Dr. Julia Daigle is from Belle Chasse, LA and went to Dominican High School. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from LSU and returned home to New Orleans to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at LSU School of Dentistry. Dr. Daigle is actively involved in Academy of General Dentistry, Louisiana Dental Association, and the New Orleans Dental Association. Dr. Daigle looks forward to meeting her new patients, learning about their unique dental experiences, and providing them with gentle care. She strives to make her patients feel comfortable during each visit and leave feeling confident showing off their healthy smile. In her spare time Dr. Daigle loves traveling, trying new restaurants, and experiencing festivals and live music. Dr. Daigle also enjoys playing beach volleyball, staying active, and spending time with her family and dogs.

Fantastic dentist. I HATE going to the dentist. No longer Dr. Tom and and his team are amazing. I needed major dental work and was really dreading it till I met with Dr. Tom. Just a great experience, great staff, I was completely comfortable with all procedures and work. Go see them for any dental work

This is the best dentist office in New Orleans. I have been a patient for over a decade and am very happy with the quality of dental and overall care that I receive. I had a couple of dental emergencies and Uptown Dental was able to always fit me in or refer me to highly-qualified specialists who are the best in their field and deeply care about their patients and their work. Also a very special shout out to Diane who is always patient with my dental insurance questions and appointment changes and all the hygienist who answer all my questions and do a great job keeping my teeth in the best shape!

Very nice people and went in feeling fine, but left there with a bunch of issues that didn't exist before that they weren't able to fix. Would not recommend.

Such an incredible team of highly professional, caring doctors and especially personable hygienists!! Dr. Sammy Tom and Dr. Melissa Tom are the best dentists in the New Orleans area-- and this is coming from someone who used to dread dentist visits before going to Uptown Dental. The Tom's painless, thorough cleanings; diligent, careful work; and endless expertise are unmatched! Highly recommend!

Drs Melissa and Sammy Tom take exceptional care of our 5 children (ages 3,5,8,10 and 12). Their staff is friendly, office is always clean, and their knowledge and thoroughness is unmatched. Uptown Dental is great for all ages!

I'm fairly picky when it come to dentists - in particular, I'm always wary of ones who push obviously unnecessary procedures or give unsolicited referrals for no reason. Dr. Sam Tom and his staff were nothing like that. I actually did need a referral to an endodontist and his team offered to help me pick an in-network specialist they would recommend (and the doctor I ended up being referred was also fantastic!). My cleaning was thorough but I also appreciated being able to get in and out without waiting around for my cleaning or x-rays, or to see the doctor. I couldn't recommend them more and I plan to come back for my next cleaning, and I trust their expertise with any potential issues that could arise!

I love Dr. Melissa Tom! I love her so much that followed her to Uptown Dental after she left another dental establishment. Her bedside manner is wonderful and I just enjoy seeing her. Most importantly, she takes great care of my teeth! Jessica is an angel and all staff that I have encountered are great! Dr. Sammy Tom is also sweet and a great dentist , I just prefer his wife :-). 5 Stars for sure!!

Dr. Melissa Tom, Dr. Sammy Tom and their staff are absolutely amazing. Every time I have gone in for a cleaning, they are extremely thorough and informative. I had a mini dental emergency and their staff worked with me to get me seen in a timely manner. Would highly recommend!

Excellent service all around in a great dental office setup. Had a digital photo presentation at end to explain dentist thoughts etc. Professional and very good experience for my first visit after moving to the area.

Had a great experience at Uptown Dental. They replaced an old crown from a previous dentist and the quality is much better. This office seems to have the latest and greatest dental tech. Staff is super friendly!

My son attends Tulane University and recently chipped a tooth. This office had great reviews so I called. One of the Dr.'s happened to answer the phone which was very impressive. My son said that Dr. Melissa walked him through every step, was friendly, efficient and made sure that he was satisfied with the end result. Being that I live in NJ, I was most appreciative at the level of service that was provided. My son will go there again for sure.

I found uptown dental on google and they replied to my emails. Ms. Dianne was nice to get me in for an early appointment. I saw Dr. Melissa & her assistant Jess helped. The exam was thorough and explained well with my xrays. I found my new dental office. The office is also aesthetically pretty. Thanks!
