Dr. Christopher Price of Utah Facial & Oral Surgery is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon. In addition to earning his dental degree and medical degree, Dr. Price has undergone intensive training in hospital-based surgery and anesthesia. This makes him the most qualified practitioner to solve complex problems related to the teeth, jaws, mouth, and face.
Our highly skilled surgical staff have completed and stay up to date with training in the administration of intravenous (IV) sedation and patient monitoring. Our front office staff continuously expand their knowledge of health and insurance policies, staying current with the latest changes and amendments to policy coverage.
He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He received his dental degree from Columbia University in New York, NY. He successfully completed an internship in general surgery and a six-year residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center/Parkland Memorial and Affiliated Hospitals program in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Price then accepted a Cosmetic Surgery fellowship, where he received additional training in facial cosmetic surgery.
Dr. Price performs all aspects of oral, maxillofacial, and facial plastic and reconstructive procedures. Dr. Prices interests include reconstructive surgery of the face and jaws, placement of dental implants to replace teeth that have been removed, the removal of wisdom teeth, corrective jaw surgery, and surgical treatment of snoring and sleep apnea. Dr. Price maintains staff privileges to perform these procedures at various hospitals.
Utah Facial & Oral Surgery offers a wide array of oral healthcare services ranging from dental implants and wisdom teeth removal to bone grafting, jaw surgery, and treatment for sleep apnea as well as facial trauma. The practice serves patients across the greater Salt Lake and Utah Counties, including Salt Lake City, South Jordan, Murray, Lehi, Kearns, Saratoga Springs, Bluffdale, Tooele, Sandy, and West Jordan.

Great experience. Quick and easy. I had them drill through a bone you expose a tooth that never came in (I'm in my 30s). They did the work quickly and with quality.

I knew we had to use Dr. Price again after he had previously done oral surgery on our oldest child. The office staff is nice and you are given all the information necessary to help you understand the procedure and ask any questions you might have. Dr. Price does excellent work. Both of my children have had minimal swelling with their wisdom teeth extractions. It was a good experience. I will use him again in the future!

I thought the staff was great from the first person I seen walking through the door to The surgeon! Dr Price was very friendly, patient, and explained everything perfectly and answerened all my questions. I would highly recommend anyone needing services to give these guys a visit!

Our son had oral surgery this morning and I was impressed with the whole experience. They were so great at communicating, scheduling and follow up. The surgery itself was quick and they very compassionate and thurough. The price that was quoted is exactly what we paid, no surprises. My son Jefferson said that the girls were really nice and he met Dr. Price before the procedure (wisdom teeth removal) and he made him feel really comfortable. He also said he likes the office, but is not a fan of the procedure, haha since his cheeks are swollen and sore. Dr. Price did an implant for me last year and everyone was wonderful and very professional. I would definitely recommend his office!

I had a great wisdom teeth removal experience here. I had two teeth removed from the right side of my mouth. The staff was very friendly and helped me feel more at ease, especially since I don't love IVs. About 30 seconds after getting the IV I fell asleep and woke up sitting in a chair in another room at their office. I was hardly loopy at all and the first day of recovery went great. As much bleeding as could be expected, but the pain medication they prescribed handled it just fine. On day two things feel great and I'm back to work. Thank you everyone at Utah Facial & Oral Surgery!

I'm a 58 year old who needed a wisdom tooth removal in lower right jaw. It had erupted suddenly over the past year and complete removal was compromising the nerve that gave me feeling in the lower right side of my face. Complete extraction due to the weird 90 degree angle and over grown roots could have left me numb in jaw, chin, and tongue for the rest of my life. Dr. Price explained my options. He never once mentioned the word "Coronectomy" when explaining my options though I wish he had. He explained the process throughly though. I left initial consultation needing more in depth medical information so I researched it myself online but that might just be my personality to do so. I'm happy with the outcome of my surgery and almost pain free just 4 days after my Coronectomy. Dr. Price and his staff made me feel comfortable and confident before surgery and I was a nervous patient.
