An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is an advanced, proven technology that provides more precise three-dimensional (3D) imaging for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral health conditions. 3D dental X-rays can uncover issues that may not be detectable with 2D X-rays. By making images easier to see, its helpful in gaining a better understanding of oral health conditions and suggested treatment.

Everyone was very friendly. Cherokee & Russell were great & Dr. K was very informative throughout the entire cleaning. I will definitely be back. I'm very thankful that I was referred. An additional bonus is that they are a full medical group so I no longer have to search for a PCP. I will recommend & return.

Dr. Oweis, is one of the nicest and most caring dentists you will ever encounter. Unlike most dentists in the valley that are in it for the money and want to rush you out, here it is the complete opposite. Dr.Oweis takes her time in her work and ensures accuracy as well as quality. You can tell she takes pride in what she does. If you have a dental emergency the office will do everything they can to get you in on her schedule to keep you from waiting. Bridgette, the dental assistant is another one of the kindest people you will ever meet, always making you feel welcome and cared for. You then have the most amazing dental hygienists Cherokee who also takes pride in her work to ensure the best cleaning possible. You then have Rachel the office manager who again is another caring member at the office who goes above and beyond to ensure you are happy, she helps you understand any insurance and billing questions in a way that you can comprehend without throwing nonsense at you. Rachel is another that goes above and beyond in her job duties. You then have the newest member of the team Jade who again like the rest of the staff is extremely patient and understanding with you whenever you have a concern. As you can see there is a pattern here, rhe culture and environment is extremely welcoming, friendly and understanding. They don't treat you like a number, but instead as they would treat their friends and family. Don't takey word for if go find out for yourself. I promise you won't regret it. Dr. Oweis and team thank you for everything you do for me and my dental care!. You are truly appreciated! Thank you!

I have sort of a TMJ, hard to open mouth thing, and Bridgette and Armanpreet Kaur we're super kind about it and really good at their jobs!! They really exceeded my expectations! A few more people were involved, (Rachel, Ashley, I think) they were great as well, even the little intern gal that was with them was really nice. Front desk lady and the employee she was training also killed it. Definitely going to bring my wife and son here in the future too, as long as my crowns hold up! Amazing service from everyone. Highly highly recommend.

i needed an emergency appointment for today and JADE helped me so happily. She was so sweet and helpful along with the rest of the staff. Marcus was very attentive and gentle when doing x-rays. They made me feel less anxious and reassured about my issues along with Dr.Kaur.

I wanted to make sure to give this office and their staff at Union Village Modern Dentistry recognition on a magnificent, amazing and caring treatments for their patients. I was just blown away by the way Dr. Kaur, Jade and Yaneri were so great making me feel absolutely cared for and helped on receiving the necessary treatment and how to even go about it financially. It Felt so great to have chosen this amazing caring and loving staff. They really care about their patients. Thank you so much.
