Dry sockets are common, following extraction of teeth. It is important any time you have a tooth extracted, that you follow the post-op instructions provided by your dentist. Any suction created in your mouth can pull the clot out of the socket, leaving an open socket and bone exposed. This can cause excruciating pain and you should follow up with your dentist.
Most likely your Doctor will use a medicated paste and packing to fill the hole to allow the socket to heal. Medication is also prescribed to help manage pain until proper healing. The pain can last for up to 2 weeks, following the extraction. Sometimes dry sockets occur regardless of proper post-op care. Bottom line is that it takes time to heal.

Made a huge mistake coming to get my tooth checked out at this office. I had a cap come completely loose at around 8pm and found this plan online who could get me in at 9am. I showed up early and filled out my paperwork. I'm new to the state and currently don't have insurance so I was expecting to pay cash. I was planning on getting my teeth checked out as soon as I had coverage through my job but of course my tooth had other plans. Most of the appointment I was waiting around, it was $80 for 1 picture/X-ray of the tooth and 5 min with the dentist for him to tell me I need a crown. He poked around in my mouth a came back with numbers for not only a crown but a tooth removal as an alternative and wisdom teeth removal. I have no desire to get my wisdom teeth out since I've had two other dentists recommended that I keep them unless they were bothering me. I was quoted almost 2k for the one crown and when I asked why it was so high she said that's just what they charge and that she could see if they could get me a discount. The discount was that I had to pay $190 to get additional X-rays and teeth cleanings and then they'd drop the the price, it was still way out of my price range and quadruple the price I was quoted from two of my previous dentist back home. I felt very uncomfortable with the professionalism of the dentist who kept trying to push/bump in to me to get me to agree with him that I need my wisdom teeth out. I would never get work done at a place that's just looking to make a dollar off you vs caring about what you really need. When I was checking out I asked for a copy of the exam records and my X-ray to be printed so I could hand a physical copy to another dentist who I immediately scheduled with while I was sitting around waiting. The receptionist said she couldn't print me a copy she could only email it to me. When I asked why, she whispered she didn't know but would ask the other lady sitting behind her. Not even a couple of minutes later she handed me a printed X-ray and my billing info and said that's as much as she could give me and the rest would be emailed to me. Still haven't received the email. I wouldn't recommend this office to anyone if you need serious work done.

My son Matthew had all his teeth removed due to diseases. He was from out of town. While in Vegas some stitches broke and there was severe bleeding. I made one call and they got him right in. They were able to stop the bleeding and put in new stitches. And the price was right. The care was great, and I will tell other family members. Thank you so much. Brent Johnson

Got in touch with the doctor and was told to come in and they would take care of the tooth which was done right away. Yes it hurt but when you have a cavity that was so bad all you can do is make the best of it. I 'm so glad to have it done. I'll be going back to get the rest of the teeth fixed real soon. Great dentist with an awesome, helpful staff and very reasonable prices. Went to have two wisdom teeth removed and they made it as painless as possible. Took me in directly after I finished paperwork and made sure I was comfortable during the entire process. Surprisingly good prices as well, which always makes things much less stressful. Definitely coming back for any future dental appointments. Also, their after hours staff helped me to get my prescriptions filled when I was having a difficult time with the pharmacy. Without them I'd probably still be dealing with that pharmacy a day later trying to get antibiotics. Awesome team!

They were able to get me a very last minute appointment while I was in Vegas on vacation. The ladies at the front desk were great with looking up my insurance, there were some issues that made it take a long time to find but they kept pushing through to find it. In the end I got my toothache taken care of that day and they were very accommodating. Would definitely recommend this place!

This is the best dental office I've ever been to. The staff is very friendly & knowledgeable & the doctor knows what he's doing. They gained my trust. I need to go back a few more times before my work is completed but, I am glad that I found this office & I would recommend them to anyone I know looking for a dentist.
