Utah Surgical Arts has four offices to deliver outstanding care and results. All of our board-certified surgeons perform the full scope of oral surgery procedures and will work with you to create an individualized treatment plan based on your unique needs.

Our oral surgeons, Drs. Harris, Park, Brown, and Wood, are also physicians and are highly skilled in the multifaceted areas of oral and maxillofacial care. They are exceptional oral surgeons in South Jordan, Provo, Payson, and Lehi, UT, and take pride in their approachability and eagerness to address every patients concerns. Every member of our team believes that delivering exceptional care to you and your loved ones is the highest priority. Utah Surgical Arts is the only AAAHC accredited oral surgery facility in Utah. The AAAHC Certificate of Accreditation demonstrates an organizations commitment to provide safe, high-quality services to its patients.

Our waiting area has free WiFi, beverages, snacks, hand sanitizers, and chapsticks, and we try to make the recovery process as pleasant as possible by delivering flowers to each post-operative patient.

Our surgical staff is trained to assist and help monitor patients undergoing anesthesia, while our front desk staff is knowledgeable and trained to handle financial needs and answer insurance questions. Additionally, our staff undergoes continuing education courses to further their training and advance their skills.

We have four offices located in Provo, Payson, South Jordan, and Lehi, Utah, to make premium oral surgery treatment more accessible to our patients. In 2001, Dr. Harris designed and constructed the Utah Surgical Arts outpatient surgical facility, which is accredited by AAAHC. Dr. Harris and his wife enjoy living in beautiful Utah County and raising their six children. Dr. Harris has 23 years of experience specializing in all aspects of facial, reconstructive, cosmetic, and oral surgery, including dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, jaw surgery, and a variety of other cosmetic procedures.

Following his undergraduate work at Brigham Young University, Dr. Harris chose to pursue the artistic science of facial, oral, and cosmetic surgery in the European tradition, where specialization in facial surgery requires both a medical and dental degree. He completed his medical degree and residency training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. He received his dental degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.

Dr. Harris is certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS). His academic achievements include scholastic honors and multiple scientific research awards. His goal is to provide excellent surgical care in a comfortable environment.

Dr. Park enjoys practicing the expansive scope of maxillofacial surgery. This includes placement of dental implants, extraction of wisdom teeth, removal of pathology, orthognathic surgery, facial trauma and reconstructive surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, and sleep disorder/apnea surgery. Dr. Park has staff privileges at various hospitals to perform these procedures.

Dr. Park received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University. He received a scholarship to the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School and accepted a residency position at the University of Louisville, where he received his medical degree, completed an internship in general surgery, and obtained a certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Park is a member of numerous professional organizations, such as the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS), American Medical Association (AMA), and the American Dental Association (ADA). Dr. Park is board-certified by ABOMS and has received several awards for his academic and professional achievements, as well as research.

Dr. Jared M. Brown is a native of Utah and a proud graduate of the University of Utah, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in medical biology. Dr. Brown and his family were excited to return to Utah and begin private practice. Over the years, he has been recognized for his exceptional bedside manner and overall treatment of patients while in residency and continues to provide superior care for his patients and their families.

Upon finishing his degree in 2003, Dr. Brown moved his family to Omaha, Nebraska, to attend Creighton University. Here, he participated in multiple oral surgery externships that led him to the University of Texas and the University of Nebraska. He graduated cum laude with his DDS in 2006 from Creighton University and was honored to be inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.

Dr. Brown began his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center immediately following graduation in 2006 and earned his medical degree at the University of Nebraska Medical School in 2009.

During his 5 years of residency, he completed a 1-year general surgery internship with rotations in Neurosurgery, Head and Neck Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Trauma, and Critical Care Medicine. He also completed an extensive 1-year training in anesthesia, including local, IV, and inhalational techniques.

Dr. Brown is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS). He is also an active member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) and the Utah Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

When hes not in his office, you can find him watching his girls at dance or piano recitals, hiking in the mountains, skiing (both water and snow), supporting local youth and high school sports, fishing, hunting, camping, or cycling.
