Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Dr. Steven Spivak pursued a career in dentistry because of a desire to help those in pain and in need of proper oral health. After receiving a biology degree from Arizona State University, he studied dentistry at the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. At Midwestern he also received a masters degree in biomedical sciences.
Dr. Spivak is committed to treating patients in a gentle, caring manner with emphasis on patient comfort and overall well-being. He values providing a full oral spectrum of care while working with patients to meet their specific treatment goals.Committed to excellence in dentistry, Dr. Spivak is a member of the San Fernando Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry as well as the California Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Spivak has also worked with Give Kids a Smile, a volunteer organization that helps give children access to dental care. He has also worked with the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul and CDA Cares in San Diego. In his spare time, Dr. Spivak enjoys spending time with family, along with hiking, traveling and caring for his French Bulldog.
Dr. Yan Yampolsky was born in in Russia and immigrated with his family to the United States in 1991. He grew up in Los Angeles. Following in his father's footsteps who was passionate about following dentistry, he graduated from Claremont Collegewith a degree in Human Biology and went on to continue his education at adental school ofMidwestern University. Following his graduation, Dr. Yan started practicing dentistry athis father's office and later on, in 2014, started his own practice in San Fernando, CA. He joined the American Dental Association and California Dental Association anddeveloped a special interest in working with kidsprovidingpainless care and helping them develop healthy dental habits. He became one of 10,000 dentists-volunteers who worked at theADA Foundation's Give Kids A Smile program, offering theunderserved childrenfree oral health services.
Dr. Yampolsky enjoys getting to know patients on a personal level and working with the wonderful staff at Ultra Dental. In his free time, heloves spending time with his wife and son. He is a savvy traveler and a big Lakers' fan.

I'm afraid of the needles so coming to Ultra Dental was the best decision I made. Tatiana and Morena there at the front desk with a big smile and a friendly welcoming then Stefanie would do your x ray she was gentil and nice , William did an amazing job I was very nervous so he explained don't worry your going to see a good Doctor don't be afraid he gave me a bottle of water he calmed me down .When I took my grandma William and Tatiana open the door for me thank you guys . Lizeth and Doctor Steven explained procedure's Doctor Steven was. Very patient , and nice with me. I'm thankful that I came to this place and meet this wonderful people not only are the doing there job they go beyond . From the bottom off my I want to thank them all for doing an amazing job.

I saw the need to change my dentist for ultra dental, to begin with, ultra dental has the best customer service, high quality staff, professionals, knowledgeable about their work, with a super clean establishment, top quality products I am completely 100% satisfied with my teeth, it looks and feels very good for sure, ultra dental returned my smile and my self-esteem, thanks to all, doctors, receptionists and technical staff, I recommend them 100%!!!!

It is a great dental office in the San Fernando Area. Dr. Abner is really caring. He makes sure to clarify any question about the treatment that is needed. The office is clean and well equipped.

Shout out to the care team at Ultra Dental. Had my first visit yesterday. Manager Elvia welcomed me with positive vibes and great professionalism. Had my examination and deep cleaning. Dr. Emil was gentle in treatment. Overall a pain free dental experience. Dr. Emil provided excellent explanation of procedures and after care instructions. He also answered all of my questions. Can't wait to return for additional treatment. I was made aware that this office is under a new ownership group. The office presented very clean and sanitary. Strongly recommend

Had the best experience today when I took my kids to there appointments today morning I like how they explain the procedure to me and I loved how the doctor was explaining every step of the procedure to my kids and also the doctors and the staff where calming my kids down when they where nervous when they where doing there treatment I will happily tell my friends about my experience at ultra dental and tell them to take their kids and themselves for a good treatment

Extremely unsatisfied with this dentist! Dalia Nosrati is suppose to be a children's dentist and has no idea how to speak with children! Telling my daughter it's her "punishment" for getting treated. She made many other comments so I had tell her to stop talking to her that way. She does not know to to speak with children. Unprofessional! I will NOT be bring my daughter here again.

Not a good dentist at all looks very unsanitary. Pulled my sister's tooth out and after doing that realized that she had no tooth to replace it so they told her she now needed an implant or her other teeth would fall out. They then started the procedure to take five teeth out of my mouth I asked if they were going to numb my gums and they said I might not need!!! Then the doctor started to pull my five teeth out and blood was splattering all over my face and they broke and shattered pieces of teeth in my mouth. They then after all that told me I had to go to another dentist to get the pieces of shatter that they left in my mouth Removed and that I'll need surgery. I went to another dentist and they told me I don't need surgery and what they did was bad and didn't make sense. I would give no stars if I could it was the worst experience of my life I was bleeding for days and felt sick. Do not go!!!!
