DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY, THEY'RE SCAMMERS! I STILL HAVE A CREDIT IN THEIR ACCOUNT AND EVERYONE IS CLUELESS ON HOW TO ISSUE ME A REFUND. I CONTACTED THEM SINCE LAST YEAR AND NO ONE BOTHER TO HELP. THIS IS A WARNING TOO ALL!!

I purchased the whitening, exam, and X-ray package on Groupon. When I arrived they told me I needed a deep cleaning, that I had gum disease, and that I needed two cavities filled before they could proceed with what was included in the Groupon. I could not afford to pay what they were asking for. When I went back to my dentist. I was told my teeth were just fine and I just needed a regular cleaning.

Very disappointing. I had an appointment at 11 on Tuesday. Never got any appointment reminders, called several times before going in to confirm but noone answered, came to the office at the appointment time and the office is closed. Noone called to tell me the office will be closed and to reschedule. We all are busy and have to take the time out to make it to the appointments. Very unprofessional.

CAUTION DO NOT GET ANY DENTAL SERVICES AT THE ELLICOTT CITY MARYLAND LOCATION AT : 10035 Baltimore National Pike #320, Ellicott City, MD 21042 , for the following reason's ; Very dissatisfied with the staff there for being rude also disrespectful, furthermore, I'm still waiting for my $350 refund, just might have to take them to court. To clarify, a simple courtesy call on the status of my product would have gone a long way but to call my cell phone and tell me that my NY BS is doing to much? Keep in mind, this is your review, not mine.

I went in for the second time today from a GROUPON DEAL I had purchased. The receptionist Nicole and Tres both of them are very friendly, nice and called me by name. Even though I was running about 10 mins late each time (not planned) of course I called , but they were nice and accommodating and didn't cancel the appointment or reschedule it. They treated me with warmth and respect. I feel like the doctor and the dental hygienist were also knowledgeable and know what they are doing. I am pleased. Don't have any complains . I plan to go back to them in the future, but I will purchase an in house deal($79 ) where you can get your cleaning done with that deal.

**Update 1/26/21: Scheduled my teeth whitening for today as I needed to go elsewhere to have a good cleaning done. My appointment was at 9am and literally everyone who worked in the office showed up for work at about 8:55am. I ended up rescheduling my appointment because they also had what seemed like a new employee training that morning? I did come a bit early to the appointment but not more than 15mins. If I didn't already pay for the Groupon I'd cut my losses with this place. Totally unprofessional and inconsiderate of others time. Everyone that I encountered here was extremely nice! However, I have a few details I'd like to share. This office attempts to sell 'deep scaling' (for $980) but they call it a deep cleaning, which is not covered by most insurances. What they call a deep cleaning is a regular cleaning at many other dentist offices. I had a cleaning done here and turned down the deep scaling. (I've had a lapse in insurance and bought a Groupon for this location). The regular cleaning they did took less than 10 mins in total. There was till visible tartar on my teeth after leaving. I scheduled at my regular dentist (the very next day) for a cleaning which took a normal amount of time, about 20-30mins, and was left with *actually* cleaned teeth. I even told my hygienist there I had my teeth cleaned yesterday and she was stunned. She held up her equipment and said, "With tools like these?! What did they even do?". I did pay more out of pocket, but only for a regular routine cleaning ($255 for established patient). Patients typically need deep scaling when they have 'pockets' between teeth and gums. For deep scaling to be necessary this pocket should be 3.5-4mm or more in size. The hygienist did not actually even measure anything in my mouth when stating I needed 'deep cleaning' done. All in all, there are more honest offices out there where your money could go a lot further. 2 stars because the lady at the front desk was so nice and helpful!

Lovely office, doctors and staff. Information on treatments and plans are made visually clear by the massive monitors that are provided with every chair. I appreciate being able to see exactly what is being discussed. It makes the entire experience feel personal and unique which is rare for many doctors.

United Dental Group of Elliott City is phenomenal! I've been searching for a new dentist for a while and they greeted and treated me with courtesy and professionalism. The cleanliness of the office is unmatched and each staff member is knowledgeable to say the least. They provide feedback and education necessary for long-lasting results and great oral hygiene. Highly recommended!!
