Dr. Rivera earned a Dental Medicine Doctor Degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated with clinical honors. Furthermore, she was recognized with the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Student Award of Merit for her outstanding achievement in the pursuit of excellence in the undergraduate study of Esthetic Dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania among 130 classmates. Also, in 1999, Dr. Rivera earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the 'Universidad Javeriana' one of the most prestigious universities in Colombia.
Dr. Rivera has completed continuing education in Invisalign, cosmetic dentistry, interceptive orthodontics, implant dentistry, and laser dentistry. Dr. Rivera is Invisalign, laser, and nitrous oxide certified; besides, she is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the Academy of Laser Dentistry.
