Dr. Wiley completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Denver and received his doctorate from Oregon Health and Science University. Dr. Wiley completed additional training at the OHSU Medical School Hospital Dental service and earned a certificate in Hospital Dentistry. He practiced dentistry for two years at the American Embassy Dental Clinic in Kathmandu, Nepal before starting his private practice in Portland in 1996. Throughout Dr. Wiley's career, he has participated in numerous courses and study clubs pertaining to dental techniques, materials, cosmetic dentistry, and the advancements in implant dentistry.
Dr. Parker is an award-winning general and cosmetic dentist. He was awarded 'America 's Best Dentist' 13 years in a row. He was recognized by a bay area KRON-TV station as 'one of the best dentists in the San Fransisco area'. He has multiple educational accomplishments that separate him as a highly skilled and accomplished dentist. He has moved to Portland to be near his grandchildren and brings a wide range of services that compliment Dr. Wiley 's practice at Uptown Family Dental, including sleep aids and TMJ treatment. Dr. Parker is a graduate of the University of Michgan dental school and University of California Santa Barbara undergraduate college.

Uptown Family Dental has a very caring staff. They helped me through tooth implants about 2 years ago. (Dr. Wiley) My Dentist and Hygenists (Vonda, Nikki, others) work carefully and positively together. I have had great experiences there since starting to see this practice about 3-4 years ago.

Very service-oriented: Offered me (from a "wait list") a same-day appointment (rescheduled from later in the year). High quality care and advice during both cleaning and dental exam and screening. No pmt or co-pay. Billing to follow, after determining my insurance coverage.

I've been a patient at Uptown Family Dental for over a decade and have never encountered a more professional and friendly staff. Dr. Wiley is meticulous and so kind. He calls after appointments just to check in and make sure things are feeling ok after the Novocain wears off. He spent 2 years in Tibet during his residency and he radiates that same sort of centered calmness you see in Buddhist monks. The office is scrupulously clean and well equipped with the newest technology. I actually enjoy going to the dentist!
