Dr. Amir Dadgar-Yeganeh was born and raised in Iran and immigrated to West Los Angeles with his family. After high school, he was accepted to UCLA as a Regent Scholar with full scholarship majoring in Psychobiology and graduated Summa Cum Laude Honors. He went on to obtain his dental degree from the prestigious UCSF School of Dentistry, where he served as Class President, and was awarded the Frances A. Sooy Chancellors Cup with highest honors from his dental school class before joining UCSF orthodontic residency.
He was also the recipient of California Dental Association and American Association of Dental Education scholarships. He completed his orthodontic certificate in addition to obtaining a Master of Science in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences. His thesis was focused on the relationship of TMJ disorder to airway and vertical facial growth and its relation to obstructive sleep apnea. He is now a Diplomate of American Board of Orthodontics and is a volunteer lecturer, and a course director of Interdisciplinary orthodontics at UCLA School of Dentistry.

Dr.Navid obtained his Dental education with highest academic honors, earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. In addition to the excellent training he received, he chose to further his education and skills by doing a rigorous residency program in Advanced Education in General practice residency at Mount Sinai Medical center in New York City. Since then he has been using these skills and living out this passion in full time practice. Dr.Navid understands the world of dentistry is ever changing and stays up to date by continually learning and advancing his skills through continuing education courses and by holding active memberships in the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the west Los Angeles Dental society.
