I went to UDA Dental (3712 Lawndale Dr., Suite D, Greensboro, NC 27455) on February 2, 2002, for a regular, insurance-covered cleaning service, and Hygienist Brittany Puckett pushed me to do a deep cleaning. I asked her to finish the two regular cleaning first and then do the deep cleaning. She told me that we should do the deep cleaning first, and then use the two free regular cleaning services covered by the insurance.--It turned out that this was misleading, because after the deep cleaning, I would not get the free cleaning services from the insurance (see below). The estimated charges out of pocket for the deep cleaning were a total of $515.4 (i.e., $261.40 for the right half, and $254 for the left half). Since I worked with UDA for the past four years, and trusted her, I decided to follow her suggestions, which began a nightmare. In fact, before I agreed to take the deep cleaning services, I double checked with them (i.e., the hygienist and a person from the accounting office there at UDA) to ensure that these would be all the payments for the deep cleaning, and they confirmed. Again, the nightmare started from there: For the right half of my teeth, Hygienist Brittany Puckett took 15 minutes to do the deep cleaning. Although it was too short of a time and the hygienist got distracted by a few questions from a nurse during the operation, she at least did some deep cleaning that time. I paid the $261.40 fee afterwards. However, one week later (Feb. 9, 2022), the hygienist only spent 9 minutes on the left half. This time was not a deep cleaning. She just did something similar to a regular cleaning, without going deeper to the gums.--There was no bleeding after the so-called "deep cleaning"!--I paid the $254 fee as promised. Notably, in both visits, Dentist Santiya Bell did not come to check the work done by the hygienist prior to my dismissal. To let the dentist and the hygienist know my dissatisfaction, I left a detailed complaint on the internal survey provided by University Dental Associates. Nonetheless, my feedback was apparently ignored, because nobody contacted me or responded to my complaint. Three months later, when I showed up for the regular cleaning services that were supposed to be covered by the insurance, two things occurred: (1) The lady at the front desk told me that my insurance declined the claims for the two deep cleaning, and I now owe them an additional $483 (on top of the $515.4 I have already paid); and (2) I will need to pay an additional $102.5 for each of these regular cleaning services, because the insurance would view these two cleaning services as maintaining services after the deep cleaning, which is different from what the hygienist told me when she pushed me to do the deep cleaning! I was really mad, and left UDA. I would like to share this horrible experience so that others will not become a victim!

I have been to the Dentist from coast to coast but UDA Greensboro staff make it all about you the service is great. This was my best experience Bar None with Dental Care. They make you feel at ease with the process to get the care you need and feel the personal attention they provide "Just Stellar Service".

Brittany is nothing more than a bad sales person. I went in for a cleaning. I left with $300 in x-rays and an insane price list. She literally refused to clean my teeth. Unless I was willing to begin a deep cleaning for thousands of dollars. Her demeanor was just plain rude and unprofessional. I will never return. I will however post reviews all over the web. Thieves!

Never a wait here and they are very thorough with cleanings. Delta Dental insurance pays for the cleanings. There are also quick when it comes time for other procedures. Since it's just Dr. Bell now, they are scheduled out a bit.

Very bad experience they dont listen to important information that is life threatening, like you are on blood thinners and have cancer, went for a cleaning basic that they said they would do over the phone bullied into numerous xrays as a cancer patient i really didnt want and tried to scare me about my gums that have had the same readings for 25 years, the bone doesnt grow back said they couldn't clean my teeth only do a 1200 gum procedure that would put my life in danger since my plattlets are low, never asked what chemotherapy i took or blood thinners, left 300 dollars poorer feeling bullied, please dont go, now i have to go to the denist and get a basic cleaning like my oncologist gave approval for.

Very good initial visit. My hygienist Carson was very pleasant, professional and did a excellent job cleaning. Dr. Manchego found issues in my mouth that should have been taken care of years ago.

I personally do not recommend that people bring their business to this establishment. I'm not going into details of my personal experience, but I think the service and individuals who work here an extremely unprofessional and rude. I have nothing good to say about this place. Take your business and referrals somewhere that values their customers and your money. I would give no stars if I could.

They have a staff that is knowledgeable as well as friendly. They a courteous and their hygienist Brittany made me feel very comfortable, she talked with me throughout the entire process and said, "Hey this might be a little bit uncomfortable." and "Are you ok? Do you feel any pain?" These ladies are awesome! Dr. Bell was amazing The receptionist and assistants were attentive from the moment I walked in. I highly recommend them.
