Occasionally a patient may become anxious and can't relax. There are forms of conscious sedation that allow a patient to relax and/or become sleepy. Forms of conscious sedation may involve inhaling a gas, taking an oral medication, getting an injection or receiving medication intravenously.
Take all of the fear out of going to the dentist with Dr. Noie, a sedation dentist in Webster. Dr. Noie can put you into a relaxed state and provide all of your treatment in one visit. Injection or intravenously (into a vein) methods require more experience to be administered and monitored properly. Injections and intravenous medications should be used only by dentists with extensive training in these techniques.
Some general dentists have received training and a certification in general anesthesia, while others contract with an anesthesiologist. These professionals are trained to deliver the medications and monitor patients during the procedure and handle any complications that may occur.
Nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas, is most often used for patients who are mildly or moderately anxious or nervous. It eases their fears so that they can relax and receive treatment comfortably and safely. Nitrous oxide is administered by placing a small mask over the patient's nose. As the gas begins to work, the patient becomes calm, but is still awake and can communicate. When the gas is turned off, the effects of sedation wear off almost immediately.
Will you use local anesthetic (Novocain)?: Always. Oral sedation is not general anesthesia. Treatment is no different than if you were not sedated. The difference is that you will be much more relaxed, memory of the procedure will be minimal and the time will seem to fly by.
How safe is it?: Properly administered oral sedation is the safest form of sedation. We use sophisticated monitoring equipment during all procedures and you are always attended by a trained doctor or staff member.
Is it expensive?: No. There is a sedation fee to cover the expense of the drugs and the monitoring, but we don't try to profit from sedation. Our profit (and yours) is in your comfort and in the quality of your care.

I dont typically write reviews about anything or anyone. With the experience that I've had with this phenomenal establishment, I'm obligated to give the credit that is so overwhelmingly due. From the very beginning, EVERYONE here has been so nice and professional and considerate during the whole process. From payment arrangements to appointments settings all the way making me feel like a cared for family member and all of the small details that were just as significant as the bug details. I was extremely nervous when I went to the first consultation but that went away VERY fast. Thank you to all of the staff from Dr. Noie all the way down to Kennedy, the phenomenal cookie maker at the front desk. You are ALL amazing people and deserve nothing but the best and thank you all for making my experience so easy, pleasant and comforting.

SO UNPROFESSIONAL, DO NOT COME HERE, THE PLACE IS ON A DIRTY SIDE OF TOWN. THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Edit: They are so far from Pearland! The only place they are near is Baybrook Mall. Take a ride down Nasa pkwy and see how nice it is then ;) A bunch of poor areas/locations! Enjoy your review, also look at the other one star reviews as well. Im not the only one who has had issues with this place! The women at the front desk are so snappy and mean. I have never been treated worse!

Terrible service. They give you terrible quality for what you pay for. I recommend going to another place if you're looking to get quality and great customer service. They don't care about your wants and needs nor do they try to help fix issues that they caused. Very unprofessional! I wish I never came here and I wish I never gave them my money.

I've gone to Dr. Noi for over 20 years and I've never had to go to any other dentist and the fact that he can perform anything that is needed is awesome! From root canals to major surgery's that I've had over the years... I've been taken care of mentally and physically by Dr. Noi who is really laid back and makes any dental pain disappear. One of the best things I can say about Dr. Noi is he is one of the last few Doctor's who is actually passionate about his practice and his community that he's built up over the years. Our whole family goes to him... The staff really works hard to keep everyone accommodated when things arise which is challenging, dental pain is no joke. I've referred everyone to Dr. Noi for the number one reason that his level of experience and knowledge is that of the best. Also with only having to go to one dentist is a major plus... I've never been worried while doing a procedure because Dr. Noi truly knows what he's doing and is very competent. Even the "most important"of surgery's is a cakewalk to Dr Noi... Long waiting hours even after getting an appointment. I was given an incorrect estimate only to find out from my dental insurance company that the estimate exceeds my annual maximum deductible. The person who gave me the financial estimate plan was extremely RUDE. I would much rather take my business else where.

Dr Noie is unlike any other Dentist I have ever experienced. First he is the ultimate Professional in both his Dentistry and concern for his patient. He explains everything before doing anything to ensure that the patient understands and agrees to his procedure. Dr Noie is not a General Dentist who sends his Dental patients to Specialist. Instead he does it all and has the Education to do so.I could go on & on about Dr Noie but you get the picture. His Dental Assistants and Hygentist are the best in their field. I have been going to Dr Noie since 2004 and will continue to do so until the good Lord takes Me.
