Dr. Erica (Vorst) Unverferth was born and raised in Putnam County, Ohio. She graduated from Ottoville High School in 2007. She continued her education at The Ohio State University. In 2011, she graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resource Management while also receiving a Life Sciences minor. She then continued to The Ohio State University College of Dentistry where she graduated cum laude with a D.D.S. in 2015.

Dr. Unverferth currently lives in Kalida, Ohio with her husband, Tony. Tony currently works at Vantage Career Center, so they enjoy being involved in the Van Wert Community. They have 4 children together: Trey, Kinley, Isla, and Bode. When not chasing after her children, Dr.Unverferth enjoys the outdoors, cooking, and discovering new places. She enjoys watching and playing almost any sport, especially if it involves her beloved Ohio State Buckeyes.

Dr.Unverferth believes in making your dental experience as comfortable as possible. She prides herself on being thorough and compassionate while providing optimal dental care. She has taken pride in continuing her education through numerous CE opportunities. She feels staying up to date with the latest education, research, and technology enables her to provide her patients with the highest level of care. Dentistry is her passion and she is excited and grateful to share that with her patients every day.

Kerry Laudick is a Registered Dental Hygienist in our office for the past 25 years. She has worked in this office since she graduated from Lima Technical College in 1990 where she received her Associate of Applied Science degree in dental hygiene. She also graduated from Wayne Trace High School but now enjoys being a Kalida Wildcat. Kerry and her husband Brian have three children: Laine, Grant, and Lauren. During her spare time, Kerry is engaged in supporting her childrens sporting and music events. On top of that, she utilizes precious time at home by cooking meals and enjoying her family, including their pets.

Chelsea Reindel has been a Registered Dental Hygienist in our office since 2004 when she graduated from Rhoades State College. Immediately following her graduation she started working in this office for Dr.Okuley. Chelsea is a local girl who didnt venture far from home. She is a 2001 Lincolnview graduate and grew up in the Middle Point area. She still resides outside of Middle Point with her husband Cory and their two daughters, Harper and Hanley. In her free time Chelsea enjoys antique shopping, running, and spending time with her family at their pond. She has an insatiable appetite for reading and loves her books.

Chelsea has a passion for dental hygiene and a love for her patients. In her mind, getting to know her patients and having a good relationship with them is priceless. She truly loves her profession and her dental team. She began her career in this office and cannot wait to spend many more years helping to treat the community of Van Wert.

Charla is happy to be a part of the Unverferth Family Dentistry team. She has served a dual role in our office as a Dental Assistant and a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2014. She is a graduate of Lincolnview High School and received her dental hygiene degree from Lima Tehnical College in 1992. She has spent most of her time practicing hygiene in Louisville, KY but is glad to be back in her hometown.

With a longtime interest in the health-related fields, Stacey originally began her lifes work as a medical assistant. Once graduating from Lincolnview High School, Stacey continued her education at Northwestern University (now known as UNOH). While there, she earned her Associate Degree in Applied Business in medical assisting, then went on to fulfill her passion of helping people feel well again. After several moves (and a few children) later, the opportunity arose for her to start an at-home medical transcription business. 10 years later, changes in the medical transcription world had her searching for a new career path. Enter the dental industryStacey joined the staff of Okuley Dentistry in 2014 as part of the front office staff. Now, as a staff member of Unverferth Family Dentistry, she serves as a floater working the front desk, helping out in the financial department, and working as a dental assistant in the back. Stacey thinks change is good and is excited about all the new opportunities. Another great passion of Staceys is family. Stacey married her high school sweetheart, Jeff. They have 5 children; Colton, Madeline, Victoria, Olivia, and Willow. When shes not attending a school program or sporting event, she enjoys interior design and party planning.

Ally is a Lincolnview graduate and later earned a dual degree in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Northwestern Ohio. Ally and her husband, Anthony, have two children: Kamden and Emersyn. Ally enjoys spending time with her family, crafting and photography.

Taylor Whitcraft is a dental assistant in our office and is happy to have found her place in the healthcare world here. She is enrolled in the Medical Office Management program at UNOH and plans to use her knowledge in many aspects of our office. She likes spending her time doing anything that involves the outdoors, riding motorcycles, traveling to Tennessee, and spending time with her dogs.
