Dr. Eileen Saunders is a New Jersey native. She attended Bucknell University, where she completed her undergraduate studies in biology and chemistry. In 2007, she moved to Boston to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. During her educational journey at Tufts University, Dr. Saunders discovered that she has a passion for pediatric dentistry. Dr. Saunders also completed her residency training at Tufts University, as well as hospital training at Tufts Medical Center and Franciscan Hospital for Children.
Dr. Saunders is excited to serve the children of the Upper Valley. She has hospital privileges at Alice Peck Day Hospital and Dartmouth Hospital Medical Center to serve children requiring additional treatment.
Dr. Saunders enjoys long distance running and has completed five marathons, along with several half-marathons and shorter distance courses. She enjoys spending time with her husband and her 2 golden retrievers, Rossi and Trudy. Her favorite outdoor activities include skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, biking, and running.
Dr. Saunders is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also a diplomate for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and serves as the treasurer of the Grafton-Sullivan Dental Society for the New Hampshire Dental Society. Dr. Saunders is a member of the American Dental Association.

Dr Saunders is a wonderful pediatric dentist and the other members of her team are amazing as well. Dr Saunders cares about her patients and takes the time to explain diagnoses and options. She is talented and calm with screaming babies and talkative over-excited 8 yr olds. Her office is clean and spacious and runs on time. They are very upfront about costs and fair. We feel so lucky to have Dr. Saunders in Lebanon.

Excellent dental care. My daughter loves her calm demeanor and leaves feeling so good about herself, and we've been to many other dentists that weren't a good fit for my child. She's excellent and I am so grateful for her continued care of my child.

My daughter (almost 3yo) had her first appointment with Dr. Saunders this morning, and it was her first dentist visit ever... let me just tell you, I left feeling GREAT! The staff at UV Pediatric Dentistry are so wonderful, patient and kind. I was worried that it wouldn't be the best experience since it was her first visit ever and didn't know what to expect... but it exceeded my expectations! Dr. Saunders is so comforting and I could tell my daughter felt at ease being there. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Saunders and Upper Valley Pediatric Dentistry to anyone in need of dental care for their children.

She has seen all of my kids. I have three. She has done oral surgery on two of them and dr. Saunders did an amazing job. Her techs/assistants are incredible. You can tell they love their job and they are so wonderful with kids. I haven't been the best with my kids oral hygiene and she had never made me feel judged. She taught me tricks to make it easier and more fun for the kids and myself. More than once I have had an emergency with my kids teeth or gums form falls or something and we got brought in right away. I love this place! Highly recommend them to everyone

My son has been coming here since he was two years old, and we have always been very impressed and very satisfied with the service. They have always made it a very positive experience for him and are very understanding of his anxieties. I couldn't be happier and my son always leaves happy.

Dr. Saunders and her staff are amazing!! I took my one year old to her first appointment today and had a great experience. They have the TV on as a nice distraction for your little ones which makes them feel more comforted. I also did not feel rushed, and Dr. Saunders took the time to answer all of my questions and she explained everything that she was doing during the appointment.They are all so patient and kind, I HIGHLY recommend UVPD!! Thank you for such a great first experience!!!

So my 5 year old son Theo doesn't do well with anyone going near his mouth and teeth. So much so that taking him to the dentist is pointless because they can't even get x-rays let alone putting a probe in his mouth. Well this led us to him needing to be put under in order to make dental repairs. Now our older son went thru this so we had prepared for the worst, instead we got something we weren't prepared for. The entire team was so engaged with my son he barely realized what was going on and was completely at ease. And as good as that was they took away my anxiety which I can honestly say was off the chart. I cant thank everyone enough. I also need to add the care team didn't stop after the procedure was over. No, they called my phone several hours later to check on me and my son. Overall the care and concern shown to me and my son was amazing and I honestly can't think where anything could be improved on. Great job everyone!!! A true 10 stars in my book
