Dr. Vodinh also had volunteered to provide dental care pro bono in remote areas of undeveloped countries.
Dr. Vodinh provides comprehensive and personalized dental care for patients of all ages to help each person achieves his/her own individual goal. Her motto is Taking care of your families like our own. Her goal is to provide high quality service with gentle care in a comfortable, relaxed and friendly environment, where her patients needs will be her top priority. She strives for each patient to achieve long term, beautiful, excellent oral health. Dr. Vodinh enjoys all aspect of dentistry from preventative to complex cosmetic dental procedures. She advances her professional growth through her commitment in continuing education. Dr. Vodinh regularly participates in continuing education courses throughout the year as a way to maintain the best quality and customized treatment for each of her patients. Dr. Vodinh is currently obtaining her Fellowship in advanced studies from Academy of General Dentistry and orthodontics certification from Progressive Orthodontic.
Dr. Vodinh speaks fluent English and Vietnamese. She loves traveling to new places, practicing yoga and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Dr. Vodinh looks forward to meeting you and your family.
I enjoy working with Dr. Vodinh because I know she will always do the right thing. I believe our patients know they can always trust her to do whats in their best interest. As for the rest of our team, we are like a family! We all get along really well and genuinely care for one another. Everything we do, we do as a team.
I previously worked as a Pharmacy technician for CVS/Pharmacy for three and half years. To continue my endeavor, I have decided to pursue my career in dentistry. I studied to become a dental assistant at Hands on Dental Assistant Training school of Dentistry in 2017 and received certification in radiology. I also speak Spanish fluently and can translate for our Spanish speaking patients. I am currently finishing up pre-requisites in order to transfer to University of Maryland, School of Dentistry for a bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene. My ultimate goal is obtaining my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
I recently started working with Dr. Vodinh as the front office receptionist. I look forward to speaking with our patients every day whether its over the phone, through email, or in person! My goal to ensure each patient feels welcomed and comfortable as soon as they enter our doors.
I grew up in Damascus and Ive had the same group of friends since I was in elementary school. This has largely contributed to my passion for close-knit, personal relationships. I enjoy spending my spare time with the people closest to me and I am always ready for an adventure.
I started working with Dr.Vodinh first as a shadower and became a dental assistant. I took a dental radiology course from Hands-on Dental and earned my certification in dental radiology. I am always excited to meet the patients, old and new. I hope all our patients feel comfortable while they are at the office with our team.
I recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences. I am currently applying to dental schools to further pursue my interest in the field of dentistry. I hope to gain more experience and continue to learn from Dr.Vodinh and the team to better take care of our patients.

If you are wishing to have it all -affordable, excellent service and proficient dental work, then yes you will certainly receive that. But, if you truly wish to have an enjoyable -yes, enjoyable- experience as well as a set of teeth that you will be happy about, with absolute minimal discomfort in the process, then Dr. Vodinh has the master level skillset and quality of care you are looking for. No, I am not paid for saying this; it is just that after 20 years, I finally found a dentist "better than my favorite one, before he retired" -and I wish Dr. Vodinh and all of her equally wonderful staff all the best, for many many more years to come. Thank you being my new favorite dental office!

A very good place to get your dental work done. The whole place is well run and organized. The staff is very helpful, professional and pleasant. They have very safe and smart covid procedure to make you feel safe and assured when in there. I appreciate there use email, text and phone calls to check in with you about your appointment so can't miss your appointments or reschedule if needed. Just overall great experience. I was able to get my fillings and crown done here in a timely manner as well. I definitely recommend coming here.

Dr. Vodinh and her staff are warm and friendly, and strive to make you feel relaxed and confident from the moment of your arrival. I really appreciate the delicate touch Dr. Vodinh has with her instruments and never felt like I was receiving anything less than the best of care. I would Highly recommend Utter Dental Care to anyone who lives near Clarksburg MD. Dr. Vodinh was very respectful and took the time to explain everything to me so that I was always fully aware of what they were doing to my teeth. Lastly, she was very gentle while working on my teeth and never felt like she was being rough or hurting me. You will not regret picking Utter Dental Care.

We moved to Clarksburg last year and needed to find a good dentist for our family. Upon some research, I realized Utter Dental was located very close to me and I was motivated by the reviews to at least give it a chance. The staff is extremely efficient in getting back to me about my dental benefits prior to my visit which was very helpful. My kids hadn't been to the dentist in a long time so I was a little nervous how they might handle the experience but Dr. Vodinh was very easygoing and gentle with both of my kids and they seemed to handle the appointment without a hitch. The staff is great too. Su was accommodating and Pedro is really a star..such a nice person and disposition. I was so impressed at the the thought they put into making a dental experience as relaxing as possible too! They had serene music and even a massaging chair..pretty great and I even caught the essential oil diffuser in the corner to add to the experience. Beyond aesthetics, Pedro and Dr. Vodinh both paused to ask if I was ok and comfortable. Very gentle and an overall great experience..and guess what? I'm going back Friday!

Despite being somewhat off the beaten track for a denizen of downtown Silver Spring, I am pleased to have discovered a jewel of a dental clinic way up county in Clarksburg, Maryland. The office is sparkling clean, the equipment is modern, and nature scenes on a flat screen TV, accompanied by mellow music, helped to soothe and relax this anxious patient. The best part of the experience was meeting Dr. Tamdan Vodinh and her assistant Pedro. Like the receptionist at the front desk, they were professional, welcoming, and gracious. My dental treatment was handled with dispatch and consideration for my comfort. My first visit to Utter Dental Care Clinic was well worth the trek. It will therefore not be my last.

Easily the best dentist I've ever visited in my adult life. Dr. Vodinh's office has this holistic approach to dental care. My blood pressure was taken before my procedure, I've never had that done before. She also gives you valuable advice on proper dental care and makes you feel comfortable especially with that massaging chairs they have. Everyone in that office is very nice, Pedro and Evelyn are very courteous and nice. The place is also very modern with relaxing atmosphere. While the location is not as glamorous as other established dental practices, I'll rather have the service I get there than posh places with no customer service. I fully recommend Dr Vodinh and her wonderful team.
