Dr. Sarah Krause is a caring dentist who uses only the most advanced materials and procedures. She places a strong emphasis on getting to know each patient and will explain beforehand what treatment is best for their individual needs.
After earning her bachelor's degree from Brandeis University, Dr. Krause received her doctorate from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ/Rutgers School of Dental Medicine). She then completed a residency in General Dentistry at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.
Dr. Krause practices exclusively in Union, New Jersey and focuses on general, aesthetic and implant dentistry. Dr. Krause continues to take advanced training in various aspects of dentistry which include: porcelain veneers, minimally invasive dentistry, TMJ appliances and implant dentistry. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, Union County Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Dhara Patel became a dentist because she saw how she could help individuals in her community and do what she loves doing! After graduating with a degree in Microbiology from the Pennsylvania State University she went on to receive her D.M.D degree at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. She advance her education and completed a residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan. She is currently an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the New Jersey Dental Association (NJDA).
Dr. Patel is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and looks at every relationship with patients as an individual story to be a part of from start to finish. She has completed extensive training and multiple courses in restorative, pediatric, and implant dentistry. She is excited to bringing these skills and more to you and looks forward to discussing your needs and goals.
Kim has been a registered dental hygienist for over 20 years and continues to stay on top of the latest trends in dentistry, taking continuing education courses in OSHA, Periodontal Disease, CPR and Infection Control. She loves her work and learning as much as possible to provide the best care.
Judy has been in the dental field for over 20 years. She started her dental career in West New York, NJ, spent some time in Manalapan, and joined Union Dental Group in 2017. Judy enjoys helping people feel better about themselves by having a great smile and she goes home every day feeling very accomplished and happy because she loves what she does.
Lucy is an accomplished dental assistant who enjoys all aspects of the dental field. She gets great satisfaction helping patients overcome their fear of the dentist and bringing confidence back to their lives. She is dental assisting national board (DANB) certified and enjoys keeping up with all CE courses to stay current with new dental materials and technology. Lucy is married with 2 children. She enjoys going to the beach and listening to music.
My name is Maria, some people know me by Connie which is my middle name. I have worked as a dental assistant for over 25 years. I like to make patients feel at ease by building confidence, trust and friendship with each patient. I speak Portuguese and Spanish. I always maintain a positive personality and a radiant smile. The people who work there are so great, they make you feel comfortable, they speak to you with care especially the elder patients who come in. I just love these people, very professional I recommend Union Dental to anyone.

From the moment I called the office until I was leaving my appointment this was BY FAR --- THE best dental Office I have ever been to in my entire life. And I've been to many. (Unlike so many offices now who have multiple televisions and Netflix and expect them to distract you while their LESS-THAN dentistry is CLEAR despite the distraction tactics --- THIS Office was clearly communicative --- NOT overbooked --- thank GOD --- and able to give me the personal attention my case required --- UNLIKE the last 3 Offices I tried to seek HELP within.) Everyone was kind. Gentle. Explained exactly what was happening when and why --- both before AND while it was happening which is something I've never been given the privilege or respect for until I went to this Office. The receptionists were SO kind and SO caring and SO understanding! The hygienist was absolutely spectacular and had the most careful touch with [what's left of] my ultra sensitive and delicate teeth while she kept the mood light and made quick work of everything. The Dentist herself was also perfection and made no false promises of expensive, lofty, unrealistic expectations for the future of my mouth. She was honest without being brutal. She knew my chart and listened to everything I said and explained the answers to any questions I might have. I could not appreciate her realistic expectations, kindness in explaining my options, or professionalism more. Overall the BEST Dental Office I've ever walked into!!!!!

I am always anxious during dental visits but this is the first time I have felt at ease . The office personnel was extremely nice and accommodating . Dr Kraus made my experience a pleasant one. I have a clue now as to what is going on and a plan thanks to her.

Ok so my family and I moved to Union almost a year ago and we didn't want to drive all the way back to the Bronx everytime we had a dental appointment. We are serious about our dental care so we definitely make it to the dentist twice a year. My wife started doing research and found out about the Union Dental Group through the Union FB group. She is type A personality and did a whole bunch of research and reading of reviews and said that this place is the one. LOL My first ever appointment was May 24th, 2022. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with smiles (I can tell through the masks ) and a warm welcome from everyone. It was at the end of the day and everyone was still very polite and energetic. I did not have to wait and was brought to a room for x-rays. Kim and Dr Krause were AMAZING! They were very knowledgeable, organized, gentle and kind! This was the first time in all of my years of going to the dentist that everything was explained to me in such detail and I really appreciated that! I also had to let them know that my teeth never felt this clean after an appointment EVER! Please don't get me wrong I loved my old dentist but this experience was soooo different and needed. I was even given a warm, mint scented towel to wipe my face with after everything was done. On my way checking out and scheduling my next appointment the ladies at the front desk were also very polite. You can tell and FEEL that the Union Dental Group really cares about their patients and they love what they do! Thank you so much and see you soon!

The staff and doctors are great! I was seen by assistant Lucy and Dr. Patel. They are both very personable, thorough, and easy to talk to. You can tell they enjoy their job and care about their patients. I learned things I have never been told before. I will keep coming and already referred my friend!
