Jamiecompleted her undergraduate studies at the University of Albany, with a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry and a minor in Biology. She attended the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated Magna cum Laude with a minor in Pediatric Dentistry. She then completed a General Practice Residency at Ellis Medicineand gained proficiency in all areas of general dentistry.
Following her residency, Jamiewas honored to be accepted to a prestigious Fellowship in Dental Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering. She treated a wide variety of cancer patients, helpingthem through treatment and post treatment care.
She has worked in many capacities including several years as the Director of Dental Medicine at Wyckoff Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. She has seen many dental situations and is dedicated to providing patients with a safe and welcoming experience at the dentist.
Jamie is a member of the American Dental Association, theNew York State Dental Association and the Fourth District Dental Society.She also participates in various continuing education courses and attends lectures throughout the year.
Originally fromVoorheesville, New York,Jamie loved the smalltown atmosphere andhas captured that feelingagain in Glens Falls. Jamie looks forward to raising herchildren andbeing part of the local community for years to come.
Andrea grew up in Queensbury, the youngest of eight children. After high school at St. Mary's Academy in Glens Falls, she attended Hudson Valley Community College to earn an A.A.S. Degree and become a Dental Hygienist. In addition to working as a hygienist, she has homeschooled her four children. Andrea worked with Dr. Garrett for 21 years and is very pleased to continue with Dr. Cohn. When she is out of the office, Andrea enjoys sewing baby blankets, photography, playing tennis, reading her Bible, hiking and of course spending time with her kids.
Bobbi is an upstate NY native who graduated cum laude from Hudson Valley Community College earning a AAS in Dental Hygiene and certification in the administration of local anesthetics. Bobbi has experience in both pediatric and general dentistry. What she enjoys most about her career in dentistry is providing a patient centered approach in meeting oral health goals. She prides herself on the importance of patient education and a gentle approach. In her free time she enjoys cooking, interior design, listening to music, spending time with her loved ones and summers on Lake George.
Kristina joined the team in 2008. She received her Associate in Applied Science at SUNY Adirondack and went on to get her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene from HVCC. Kristina prides herself in forming long lasting relationships with her patients. Kristina and her husband John welcomed a healthy baby girl, Ellie, into their family in December 2019. In her free time she enjoys crossfit, baking and frequent trips to Rye, New Hampshire.
Erin is a dedicated dental assistant with years of experience in pediatrics, as well as general dentistry. On top of her hard work and bubbly presence at Upstate Family Dental, she is studying through Hudson Valley Community College to complete her licensing and become a registered DA through NYS. Erin is a Glens Falls local where she resides with her two daughters and her rescue dog Lincoln. In her free time, Erin enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors.
Annette is the friendly face at the front desk who loves to interact with patients. Her experience, training and dedication to customer service ensure every patient feels comfortable during every dental visit. Annette was born in California and has lived in Hudson Falls most of her life. Outside of work, Annette spends her time traveling and watching her daughter Alexys play on a year round travel softball team.

This practice was fantastic! I changed my dentist due to distance and I am so glad I did! Bobbi was wonderful cleaning my teeth and Dr. Cohn gave me sound advice concerning additional medical issues regarding my dental health. The front desk receptionist was so friendly and knowledgeable. I found this a great experience!

If you are fortunate enough to be recommended to Upstate Family Dental then it is your lucky day. From the moment you are seated they treat you not only with tender care, but take the time to explain everything and answer all your questions (never making you feel rushed). This was true of both Dr. Cohn and my hygienist Bobbie. Coming from a guy who has never looked forward to going to the dentist, this is a really high endorsement!

As a patient of Upstate Family Dental I can not express my appreciation and gratitude they have shown me. I needed dentures and every procedure that had to be done was explained and handled with professional care. New patient and Great experience start to finish-- almost no wait, then in for cleaning and check charts w the excellent Bobbi-- ok, the water gun is a bit loud and wet, but seemed to do a very deep clean!! (And maybe throw something on walls to stare at!) Then check and chat with the delightful Dr. Jamie, a very quick checkout and on my way-- with a new Swedish toothbrush no less! Very homey, fun kinda vibe.

Thought a Dentist couldn't get better than her predecessor Dr. Garrett but make no doubt that Dr. Jamie has got what it takes. I despise people messing with my teeth, can't stand it, but Dr. Jamie has been very impressive with her ability and skills making each appointment painless. She has my respect.

The staff are professional and friendly. I also appreciate how seriously they take COVID-19 precautions and that everyone in the office is vaccinated against COVID-19. I experience little to no discomfort during my cleaning thanks to Bobbi and Dr. Cohn's gentle approaches. Highly recommend Upstate Family Dental!

Today was my second visit with Dr. Cohn and I had to have a of couple cavities filled. I have been stressed about it since I made the appointment two months ago and it was getting increasingly worse as the time got closer. There are no amount of good things I could say about my appointment with Dr. Cohn. Despite being 28 years old with severe dental anxiety, Dr. Cohn and her whole staff were so kind, supportive, understanding and comforting from the time I stepped in the building until the time I stepped out. She explained everything that was happening during my procedure and always made time to make sure I was feeling okay. It's a good feeling to not dread going to the dentist next time! I can't thank you all enough!

Had a great experience with every staff person I encountered. The hygienist was gentle and did a great job. The dentist was sweet and made me feel comfortable. I felt only necessary recommendations were made and the hygienist focused on preventing future issues. Overall a great experience and will start going every 6 months
