Dr. Christopher Price of Utah Facial & Oral Surgery is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon. In addition to earning his dental degree and medical degree, Dr. Price has undergone intensive training in hospital-based surgery and anesthesia. This makes him the most qualified practitioner to solve complex problems related to the teeth, jaws, mouth, and face.
Our highly skilled surgical staff have completed and stay up to date with training in the administration of intravenous (IV) sedation and patient monitoring. Our front office staff continuously expand their knowledge of health and insurance policies, staying current with the latest changes and amendments to policy coverage.
He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He received his dental degree from Columbia University in New York, NY. He successfully completed an internship in general surgery and a six-year residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center/Parkland Memorial and Affiliated Hospitals program in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Price then accepted a Cosmetic Surgery fellowship, where he received additional training in facial cosmetic surgery.
Dr. Price performs all aspects of oral, maxillofacial, and facial plastic and reconstructive procedures. Dr. Prices interests include reconstructive surgery of the face and jaws, placement of dental implants to replace teeth that have been removed, the removal of wisdom teeth, corrective jaw surgery, and surgical treatment of snoring and sleep apnea. Dr. Price maintains staff privileges to perform these procedures at various hospitals.
Utah Facial & Oral Surgery offers a wide array of oral healthcare services ranging from dental implants and wisdom teeth removal to bone grafting, jaw surgery, and treatment for sleep apnea as well as facial trauma. The practice serves patients across the greater Salt Lake and Utah Counties, including Salt Lake City, South Jordan, Murray, Lehi, Kearns, Saratoga Springs, Bluffdale, Tooele, Sandy, and West Jordan.

I am 3 days out from surgery and I have had little to no pain, never had any swelling. I found other places that could do the procedure cheaper, but I am so glad I went with them

I had two children have their wisdom teeth removed at the same time. They got in and out quickly. The staff was courtesy and friendly and gave us everything we needed to keep them comfortable when they got home. This practice also offers to use plasma to aid healing which I highly recommend.

Terrible experience. Warning Mamas, even with a minor they will not let you walk your child back to the procedure room per the preference of staff and the Dr. I wish there could have been better communication and expectations set prior to arriving for the extraction so I could prepare myself and my son. I tried to ask for an update after 30 minutes and the front desk staff walked away from me. The Dental assistant was very rude when I asked why I couldn't accompany my son ( who was not having general anesthesia mind you), she just stated it's policy. While speaking with Dr. Price after he was confrontational and unapologetic. It was an unfortunate situation. My son said they gave him so many shots and gave him Marcaine AFTER the procedure despite me telling him our history and that if lido didn't work, Marcaine needed to be used. I will not be returning. He's in a lot of pain.

Dr. Price and his staff are the best. I've had a few procedures done and the whole staff has been top notch. Dr. Price takes the time to go over everything and helps you come up with the best treatment. Not the most expensive treatment, but the treatment that will work best. The nurses make you feel very comfy. I hate getting work on my mouth but they make it a very good experience. I had issues with my last procedure while i was in Hawaii and they were on the phone with me and helped me through everything and got me in as soon as I landed. If you are looking to get any oral surgery I would go to Dr. Price in a heart beat. He does great work and the office is the best. I will go to him every time I need something done. Thank you Dr. Price and everyone in the office. You guys are the best!!

I did not have a good experience. A friend told me about this place but dentist was not very gentle to me. Staff was great but I was very nervous and I knew I was going to feel pressure because I had extractions before but this one was a bad experience to me.I felt the dentist just wanted to pull it out and did not care that I was so scared!

Dr Price and his whole staff was amazing. My son was in horrible pain due to swelling and infection of his gums because his wisdom teeth were coming in. They made a huge effort to get us in as an emergency visit the same day. Everyone there was so helpful and kind. Dr Price took time to explain the procedure to us and we did not feel like he was rushing to get out of the room. The staff showed empathy and were helpful through the whole process.

Friendly staff and Dr.Price is an exceptional Surgeon, I had them knock me out b4 procedure and he and he's staff made me feel comfortable b4 hand ,woke up no problem, it's day 2 all sutures are holding good,and pain has greatly decreased in 24 hrs,so far my experience has been exceptional.
