I wish I could give less than 1 star. We were referred to Dr. John Farnham to have my daughters wisdom teeth removed, everything seemed fine at first we had them removed on the 27th of September a few days later she was still in lots of pain so first thing Monday October 3rd we went in the office for them to check her. They treated her as if she had a dry socket but said everything looked good. We left and went home after a couple hours she was running a temp I gave her Tylenol to get down. Later that night she was worse we went to the er they gave her iv fluids and meds sent us home. October 5th we went back to the er and they admitted her, fevers nausea and vomiting. There were 2 different teams of doctors that came they did x-rays and CT scan it showed signs of a abscess. October 7th Dr Farnham came and said there was nothing wrong with her the fever, pain and everything that was going on was not related to the surgery but the team of doctors, her blood work as well as other tests show it is all a result of the oral surgery. He was very rude and arrogant to us when he came to the hospital and as of today October 13th we are still running fevers and having issues with this but now we are at children's hospital. Please beware of this dentist and do youre research before you use him or anyone at this practice. I would hate to see you're child end up with the issues that mine is having.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Everyone that works here is absolutely amazing! Very helpful and happy to answer any questions! My daughter had 4 wisdom teeth extracted today. We were in and out in less than 2 hours! Dr. came and spoke with me after surgery and she was ready to go shortly after. Everything went so smoothly and they've called twice just to check on us and make sure we didn't have any questions and/or concerns. Highly recommend!

Just a warning to people. Be sure to read what you sign there. they quietly slide a private contract into the paperwork so they aren't bound by any insurance company they don't like. Apparently they prefer to do this rather than just posting the fact that they don't want senior citizens that are on Medicare or low income patients. Alabama at it's finest.

Had to get a wisdom tooth pulled at 9 weeks pregnant. The oral surgeon was very dilligent in making sure he did everything to make sure baby would be okay. Not gonna lie, recovery sucked without medication but baby is perfectly fine. <3

5 Stars doesn't even come close on the rating I want to give University Oral and Facial Surgery and Dr. John Farnham and the staff! They are truly amazing! My daughter goes to school in Alabama and I am in Arizona so when she woke up with a possible infection post wisdom teeth surgery (in Arizona) I was lost on where to go. Worried and trying to be strong for her, I searched for an oral surgeon that was nearby and thankfully I called Univ Oral and Facial Surgey! From the first call to the end of her visit everyone was wonderful! Thank you for making my daughter feel at ease and from 1,500 miles away making this mom feel confident about her care! Thank you Dr. Farnham...you are a blessing! RollTide!

Dr. Link extracted four wisdom teeth for me, and he did an excellent job! I have zero complaints about this group and will return in the future if I need to!

The person working the front desk didn't inform me of any costs other than the consultation fee which led to me spending four times the cost she said after the consultation was over and my scans completed. Horrible

Everyone from staff to doctors were very professional from the time I entered the office and they were very efficient. My appointment was on time and the procedure was performed as promised. I highly recommend them.

I was treated very well by Dr Link and all of the staff here. They were all following COVID-19 guidelines. Every question was answered before I left the office so that my treatment will go smooth.

Simply a horrible experience. First they lied to me twice. They really are just uncaring and the doctor Link laughed in my face when I told him about my long-term medical condition. At first I thought he was laughing about something else, but was clear. He seems to think my terminal disease that has been confirmed by two of the best neurological groups in the US is a joke. He changed my oral surgery without discussion, so I would need to come back for a second. And in my "unique " case should not have any care for pain. Now I have to suffer through his malpractice. Simply, don't go! He should have just stopped before he ever started cutting on me.

This group is made up of pure, helpful, friendly professionals. From the lady taking temps at the front door, through to the nurses, receptionists, all the way to Dr. Carlson, 100% solid!

I was totally overcharged for two extractions that was coded as surgical but was actually just regular pulled teeth. Charged 640.00 dollars for two extractions. On top of 95.00 dollars for exam and 20.00 for masks and gloves. Said it was because of covid 19. Absolutely the worst place to get teeth pulled,as far as cost is concerned and no sympathy for people who are struggling financially due to covid 19. .

Dr. Crawford and his staff were so friendly and made my experience so comfortable!! I have severe dental anxiety and the staff were so helpful and accommodating to my needs!!! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an oral surgeon!!
