All our dental professionals at UrgentDent maintain the highest level of accreditation and pursue ongoing continuing education to stay updated on the latest of dental trends. We have staff members who speak Spanish, English, Arabic, and Serbian to best suit a range of customers. We accept CareCredit, all PPO Insurance, and we are in network with Delta Dental Family And Indiana Medicaid. Our office has been in practice for over 15 years. The Munster office has been open since 2006 and offers extended hours. Referrals are welcome.
Our locally owned and operated team serves Northwest Indiana communities such as Lake County, Porter County, Munster, Merrillville, Highland, St John, Dyer, Schererville, Lowell, Hobart, Valparaiso, Portage, Hebron, and Crown Point. We are a member of the American Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Association, and the Northwest Indiana Dental Society.
Ajmal Wardak, D.D.S., -President Dr. Wardak received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2001. He is the founder of UrgentDent. He opened our Munster office in 2006 and our Merrillville office in 2013. He is our lead doctor at UrgentDent. He oversees all of our dentist and is a great mentor to them. He is a part of the Global Medical Foundation, and provides nonprofit dental services to those in need. He has been providing Donated Dental Services through the Indiana Dental Association since 2012. He has continued his education and received his Fellowship for Implantology at the International Oral Implantology Institute, in 2010. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association and past member of the Royal Dental College of Ontario. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children.
Farid Wardak, CEO, Chief Executive Officer Mr. Wardak, is the co-found and CEO of UrgentDent. He has been with UrgentDent, since we opened our doors in 2006. He is a natural born entrepreneur. He has managed multiple businesses for over 30 years. He oversees the progress and growth of UrgentDent. He stays involved in the office on a daily basis and is proud of the growth of our family operation. His ultimate goal is to serve the dental care need in our community with the highest standard of care. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his wife and five children.
Mrs. Djorovic has been with UrgentDent since 2010. She oversees all our offices. She works closely with staff, supervisors and doctors to improve our office for our clients and keeps us up to date on the latest education and technology. She is a native to Munster & has worked in the dental field for over 14 years. Outside the office she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and two dogs! They enjoy Disney vacations and the Florida sun as much as possible!
Dr. Brink received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1994. She went on to complete a general practice residency at the Medical College of Ohio in 1995. Her father and brother are also dentists. She has owned her own private practice since 1996. Dr. Brink enjoys treating children and those that are fearful of the dentist!

"ABSOLUTELY" hands down the #1 dentist office in NWI for any urgent dental care you may need! What AMAZING, PASSIONATE & WONDERFUL Doctors there! Not to mention there friendly & knowledgeable group of dental assistants and front office ladies! This office is a true example of how one should be treated from your very first step in the door til the end of whatever procedure you may be having they treat you WONDERFUL! THANK YOU "SO MUCH" Doctor for taking care of my momma this morning in her painful emergency situation!!! You guys ROCK!!!!!!

I had such a great experience today. Kayla and my dentist had my anxiety at ease. Had some same day extractions done and was in so much pain prior. Friendly environment with a family feel. Kudos to you two especially!!

I can hardly put into words my most sincere and deepest gratitude I have with regard to this dental office! Every single time I have had an appointment or had to walk in due to a dental emergency the entire staff treated my situation with complete and utter care and urgency. This dental staff has always found a way to accommodate my needs and every time I may have had extreme anxiety the staff was more than compassionate and empathetic. I have a special place in my heart for Miss Martha, Dr. Wardak and Dr. Suarez. These 3 professionals truly treated me with respect, and were more than kind and caring to me. These 3 individuals, above all else, have always been honest about my situation and honest about the treatment options. And in my opinion that is more important than anything.

I am so happy I went to urgentdent. The best experience I have ever had at a dentist office. I had two extractions done and the dentist made me feel so at ease because I am afraid of needles. He assured me everything would be ok. My dental office for life. Would reccomend to everyone.

I totally recommend this place. Great dentists, staff, and the hygienist was super great. They do what needs doing and they don't try to sell you a bill of goods like many other practices. They are caring and explain everything in an easy to understand way.

If I could give them 10 stars I definitely would! I literally called this morning to get my bottom wisdom teeth extracted because it had a huge crack from a cavity, they asked me to come in to be seen and sure enough they got me in the chair the same hour and even recommended I get my top right taken out too and did both with such speed and precision! They even let me see they teethe that was causing me so much pain! Everyone was so nice and attentive they made me feel super comfortable and the reassurance throughout the extraction really helped! I love their Munster location!

Dr Saweres has to be the BEST dentist ever!!! I had a back molar removed today. Dr Saweres was so smooth, calming and friendly. I didn't feel anything ... not even when the novocaine wore off. I was so nervous. Over 20 years ago I had another back molar removed by someone else and completely different established. It wasn't good. Dr Saweres changed my thoughts on going to see the dentist. It was so painless and quick. I was so happy when I left that, I made another appointment for a cleaning. It's late in the evening. I took ibuprofen once since I left. I'm good. I'm going to take one now because I'm going to sleep to be safe. But I'm good. Dr Saweres will be my dentist from here on out. I really appreciate what he did for me today. I felt so safe and I trust him. The staff there are a bunch of sweet women. Kayla was my hygienist. Excellent. Every woman at the front desk handled everything efficiently. I tried to reschedule today, lol. One beautiful young lady told me I was going to have my tooth abstracted today! We need her there! I can't say enough how grateful I am. My faith in dental health & help was reborn again today. I'm really happy!

This place is a life changer. I been to many dentists that sent me to surgeons and the surgeons wanted thousand to remove my teeth until a friend told me about this place. They take my insurance and got the job done in the first visit.

I honestly love both of the dentists that are here! I have terrible anxiety & they're very considerate. I've had 2 wisdom teeth removed here, as well as 2 root canals & 1 other broken tooth removed here. Today they were able to save a tooth that another dentist office said wasn't possible. They really are the best! :)

After being to serval dentist and leaving because I was scared to get my teeth pulled 3 years of pain later I choose this dentist and when I say the doctor was wonderful that he was. He made sure I was real numb & comfortable . He talked to me a and explained what he was doing through out the whole process. He pulled my wisdom teeth out so fast and gentle I couldn't even believe it. If I could give them a 1000 stars I would.

They saved my life today. I was in excruciating pain, I called all kinds of places, including my own dentist, and no one would help me. I walked in here without an appointment, and they saw me, AND fixed my problem. No more pain! I can't hardly believe it. The staff was amazing, and the Dr. was fantastic! I'll never go anywhere else after this visit.

I had a pleasant visit I walked in and was treated with care they said the tooth was infected and they gave me antibiotics before they pulled it.
