Dr. Binh Lam was born and raised in San Jose, California and received his bachelors degree in biology from The University of California, San Diego.He returned to the Bay Area to attend The University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. After graduation, Dr. Lam continued his education in a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry also at the University of the Pacific where he developed expertise in implants, oral surgery, periodontics, endodontics and general dentistry. Dr. Lam is highly experienced and skillful at delivering one visit crowns and bridges with CEREC technology.He continues to take additional courses to further his training in CEREC and general dentistry, especially as technology continues to develop in the field of dentistry.
During his time off, Dr. Lam enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing golf, snowboarding and surfing.Dr. Lam is engaged with his local community through East Bay charities and has also partnered with an organization to provide free dental services to underserved children in Southeast Asia.
Anita is a native of Hong Kong and has been living in the Bay Area for more than 30 years. She speaks Cantonese, English and conversational Mandarin. She has been working in the dental field for over 5 years and enjoys helping her dental clients with scheduling and their dental insurance.
Jinalyn has been working in a dental office for more than 15 years. She has been a Registered Dental Assistant with Union City Dental Aesthetics for more than 5 years. One of the things she enjoys most about working in a dental office is seeing how her team can change patients lives just by transforming their smiles.
Nikki grew up in Antioch, Californiaand has been practicing dental hygiene since 2013. She went to University of the Pacific Arthur Dugoni School of Dentistry, and got her bachelors in dental hygiene.Nikki enjoys getting to know her patients and providing outstanding care.
Simon was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA and attended the University of California, Los Angeles as well as California State University, Northridge to earn his Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health Education. With over 10 years of dental assisting experience, Simon decided to further his education by moving to the Bay Area and attended the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry to receive his second Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. He graduated with honors and was inducted into Tau Kappa Omega as a member of the Dental Honors Society. As a dental hygienist, Simon enjoys providing patient centered care to the best of his abilities while building relationships with his patients.
She and her husband Ahmad have a son named Omar, and are expecting their second bundle of joy. In her free time, she loves being with family and chasing around her little son constantly. They regularly travel and go adventuring outdoors, and especially love spending time at Half Moon Bay beach.
Rudy received his dental hygiene training at Carrington College in San Jose and his Bachelor's at UC Davis. He enjoys getting to know his patients so that he can offer recommendations to promote oral health. Born and raised in the Bay Area, Rudy enjoys spending time with his family and friends.

I am familiar face at Dr. Lam's office. I've been coming here for over 3 years. I can confidently say that I've never been disappointed by the service. All staff members are super friendly and helpful Dr. Lam is a master expert of his craft and it shows in his work. He is extremely efficient, observant, and respectful. I recommend his office to everyone I know!!

Dr. Binh Lam has been our family dentist for many years and he is honestly the best! He takes great care of our dental health and is intentional about following up to make sure everything is progressing well. I still travel out of the area to have Dr. Binh Lam as my dentist, because he does everything needed to ensure my teeth stay healthy. He is definitely an expert at what he does, and our family is grateful for him!! I highly recommend him as a dentist!! You won't be disappointed!

Dr. Lam is the dentist you could only hope to find! I have been his patient for the last 7 years, so this review is long overdue. He is talented, compassionate, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. He uses the latest technology to give his patients the best possible care. Being in his dental office makes me breathe easy because it is soothing, modern, safe and very clean! He offers same day crowns with a process called CEREC. It's absolutely amazing to leave my appointment with a new crown instead of having to return for a second visit to get it replaced! Lastly, Dr. Lam has created a dental care team that is highly skilled and very caring. They definitely make me feel like I'm part of their family whenever I arrive for an appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Lam and his team at Union City Dental Aesthetics!

Since I moved to the Bay area Union City Dent Aesthetics has treated me better than any dentist office I've ever been to in the past. In the emergency I have had they've always been the most accommodating. LOVE IT

Dr. Lam is one of the absolute best dentists I've worked with in my life. My original dentist retired a while back, and I found myself in need of emergency care. It was quite surprising when Dr. Lam called me personally to offer his help. He saw me the very next day. I've spent literally decades dealing with all kinds of dental challenges - from gum issues to implants. The thing that stands out most about Dr. Lam is his willingness to listen and to recommend the best solutions based on my wishes. It has been a real collaboration and cooperative experience. Highly recommended! 3/30/2022 - UPDATE I recently completed a comprehensive treatment plan with Dr. Lam. The result he obtained was far superior to anything offered by any other dentist that I visited. My smile looks good and I'm able to eat whatever's on the menu. My dental experience is extensive. In 1993 a couple of dentists suggested that I get full dentures. I was 42 years old at the time. I rejected that idea out of hand. In the meantime, I've had multiple implant surgeries, bone grafts, root canals, gum surgeries, crowns, extractions, and several partial dentures - each successive partial supporting fewer and fewer natural teeth. This has all come at considerable expense over time. To further put it into perspective - from 1993 until the present - to say I have seen many dentists is an understatement. This is not an exaggeration: Alameda (2), Oakland (1), San Jose (1), Half Moon Bay (1), Fremont (6), Hayward (3), and Union City [including Lam] (3). I've also had comprehensive examinations at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry and the Prosthodontics Clinic at UCSF Dental Center - both in San Francisco. Do the math. Most recently, over the past couple of years, I had extreme difficulty finding any dentist to help meet the following objectives: 1) make use of the implants already in place, 2) retain my natural teeth (no matter how few), and 3) hold down costs as much as possible. Out of all of these offices and dental professionals, Dr. Lam was the only dentist willing to work with me to help meet my goals. I am very happy with the results Dr. Lam has been able to achieve. I am eternally grateful for his positive "possibility thinking" - always thinking of ways to make it work, as opposed to coming up with all kinds of reasons why it wouldn't work. More importantly, he let me know he was listening and that he cared about my desired outcome. That is priceless. I'll say this again for anyone trying to make a decision or for someone facing a tough situation: Dr. Binh Lam is hands down the best dentist I've ever met. He and his staff - especially Jina, Karen, and Anita - get my highest recommendation

I am grateful and completely satisfied with Dr. Lim and his very impressive team of dental care professionals who continue to be incredibly dedicated to my overall dental health. Knowledgeable, transparent, efficient and friendly are qualities that describe Dr. Lim, Anita and each member of his staff. The latest in dental technology is used at his office which both impresses and amazes you, while making you dental experience one that is comprehensive, engaging and productive. I remember how I felt fearful of dental appointments, mostly because of the procedures or the dentist's demeanor. Not so with Dr. Lim. I enjoy and look forward to my visits to his office! He's empathetic, enthusiastic, compassionate and passionate about the care he provides to and for his patients. A doctor, and a friend: Best dentist EVER!

Great and friendly staff and awesome dentist. Always nerve wrecking going to the dentist to get teeth work done especially hearing the drills, but Dr. Lam makes sure I'm always comfortable and any work done is painless and nothing is ever rushed. Office is clean, sanitized and Covid safety is in place. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great dentist.

I'm someone who has hated going to the dentist my whole life. But Dr Binh Lam and his staff have consistently made the experience a good one. The front desk is super helpful, the hygienists understand my fears and make me feel as comfortable as possible. Dr Lam is very thorough and makes sure that my teeth are in the best shape. The office is super clean and take all covid precautions. I'd definitely recommend Dr Lam to anyone!

I needed a crown and had it done here recently with Dr. Lam. I had a fantastic experience. The crown was done in one visit and I saw him design it in real time. That's amazing. I had a steak dinner that night. Dr. Lam explains things clearly and he's very easy to talk to. Highly recommend him as a dentist.

After many years at the same dentist, I went to Dr Lam in search of a better overall dental experience. I was extremely please with my visit. Not only was the staff extremely friendly they were all very knowledgeable and helped explain everything to me. Added bonus- they have a very nice facility. I will certainly be permanently switching over dentist.
