Dr. Diaz is certified in nitrous oxide sedation and continually seeks out a variety of advanced training opportunities. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the Florida Dental Association.
Dr. Fitzgerald attends over 100 hours of continuing education every year in order to stay up-to-date on the newest technology and techniques in dentistry, providing the highest level of care to his patients. Upon graduating dental school, Dr. Fitzgerald received the American Academy of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Senior Dental Implant Award, as well as the Academy of General Dentistry Senior Award. Dr. Fitzgerald has achieved his Fellowship Certification in the International Congress of Oral Implantology, as well as passed the Fellowship Exam for Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Fitzgerald is also a Scholar and Alumni of the Dawson Academy, which has given him a strong foundation to treat TMJ disorders, as well as other bite (occlusion) and smile design needs of his patients. Other affiliations are with the Academy of Laser Dentistry (Standard Proficiency Certification), Atlantic Coast Dental Research Clinic participant, and Spear Education. Dr. Fitzgerald also participates as an adjunct faculty member at the Old Dominion University Dental Hygiene Clinic.
During his time at the University of Florida, Dr. Fitzgerald participated as a Varsity Cheerleader, studying Exercise Physiology and Kinesiology. He also went on to Sydney, Australia, to be a personal trainer for six months. Originally from the panhandle of Florida, Dr. Fitzgerald is happy to live closer to his family in Virginia.
In his free time, Dr. Fitzgerald enjoys staying physically fit through activities such as wakeboarding, paddle boarding, mountain biking, scuba/free diving, and fishing. He also loves volunteering at the ADA Mission of Mercy event and Park Place Dental Clinic in Norfolk. On Saturdays in the fall, you can always count on Dr. Fitzgerald to be watching some great college football, and in the summer, you can find him anywhere near the water or on the beach!

I needed to be seen immediately for a bad toothache. I called they were booked but offered to reach out if there was a cancelation. They reached out, took me right in and eventhough they couldn't do the extraction due to my health, they set me up with an office that could and provided the necessary medications to help. Great office, everyone is super friendly, definitely recommend.

Everyone was professional, nice, and were patient with all of my questions! Would definitely recommend anyone looking for a dentist in a Gainesville to come here. It was a 6 month new patient waiting list when I made my appointment but it was worth it, especially given my poor experience with my previous dentist.

Absolutely amazing! I highly recommend this dental practice. Extremely thorough, kind, compassionate, eased my anxiety and spent quality time explaining and putting together a plan of action. What I also appreciated was their honesty and integrity. It wasn't about how much can we get her to spend. It was about the patients quality of care. Thank you so much! Great dentist!!! They were kind, professional, and made my experience far less stressful than I was expecting from a first time dentist visit! They explained everything they were doing and even showed me what just what my planned procedure was and how it they would do it! For once I think I'm actually excited for my next appointment, hahah!

I would not recommend this place to my enemy I made an appointment over a month ago and when I got to my appointment they said that they had been trying to reach me to reschedule but I never received a call nor a voicemail. Then I'm waiting to see what they can do and they come back with they don't try take my insurance after I gave them ALL MY INSURANCE INFO when I made the appointment this all the day before my son's funeral

I've always hated the going to the dentist, but not this dentist. They answered all of my questions and actually showed and explained to me what they were doing. If you have anxiety, I'd definitely recommend this office; they listen and they care.
