Every patient is assigned to a primary care provider that oversees the patients care by working with a team of clinicians. The main purpose of the primary care department is to keep patients healthy and address all of their medical and social service needs.

Jagdeep (Jay) Trivedi brings over twenty years of administrative leadership experience in medical device startups, managed care and alternative payment strategies. Jay began at Uphams Corner Health Committee (UCHC) in 2004 as the Operations Director of the Uphams Elder Service Plan, a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) and since January 2016, has been serving as the Chief Executive Officer. He sits on the board of The Massachusetts League of Community Health Center, as well as being a board member of Boston HealthNet Corporation and others. He was also awarded the 2014 Community Service Award from the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers.

Kevin Cherry joined Uphams Corner Health Center in 2021 to assume responsibility for the organizations financial health and management. He arrived with a wealth of experience from Boston-area banking, consulting, education, and public health sectors, where he honed a specialization in educational and charitable funding, finances, and operational management. In recent years, he has held CFO roles at the Boston Renaissance Charter School, South End Community Health Center, and St. Marys High School in Lynn, Mass.

Kevin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Clark University, where he is also a member of the Board of Trustees. In addition, he has been on the boards of several Boston-area nonprofits and community organizations.

Dr. Paul Geltman brings over 25 years of experience to Uphams Corner as the health centers first CMO. Dr. Geltman started his career right here at Uphams Corner and then served at the Whittier Street Health Center and then Cambridge Health Alliance. Most recently, he was Medical Director of Ambulatory Care Services at Franciscan Childrens Hospital in Brighton, MA. Over the course of his career, he has become a nationally recognized expert on immigrant and refugee health issues.

After graduating from Princeton University, Dr. Geltman received his M.D. and M.P.H. degrees from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He completed his pediatric residency at the Floating Hospital for Children (Tufts Medical Center) and then a post-doctoral fellowship in child advocacy and community pediatrics with a focus on immigrant and refugee health at Boston Medical Center. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics.

With over 50 publications to his name, Dr. Geltman is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Boston University School of Medicine and of Health Policy and Health Services Research at BUs Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. In addition, he is the Medical Director for Refugee Health in the Division of Global Populations and Infectious Disease Prevention at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.

Nicole joined Uphams Corner Health Committee, Inc., in January 2019. Nicole is responsible for overseeing human resources operations, employee rewards & recognition, talent acquisition, employee relations matters and payroll functions for all 3 divisions of Uphams Corner Health Committee, Inc.

Since arriving at the health center, she has brought on new employee benefits, implemented competitive staff salaries, created an employee of the month program and rolled out a new HRIS, payroll and applicant tracking system.

Nancy joined the Uphams Elder Service Plan in March 2016. In September 2018, she assumed the role of PACE Program Director. Her primary responsibilities include oversight and management of PACE clinical and operation staff, ensuring program integrity, and safeguarding the mission of the program. Nancy works closely with the PACE leadership team to identify strategic and business opportunities. Together they set the annual goals for the program.

Nancy is also responsible for representing PACE at the UCHC corporate level and is the key contact for both the State and Federal regulators. Nancy has a thirty five year professional history working in healthcare; her interest and experience has been operational oversight of programs caring for elders and persons with disabilities. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science. In addition, she holds an English as a Second Language degree and certification.

Prior to joining UCHC, she held several direct care and leadership positions including Head Nurse, Temple University Hospital; Research Nurse, Columbia University Hospital; MCH Nurse, Boston City Hospital; and Public Health Supervisor, Copan, Honduras (Peace Corps). Eileen has a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Health Administration and a Master of Science in Nursing, Adult Health, both from Columbia University.

Maryellen oversees the health center operations in collaboration with the entire leadership team to provide efficient, patient-focused, accountable, and compliant processes and systems to support the provision of services to UCHC patients seeking primary, urgent, specialty, including eye and dental care and womens health at UCHC health centers.

Maryellen has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts. She has over 20 years of professional experience working in health care settings including operations, patient and member services, call center management and compliance at Commonwealth Care Alliance and East Boston Neighborhood Health Center.

I bring my son for Dental and they were so great with him. Now he brushes 3 times without me asking. Front desk was nice and it was very clean everyone had mask. I like them and it's not my last time bringing him.

Worst place ever they don't respect patients I had a 2 o'clock appointment today the doctor didn't call my name until 2:30 but if you're like 10 minutes late they won't see you but they can make customers wait for half an hour an hour just to be seen And this is not the first time this has happenedI already call the department and make my complain and I'm going to switch my clinic don't ever go there and when you talk your the bad guy

I give them one star because I was going to the for 20 years they never can find anything out when I went into urgent care the gave me a lot of maybe& possibilities and they would have to go get a book & read from a book of what they thought to the point I would just go to the emergency room and they would solve the problem right away. Also there were times you would sit in that waiting room for up to 4 hours waiting to be seen I was diagnosed wrong many times, when I went to the emergency room they right the wrong also many time I was sick for like a week missing work going there several times and not being diagnosed at all and when I went to the emergency room they diagnosed me right away I went through that for many years. Finally, two years ago I changed my Dr. and the health Center I have not had that problem since.

Terrible will have you on hold for long period. Unprofessional ,doctors always on leave for long time period. I have called and was put on hold for more 20 minutes to shecdule dentist for my child. Workers are rude and not tranied properly .
