Our newly built office is designed to embody the same relaxed and optimistic energy that children feel at home, which Dr. Dina and her team want to bring to their patients. Our spaces calm and cozy Farmhouse style is punctuated by calming blues and grays. With colorful touches like vibrant artwork throughout the waiting room and treatment rooms, a colorful central wall lined with shiplap, and prizes that can be earned throughout their time in the office, the space is made to invite and engage kids throughout the entire course of their visit.
The UPD team takes an honest, compassionate and joyful approach to treating our patients. Since dental decay progresses much faster in baby teeth than in adult teeth, we encourage regular visits to the dentist starting atage one. Its in these pivotal visits that our team teaches kids (and their parents!) lifelong healthy oral care habits through that focus on preventative care. We offer an array of services to prevent tooth decay, catch restorative issues early on, and build a positive association with dental visits. We want all of our patients to have a life full of peace, love, and healthy teeth.
Dr.Dina Chehab graduated fromthe University of Marylandwith a degree in Biology andwas then awarded her Doctorate in Dental Surgery fromthe University Of Maryland School Of Dentistry.She continued her advancedpost-doctoral specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry atthe University of Southern Californiaand the Childrens Hospital of Los Angeles, rated as one of the top 5 Childrens Hospital in the US byUS News.
Dr. Chehab is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is a published author because of her continued research and involvement in academia as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Maryland Dental School and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Southern Californias Ostrow School of Dentistry.
As a pediatric dentalspecialist, Dr.Chehab is an advocate for children,who commits herself to delivering exceptional dental care for all infants, toddlers, children and adolescents including those with special health care needs and complex medical histories.She is also passionate about addressing concerns regarding access to oral health care and is determined to ensure that every child is able to receive the care and treatment they need.

Sara was born and raised in Frederick, and currently lives in downtown Frederick with her husband and three kids. She has a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from West Liberty University and has 12 years of pediatric dental hygiene experience.
Aleisha Ramos has been assisting in pediatric dental offices for over 6 years. She began her training in high school through a vocational program at the Center of Applied Technologies-South in Edgewater, MD and continued her studies at Anne Arundel Community College. She has always been great with children and has three nephews and nieces of her own. Aleisha has known she wanted to work in the dental field since before she can remember -- she wants to make people smile, whether it is with a joke or through her work.
You can count on Aleisha to make you and your child comfortable in our office. In her free time, Aleisha enjoys spending time with her fianc Zack, playing with dogs, and playing and singing in her church's band.
Rut has been in the dental field for over 5 years and has grown a passion and love for pediatric dentistry! Her favorite part of her job is getting to help others, and making our families feel welcome and taken care of. Some of her favorite things include:

My experience each and every time had been GREAT! They are very kind to my children, patient, and make it a fun time for them at the dentist. Even have toys for them to pick afterwords. I would HIGHLY recommended them. Also it's always been fast. Not having to wait 15-30mins for our turn. It's been the most fastest doctors place. Easy to cancel or reschedule appointments.

My twin boys needed a new dentist since we relocated to Urbana last year. We luckily found Dina's office and got professional treatment ,and then kept a very healthy check up routine. Always have a great, smooth experience here. The staff and Dr. Dina are friendly, respectful, caring and courteous of your time. The office is run very smoothly and efficiently. Definitely recommend.

Everyone at Urbana Pediatric Dentistry was great and patient with my daughter!!! They made my daughter's dental experience fun and comfortable. Dr.Dina was inviting and took her time to answer my questions. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great pediatric experience for their child!!!

When we arrived at the office we were greeted by the friendliest staff. We met with Dr. Dena. My daughter has special needs and she was so patient and sweet with her. She made my daughter feel calm. It was the best experience my daughter has had with any dentist. I will definitely be making this my permanent practice!

Dr. Dina and team are amazing!! My daughter had two procedures done two weeks apart, and she felt so comfortable. She's already asking when she can go back to the dentist! Everyone in the office is so warm and welcoming. Having kids excited to go to the dentist, is huge! It sets the stage for life. I can't recommend this practice enough!

Urbana Pediatrics Dentistry has been a God sent they are so patient with my daughter and her needs and the staff is amazing.I love that they go at the paste that is most comfortable for my daughter and make her feel so comfortable.I highly recommend them for your kiddos if your looking for a pediatric dentistry.

Dr. Dina and her staff were beyond exceptional. My son needed major oral restoration. First, their compassion and patience with my 4 year old little boy was inspirational. Second, Dr. Dina was so thorough with her explanation of my son's procedure. I didn't feel rushed or that I was being a bother with my questions. My son had surgery with zero trauma. It was impressive. 10/10 recommend this practice!

Excellent! Professional, friendly, helpful staff makes trips to the Dentist with Dr. Dina and the staff here a breeze for parents and fun for kids. The practice has little touches that make a big differences. From the friendly staff scheduling appointments to the adorable decor and furniture in the lobby through the way that children are introduced to equipment used, available entertainment during procedures and the quality of the toys for kids at the end of their visit, my kids were all smiles about maintaining their dental health.

I have to say hands down the best experience at a pediatric dentists office. First off the office is beautiful and well maintained. Even my 9 year old daughter said how beautiful the office was. Second the staff is off the charts!! They were so kind, warm and friendly. They made our experience so wonderful!! My daughter is terrified of the dentist and the staff made her feel so comfortable and at home that she went back on her own. I was very impressed!!! It was also my 1year old sons first time at the dentist. He even did well, and he's terrified of doctors. All of my questions and concerns were answered with care. Which for a parent (especially new parents FYI ) is so nice. I've had other places just answer quick just to get me out the door. But here at Urbana pediatric Dentistry they actually sat with me and went over everything. I love that!!! Thank you all so much for the best experience. OMGosh! So, I've been looking around for dentist for my boys for quite awhile. I stumbled upon Pediatric Dentistry on google and decided to give them a try. I've never felt so comfortable with a bunch of strangers. They immediately welcomed us and taught us well about good dental hygiene. The environment was also clean and friendly. They're stuck with us now :)

We transferred our youngest because we were not very pleased with her care at the other dentist office. We are so glad we did. Our daughter absolutely loved her experience. She wasn't tensed. She was so relaxed and Dr. Dina and her entire staff made our little girl feel so welcome and not scared of going to the dentist. Absolutely recommend a hundred percent!

I wish I could give 1 million stars! We were referred to this office by my daughters therapist and I couldn't be more pleased in our experience there. I am incredibly impressed by Dr. Dina & her staff. One of my children has a phobia of medical procedures & has been in treatment for it for awhile now. As you can imagine, this has made keeping up with regular medical appointments like the dentist very VERY difficult. Walking into the office felt very different than other dental offices- it's super cute & gives off less of a "medical" vibe. Dr. Dina and her staff were trauma informed and able to give my daughter what she needed in order to complete her cleaning and X-rays. They were calm, warm, allowed her to watch her siblings before having her appt, and answered all of her questions with respect and kindness. Although she ended up having a couple cavities that need to be filled, she left the office saying how grateful she is to have Dr. Dina as her new dentist and that she isn't scared to go back to have the fillings done. She. Isn't. Scared. I have 4 children in total and our experience at this dentist far exceeded my expectations for all of them. As a mom & clinical psychologist who specializes in treating children & adolescents- I would highly recommend this office to anyone with children who need extra support.

This is hands-down the absolute best Pediatric dentistry! The customer service and attention to detail provided by the staff and provider is very much appreciated! They are all so welcoming and make the experience smooth and keep my little ones at ease throughout the entire process! Dr. Dina is specific and precise about her craft and her dedication shows! Appointments are easy to make, the office is super clean, and the atmosphere is quite comfortable! Oh let's not forget the goodies and toys at the end! My little ones always look forward to it! I love how she includes my kids in their visit and communicates with them the entire time! Best experience!
