Great job today! I was late bur you waited for me to get there. I appreciate all of you so much. Hugs, Carla King Today,, 22 Jul 2021, I went in to have my front 4 upper crowns replaced. Dr Najjar is just so amazing. One crown the doctor knew had a bad cavity. The other 3 I was replacing so they would all match in terms of the same product used and the shade of the teeth. Dr. Najjar found 2 a cavity under 2 other crowns when he took off the old crowns. He constantly asks if you're okay. He gave enough novacain so that I couldn't feel a thing. He's quite gentle and he really cares about what I think. He constantly ask of I like the shade, am I comfortable, etc. I got really cold after he had left and I mentioned it to Rico, the dental assistant. Immediately Rico got me a blanket. So then Rico had to make the 4 temporary teeth. They look so great. Rico sanded them to perfection. No rough edges. But they look amazing. When I walked in my office I smiled n a coworker asked, Are those the permanent teeth? They look really good. I said, No! These are the temporary ones! They look beautiful right? So thank you Dr. Najjar for always being so caring and such a great dentist. I wish I had found you 18 yrs ago when I retired from the Air Force. If you're looking for a great dentist....Dr. Najjar is the Man! Thank you everyone at Universal Dental. You all make my day whenever there's a problem. Best dentistry staff in San Antonio TX. My dentist of 13 yrs disappeared when covid hit so I needed a new dentist. I've been there twice to get teeth cleaned and new crown. The front desk assistant was vety nice and she got me in fast. I really appreciated that. Place is beautiful n really clean. Dr. Najjar is amazing and very nice and the dental techs Torry and Avery were sharp and super sweet. Darlene cleaned my teeth. She gave me more education on taking care of my teeth than I've ever had...super nice. I highly recommend these super professionals. One more thing....i was really cold when Dr Najjar was about to start working on my mouth for hours and I said to one of the techs, it's freezing in here. Omgoodness....they grab a blanket out of a drawer and put it over me! Mic drop.

Very friendly set up my cleaning called my insurance to get deductible figured out. I wasn't as anxious once I had a plan of treatment.

Outstanding in every way. Pain free visit with awesome results. Staff is friendly and did all the groundwork to make the most of our insurance. Kept spouse informed every step of the procedure and anxiety reduced to zero. So thankful I found this dentist.

Very friendly and patient. Got fillings done and I'm not good with shots. They numbed the area before doing shots so I couldn't feel it and accommodated for my nervousness. Did a cleaning too and it was good service:).

I just want to say WOOOW! Fantastic all around! Never have I ever been to a dentist where they are super friendly and caring. There was no rushing to get me in and out. Dr. Cortez was amazing! I felt no pain during the procedure. Which I have never experienced before when going to the dentist. Monica was so kind to me the whole visit as well. Everyone was so kind I am truly shocked. Thank you universal dental for having such an amazing staff. I am truly grateful to finally have a good experience at the dentist.

Red flag # 1: place smells like a vet clinic Red flag # 2: sat in reclining chair to have my teeth cleaned and I see brown stains all over the ceiling. Obviously water damage from a roof leak that has not been fixed (do they not have the money to fix it, or they just don't care?) Red flag # 3: just needed my 6 month teeth cleaning. Nothing hurts, no gum issues, nothing; just want to have my teeth cleaned. Dr. Tells me he wants to remove a molar and put an implant, remove all my old fillings (which are giving me no trouble) and put crowns (4 total). Work estimate ~$9800. Are you kidding me? I am not paying to fix their roof/ceilings. Not going back there ever again.

I called with an issue of a cracked tooth. The team took me in same day and took care of me. I am so grateful and appreciative of them helping me regardless of the inconvenience of it being last minute. I know they had so much to do but they really made me feel cared for and they were so funny and amazing. Front office staff, dental staff, everyone I talked to were professional and very nice. Thank you guys again!

Called universal dental because my tooth was bothering me. They got me right in and not only took care of the problem tooth, they went over dental implants for me. The staff were friendly and helpful, since I am handicapped. Looking forward to getting all my dental needs taken care of by them. Would highly recommend them to friend's and family.

Congratulations you lost a client. Went in for a cleaning and the hygienist broke my bottom permanent retainer. I told them something was wrong and they told me no it was fine. Days later my permanent retainer snapped off. Asked if they could fix it and the dentist refused to fix it. Told me my orthodontist should fix it for free. Who has ever heard of getting something fixed for free when broken by someone else? After speaking to Eileen she said they would cover the cost if I was charged. Booked my appointment to get it fixed along with the price... $135 just to fix something that wasn't broken before my cleaning. Spoke to Eileen a week ago and she told me she would call me back. Never happened. Reached out several times and she is now conveniently unavailable and not returning my calls. Terrible customer service. Take ownership of your mistake and correct your actions. If you're unable to cover the charge you should call the client to let them know or even fix it yourself like I first asked. They don't care about the person in the seat only the money they are collecting from you. Also they tried to charge me for a no call no show fee from almost a year ago when I called and canceled ahead of time and never received a letter in the mail about a balance being owed.

From the second I walked out from my first appointment I knew that this would become my regular dentist. The staff were very welcoming and the place was spotless! I'm usually nervous to go to the dentist, but this place put me at ease. My dentist Dr. Cortez was very patient and answered all of my questions in full detail. I will definitely be returning for my next cleaning!
