Staff is very thorough. Dr. Uriegas makes the environment fun and relaxing for patients who are kind of anxious going to the dentist like me. We did some fillings and it wasn't as bad as I remembered it being done before at other dentists office.

My wife and I were looking for a Dentist that had a gentle touch to work with our children.....we found that here at Uriegas Dentistry. Caring staff members provided a comforting environment for our family. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for great dental care.

This comment is not about the dentist's skills. This is about how Uriegas Dentistry handled the financial part of our visit. My husband was the patient and we visited the office in 2020. After examining the problem, the doctor herself came out to the waiting area with a staff member to talk to me about the insurance coverage (my husband was under nitrous gas I think). So, they BOTH told me that my husband had a crown on the tooth in question in 2018 and that normally the insurance company would only pay for a crown once every 7 years, however, because this was a recurring decay the insurance company would agree to cover it. So we decided to fix the tooth instead of pulling it (which would have been covered by the insurance). A few weeks later the contacted me and said that I needed to pay over $800 because the insurance refused to pay. There was no apology for the expensive mistake they made! There were several phone calls and in our last conversation with Uriegas Dentistry I told them it was not fair and I should not have to pay for their mistake. I even said that I would be fine with paying half of the amount. They stopped calling for about over a year until two weeks ago. They made a very expensive mistake, never apologized, and are not even willing to meet me half way. This is very wrong business.

Dr Uriegas and her staff are very friendly and make sure to answer any questions you might have. I love how Dr Uriegas explains everything that she is going to do and how your progress is going and also gives you tips on how to improve your oral health.

I will never take my kids anywhere but here, I have a child with severe anxiety who was so comfortable she said Mom I give this place a 10 coming from her that is meaningful!! Everyone at the office is so sweet and friendly and so helpful!! Dr. Uriegas took her time and talked to my child explained what was happening and if she needed them to stop to raise her hand, they made both of my children very at ease!! Best dentist in McAllen TX I will never go anywhere else!! Thank you for such an amazing experience!!

A warm and inviting establishment, the sign outside walk ins welcomed was a big plus. I was greeted with courtesy, the wait time was not long. I was escorted to the room by Dr. Uriegas I was immediately drawn to her down to earth manners and simplicity. I immediately felt at ease. She made small conversation before starting her work. Dr Uriegas is a professional dentist, I recommend her for anyone needing one.

My 10 yr old son went in for removal of excess tissue growth due to his expander pushing out on his gums. He was already worked up about the work he had to get done and was feeling very scared from the beginning. However, Dr Uriegas & staff treated my son so kindly & with the best bedside manner! Using laser technology the tissue was removed within the same consult visit within seconds. My son didn't feel a thing and his smile looks as good as new. Our Only regret was wasting time with a oral surgeon who did not make him feel comfortable at all. I will forever be grateful to this office for easing my sons biggest fear, dental procedures.

The team of employees are very kind and helpful, Dr Uriegas very kind to let me in as a new customer as I was in sevier pain of an infected molar. I just needed to reduce swelling so she can pull my bad molar. She prescribed antibiotics and pain medications. But all employees seen to really care about you . Cleanliness and professionalism a great place to chose as your New Dentist.

Amazing and courteous staff! Martha is very helpful in getting an appointment set up and completing all the paperwork. Love the use of online paperwork that's easy to navigate. Eva is such a sweetheart and makes the pre-exam/screening fun and stress free!! I love that she is very attentive and asks how you're doing thorough out the visit. Dr. Uriegas is just amazing! I love that we both have the same passion in loving history and the fact that she takes the time to get to know you as a patient and a little bit more about yourself. Overall, the dentistry is very welcoming and my new favorite place to go for dentistry needs!
