As a child, Erin knew she wanted to be in a profession that involved helping people. She has always been interested in science and was a participant in the international science fair twice. Erin knew she wanted to be a dentist in 2002 when she worked at the LSU dental school out-patient clinic as a lab assistant. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Tulane University. While at Tulane, she had two research projects published, as well as research that was patented. Dr. Steib graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry with honors in 2009. She and her husband Brad have two beautiful children that keep them busy and entertained. Friends, family and patients describe her as compassionate, warm, and friendly, and she is a self-described perfectionist. When not practicing dentistry, this busy mom enjoys shopping, attending church, going to the movies, dining out, entertaining family and friends, and most importantly, being a wife and mother.
With over 13 years of experience in the dental field as a Registered Dental Assistant, Michelle has had the pleasure of making peoples smiles come to life. She takes pride in providing patients with a relaxed and comfortable environment from the moment they walk in until the moment they leave. The most rewarding part of her day is empowering patients to take control of their dental care and seeing them with confident, healthy smiles after treatment. Her own beautiful smile and understanding nature make it easy for patients to feel comfortable with her. Michelle has two amazing sons who keep her busy with school activities and fun board games. She loves to build forts with them and enjoy movie nights together.
Sheila was born and raised in Brenham and moved to the Houston area in 2004. She has been an active part of the dental field for since 1998. She started as a Dental Assistant where she quickly became passionate about dentistry. Her passion inspired her to further her education by becoming a Dental Hygienist. She is involved with multiple dental hygiene study groups in order to stay current in the field. Sheilas favorite part of her job is providing patients the experience of good dental care and the feeling of a great smile. She loves getting to know her patients and building longterm relationships. She enjoys hanging out with her husband and dogs, reading, watching movies, baking, and traveling.
Although we believe you should always keep your teeth as clean as possible, teeth whitening is a simple, quick fix if you are embarrassed by the outward appearance of your smile. It is optimal for us to complete our whitening services on teeth that are in good condition, and we strongly recommend that you take your oral health seriously with regular brushing, flossing and checkups.

This is a Blessed family oriented environment with a husband and wife team very nice and experienced, Love the Professionalism and office is well kept and very nice. My experience from the time I met them has been excellent! Very nice employee, I'm so Thankful and Blessed for this wonderful office!

Been coming to US for a year now. Service has always been great but they were rock stars today! I was experiencing the worst pain I ever felt and needed a tooth pulled. I walked in and they just took care of me. Everyone was so nice and caring.

I absolutely love this place. The office staff is so friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming, especially Michelle. The dentists are top notch and provide excellent dental care. I can't say enough great things about Universal Smiles!

I loved the way the Doctors and staff at Universal Smiles thoroughly explain each step of the procedure. The root canal was completed quickly and I feel educated about the process. It was such a comfortable experience that I found myself wanting to take a nap. Lol The chairs are that comfortable! This is the only dentist your kid will beg you to make an appointment with.

Went in for a routine cleaning today. As usual, they were friendly, nice and professional. They called me a little before my appointment and told me they were ahead of schedule, and could get me in a little earlier if I chose. When I got there they immediately got me back in the room and got started. No waiting! The cleaning and examination were thorough. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

All of the ladies that work here are very lovely, informative, and conscientious of making sure you are comfortable. They were helpful with any questions I had as well as providing referrals for wisdom teeth removal and Invisalign. Their equipment/tools were very updated and patient friendly. They were very efficient as well without feeling rushed. Overall one of the best experiences I've had at any dentist.

I want to start out by saying I have lived in 7 different cities in the last 10 years and have had to find dentists all over . I have 13 fillings so I have had my fair share of work done. This is one of the few places that I have not left in pain after cleanings, and the numbing injection during my recent crown work was the most painless experience I have had. Not only that, they were extremely accommodating to get me in the same day that I needed a crown adjustment. Great job all around and I would recommend them for sure

The staff at Universal Smiles was wonderful! They got me in quickly as a new patient, their office was beautiful and clean, all the staff were friendly and kind, and they didn't hesitate to help correct a dental issue from the poor work of my previous dentist (poorly seated crown that was leaking). If you are in the Cypress, Hockley, Prairie View area and need a dentist, run, don't walk, to Universal Smiles!

Staff are all wonderful. Client experience is top priority. I've always had a bad feeling about going to the dentist because of previous experiences but I was actually very at ease after my visit. So glad I followed the recommendation to go there.

Visited several times due to my never-ending story with my teeth, and every visit as pleasant as possible in such situations) All people here are professionals and great in what they are doing, they are keen to find what is the root of the problem, and fix it. Definitely recommend a visit. PS: also, they won't make you wait: if it's 11:00 - it's 11:00. Like this too.
