This place can't get better at what they do! I was nervous to get a root canal and they made me feel welcome and comfortable all the way! Almost makes me wish I had other work that needed to be done so I could go back and see them! Highly recommend

I am so impressed with Dr. Kjar and his team. I wish I could remember the name of the lovely woman assisting him, she was so nice and very informative. They were both phenomenal as well as the front office staff. They got me in for an emergency root canal same day. I was so stressed and anxious about it as I do not do well with pain. They made me feel very comfortable and the procedure was a breeze. I also got a voicemail from Dr Kjar checking on me and giving me his cell phone if I have any problems. I've been through hell the last 2 weeks in pain and I'm finally getting relief. Highly recommend!!!

Had the best experience today getting a root canal on a failed root canal that was done by another dentist. Going to the dentist usually gives me major anxiety but I felt so at ease and relaxed the entire time here! I could not recommend them enough!

I needed a root canal pretty bad since before thanksgiving ( now December 23 ) but I wasn't able to get in as fast as I wanted, being a performer I had lots of shows during this busy holiday season and I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to make it in at all with the end of year rush and my small window between shows! Luckily Dr, kjar was able to get me in very quickly! The accommodated my schedule, Worked with me on a payment plan and Even better the root canal went smoothly and I wasn't in any pain at all during the procedure! I read some other reviews that this place is only in it for money and blah blah blah, I was treated so well that I think those reviews were probably one off exaggerated experiences by a Karen. I had a great time, or as great as one can have with a root canal! The dr worked efficiently and was personable. And the staff was very nice as well. this was a much better experience than I ever could have expected given the circumstances. They also called me the day after to see how I was holding up! Such a good experience, if anyone needs a root canal I'm going to recommend they go here!

Had a great experience with Dr. Kjar. Is it over priced? You get what you pay for. Did you have to wait? I would rather him spend the time to do the job right for anyone which he does / did. I highly recommend them. Awesome friendly staff that went above and beyond my expectation, thank you guys!

Just got a root canal, and it was honestly a good experience, yeah it hurt, but Dr. Kjar was so careful, and I hardly felt a thing. The pina colada flavored laughing has was a nice bonus. An big extra thank you to Haley, she was incredibly kind and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. Thank you guys!

I had the great pleasure of having Dr. Kjar fix my tooth. The service and professionalism of the staff and the Dr. was extraordinary. The best dental experience I have had. Definitely recommended.

This my first time leaving a review because I couldn't let such an amazing experience go without notice! As a foreigner I have been to dentists in different states out here and none compares to my experience at Utah Endodontics! Every single person in this office contributes to the welcoming and comfortable environment it provides. They specialize in fillings and root canals but not crowns though; the other dentist who did my crown said that my root canal was very well done by Dr. Matthew K. Dr. Matthew K. Is probably the most caring dentist I have met! My appointment was in March and he even followed up on the evening of my root canal via call and accommodated all my concerns till this day! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Amazing! I was terrified when I found out I had an abscess. I wasn't in any pain so I was skeptical I even had anything there. My new dentist told me I was going to lose my tooth for sure and probably would have to go to the hospital for a surgery. Not only did Dr.Thomson save my tooth, but some strange dizzy spells I had been having for two years disappeared after I had my root canal. I assumed I had another health issue and I had no idea it was dental related. Getting my tooth taken care of has improved my quality of life so much! Sharon is amazing and sweet they were able to get me in quick. I had to later come back in for a second tooth. Each appointment was quick. They genuinely care if you are in pain and value your time. I was shocked when everyone there remembered things about me. The attention to detail is incredible! They remembered that I had a slightly different hair style from six months before. The assistant there was amazing and knowledgeable. She made me feel I very comfortable with being there. She answered all of my questions. I love that they quoted me the amount on my consultation and it matched the exact amount after my root canal. Very straightforward, No bad surprises! They do send you a bill for the whole thing initially (before your insurance kicks in.) just wait for the second bill. Dr. Thomson did my root canal and he was great, very gentle. It went so much better than I expected. He tells you what he's doing, But he doesn't give you too much detail to freak you out. (the right amount!) I love that he's honest, And isn't afraid to double check his work to ensure everything is how it should be. You can tell all the staff truly cares about you. And I love that they all seem to love their job. If you need any work done get it done here! I wish I could get all of my dental work done here!

I posted the review below 6 years ago. Went in today for the first time since then and was still impressed. I found everyone to be helpful, efficient, and competent. They took care to make the experience as comfortable as possible. Highly recommended. ***** All the staff I interacted with were helpful and friendly. I found Dr. Thomson accidentally after visiting a number of local dentists. The most recent dentist indicated I needed three root canals and was asking to be paid fees above those approved by my insurance. I thought a second opinion was in order. I never write reviews but every interaction I have had with this office has been exceptional, from making the initial appointment to needing an antibiotic after hours. The staff at the front desk are courteous and helpful. The dental assistant was both knowledgeable and friendly. Dr. Thomson was professional and clear about the options. To sum it up, I went from being apprehensive to trusting I was in good hands. As it turned out I needed one procedure and not three, and the one was not a root canal. I'm beyond grateful for finding this office and Dr. Thomson. I highly recommend them.

My mother who no longer can manager her finances was 3 days late making a monthly payment when the dentist office sent a snarky and threatening letter to send her to collections with a 33% penalty. Her bill had already been more than half paid. How about a letter or phone call asking if other arrangements need to be made instead of going straight to a threat to send her to collections? I called the office and the staff member who signed the letter said it wasn't her letter but that the dentist wrote it. I'm sure collecting payment can be challenging but I kinda doubt the dentist is in the poor house while waiting for a payment from a widow on a limited fixed income.

I had a procedure done yesterday with Dr Kjar and Sarah. It was really a great experience. It wasn't a typical root canal and required stitches. 24hrs later I am experiencing little to no pain at all. Dr Kjar was kind enough to call and text me to see how I was feeling. I would definitely recommend him to any of my friends and family!

I had a root canal done by Dr. Matt Kjar 9 yrs ago & the tooth is doing great. Wonderful Doctor. So when my teenage son needed a root canal done today I knew where to go. Dr. Troy Thomson worked on my son today, he is so fast & thorough. No pain or problems. Thank you for your kind office staff & incredibly talented doctors you made my son at ease for the procedure that he was nervous about.

Dr. Kjar and Dr. Thompson have always treated friends and family of mine with respect and kindness. They do wonderful work and are thorough yet complete the work in an expedited way. You will find them both very friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you Utah Endodontics!
