Dr. Patel is a second-generation dentist that has a true passion for what he does. He graduated from the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine and has been certified to practice dentistry by the Dental Board in Arizona, California, New Jersey, and New York. While attending Boston University, he served two terms as Vice-President of his dental school class. Early in his career, Dr. Patel spent two years working exclusively with 2-year-old children. This experience has helped Dr. Patel when it comes to easing the nerves of his patients, at any age, who have dental anxiety. On top of practicing dentistry - Dr. Patel also has teaching experience. While practicing in Los Angeles, Dr. Patel was an adjunct professor of Pre-Clinical Restorative Dentistry at the University of Southern California for two years. The Dr is horrible he needs to be replaced immediately. The effort of support for my teeth was so very poor. I only liked was the girls in the front super nice and helpful.

Don't go to this dentist HE IS SO RUDE and a BAD practitioner. Dr. Patel is the most rude person I have ever encounter. He did a filling on my frontal teeth the filling came out after 18 months I went to get it fixed. he told me he wont do it because my insurance Health First Essential Plan 4 was cheap "the poor people insurance" and they wont pay him for that work. I stated that a good filling should last more that 18 months, he became very rude almost yelling at me. and it was the worst experience ever. He shouldn't be practicing and if he does not like my insurance he just shouldn't accept me in the first place but that is not an excuse to mistreat people. Ps: if you see Dr. Patel response don't believe it he is RUDE, period, if you scroll down he has many one star reviews of people complaining of the same. I am just trying to save you the awful experience.

Hi i have been at this office many times i was very comfortable with my dental visits and procedure but on 6/18/2021 i had a minor incident i went to let them know my ins had changed and to schedule my next visit but thhis tall caramel tone short hair lady who is the new manager infront has no manners is rude and does not knows how to treat patients i wont be coming back again i will find a different dentist due to this ladies attitude and disgusting manners great doctor but terrible persona uptfront

Honestly, everyone at this dental office was so welcoming, I just went for my first visit as a new patient. I feel like everyone I interfaced with treated me as they would their friend. Overall: really great vibe, everyone is super kind and no nonsense. I was supposed to arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork & I was not there that early so I expected my appointment to be cancelled or to get an earful about how I was late -- neither of those things happened & rather I was calmly welcomed into the office. The office is a no frills, standard office - but they are so efficient I didn't even need any frills to distract me before I was back out the door! My appointment and cleaning were quick and efficient - no time wasted. Dr. Patel answered all of my questions and gave recommendations for the most conservative treatment plan, he was not interested in just selling me treatment. I am eager to return & would recommend this office to anyone who needs to feel welcomed as soon as they walk through the door, likes to avoid wasting time, and appreciates genuine light-hearted personalities. I am not a "review-writer" by nature, but felt compelled to share my thoughts after seeing a lack of reviews. This is not an office that makes you feel unwelcome/afraid.

Unfortunately I was out of network with this office, but my initial visit was nothing short of amazing! Didn't mind being self pay. That entire office from the phone call to in person was so welcoming. Caron in particular helped me understand the proper steps of my cracked tooth! She does her job so well and I appreciated that so much. I knew my teeth needed a lot of work and the doctor was so nice in breaking down cost and minimizing my payments through my crappy insurance! Overall I recommend this office for anyone who seeks immediate or long term dental care!

I just got new insurance and was going through the list of partners looking for someone to do a quick checkup late at night so I could get a referral to get my wisdom tooth removed. Late at night after all other practices were closed, they took me in with a smile, walked me through the process, and got me in a chair within 15 minutes. After a check, they brought the surgeon in, gave me a cleaning and a check and then went straight into getting my wisdom tooth removed almost painlessly! Checkup with scans, wisdom tooth pull all done in 1 hour with checkups from staff to see how I was doing. I am definitely a fan.

Ok so . I hate the dentist !!! But this dentist is sooo good I still feel the urge to post a review a few months after my service . Caron makes you feel so comfortable and works with you every step of the way !!! I was absolutely happy with the dr . He explained things to me with understanding . I was so happy after That I snatched my kids from there Previous dentist and they because new patients the very next day .I highly recommend you come to them for any of your needs!!!

I love this place! I'm so glad I ended up here. I had a terrible toothache. Had gone to another place and they didn't help me for nothing, got up and left. I arrived to uptown dental and as soon as I walked in I felt that they will be able to help me. Ms. Rodriguez was super professional and took the time to really look into verifying my insurance. I was seen and was able to have my other extracted. If it was t for her I'll still be in pain. I recommend this de tidy 100% and will be going there moving forward.

I'll tell you I had been coming here for YEARS prior to the new (male)doctor taking over. And I NEVER had a problem.. once the male doctor took over I will never come or have my children be seen here again.
