Welcome to Upland Smile Design! Since 2013, our dentist and team have been providing high-quality, personalized care to patients ages 4 and up. We are dedicated to helping you and your family enjoy healthy, beautiful smiles, and we offer a full range of dental services to meet your needs, including dental crowns, Invisalign clear aligners, dental fillings, preventive care and root canal therapy. When you visit our practice, we will take the time to make sure that you are comfortable, that you understand your treatment options and that the care you receive is tailored to your individual needs.
Dr. Brian Wegley is a longtime resident of Upland, California. He received his undergraduate degree from UCSC and then attended dental school at New York University. He then completed a dental residency at Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. He enjoys serving our community and takes tremendous pride in his work. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and appreciates that he can boost his patients health and confidence with his profession. He also enjoys building relationships with his patients and being an active member of his community.
He has a conservative approach to his treatment philosophy and listens to his patients needs and desires regarding their oral health. He has a great team that has been associated with the practice for a very long time.
He married the girl of his dreams, and he and his wife have an amazing son, Rex. With an infant child, Dr. Wegley does not have much free time, but when he does, he enjoys playing sports and taking trips with his family.
Dr. Wegley stays current on the ever-changing field of dentistry. He attends several CE courses and conferences throughout the year. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the Tri-County Dental Society, and he has been a member of the SPEAR Study Club for several years now. His study club is a select group of practitioners and specialists who meet monthly and discuss a wide variety of topics.
Our experienced dentist and team at Upland Smile Design are dedicated to providing quality care for patients ages 4 and older. When you visit our office, we will take the time to build a personal relationship with you and help you feel at ease, as well as working to understand your oral health needs and provide you with treatments that will help you enjoy a healthy smile for a lifetime.

Amanda did a great job today and was very open with strategies to improve my dental health! Dr Wegley was thorough in his exam and very friendly and professional! The office atmosphere was very clean and orderly from the time you enter where Vivian welcomes you and takes care of the business end of your visit with a smile and an efficient manner! We miss Dr Greenwood but are very impressed with the way Dr Wegley is carrying on!

Dr Wegley is amazing! He is more than a dentist he is a problem solver. He goes out of his way to examine your teeth snd comes up with solutions and options to solve your teeth problems. For example I had TMJ that caused me the worst migraines and my front teeth did not show when I smiled. They wanted yo do Orthonastic surgery which required breaking my jaw and putting screws and nuts in and I could loose feeling in my bottom lip. Dr Wegley came up with a better plan and opened my vertical space of my mouth by making my top back teeth bigger with crowns which was the life saver of my Migraines and TMJ. Ever since Dr Wegley replaced my back teeth with bigger and longer crowns I have not had one migraine! Plus by opening my vertical space my front teeth show when I smile now. I'm so pleased with the work they do at Dr Wegley's. Next we are working on my loss gum tissues in the front of my bottom teeth by bonding the teeth . My son had tiny front teeth that he ground down from grinding his teeth and Dr Wegley made him beautiful vineers. You can't even tell he had front teeth vineers. The cleanings are super through. Ultrasonic plus scraping. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to your schedule to make appointments. Billing is always correct and they courtesy bill insurance . I am so thankful for Dr. Wegley he is a life saver for my mouth.

Dr. Wegley is a fantastic dentist. He is very calming as is his staff. I just finished 7 crowns, a root canal, and a filling. I'm 75 and have a great smile thanks to Brian Wegley.

I switched to this practice a couple years ago, and I am still very happy with my choice. The hygienists are very thorough, and Dr. Wegley is efficient and kind. I never have to wait more than 5 minutes for my appointment to start, which was never the case with my past dentists. I feel like my concerns are heard and taken seriously if I ever have questions about my teeth. My toddler had started coming here as well and they are excellent with kids too.

Doctor Wegley is a great dentist. He's very thorough and doesn't, like most doctors, rush in and out of the room. He genuinely cares, and it shows. Hygienist Joanne is great too. She is also very thorough, and a pain free experience every time. All of the office employees are always courteous and professional.
