The lady up front is RUDE as heck. But other then that, very well done. Got a tooth extraction and it was infected. They cleaned out the infection as well as pulled the tooth. Numbed me up pretty well. They take care of you back there. Just try to ignore that rude lady and the rest is worth it.

OMGosh! Had a huge infection! The clinic extracted the tooth, cleaned up the infection, scheduled a follow-up to remove drain and stitches. This is the best place in Florida for dental issues. Great people, great prices. So lucky that I found them.

Was nervous going in about having all 4 wisdom teeth removed, but had a good experience on day of surgery. Or as good as it could be considering. Dr. McWatters was great at explaining my options including coronectomy and being patient to answer all of my questions. He also called to check on me 1-2 days after the procedure.

Horrible dental experience I had this Oder in my mouth for a long time and I keep having to waste money to go to this dentist and they never fix the smell

I had a cracked tooth, causing me extremely bad pain and needed quick resolution. I arrived, anxious about getting dental services by college students and to my surprise, they were extremely good at their job. I think my regular dentist needs to go back to school and learn from these Dental Students.

All of the staff was great from start to finish. I thought with the lottery method that I would not get selected the first time, but there were only seven of us that day so we were all selected. This was my fist extraction and the staff made me feel comfortable and calmed my nerves. Shands is awesome!

Personally I've had two teeth pulled from the students here, First time was January 2020 while I was pregnant & it was a wisdom tooth I was in so much pain the students were very nice & educated ! Second time I got another wisdom tooth done July 2020 these students were different than my previous they were very nice but the actual dentist had to come help and extract my tooth ( had a cavity and didn't know it so the numbing shot was injected multiple times to numb me enough I couldn't feel what they were doing thankfully ) pretty quick process overall I didn't really care I just wanted the teeth that were hurting to come out !! Medicaid accepted here, call before ask what insurance they take.. for your own knowledge Be there in clinic before 7am They usually see everyone that's there before check in time at 7am unless there's a payment problem or insurance issue.

The receptionist in the walk-in dental clinic on 2-24-20 should not have a job that requires her to deal with people. She seems to have a neurotic personality disorder, so I don't blame her so much as whoever hired her to be a receptionist.

I would give zero stars if it was an option! The most horrible dental experience of my life! They should have put me on antibiotics and sent me home till the infection was cleared up once they realised that she could not numb me completely. I was not 100% numb and the "actual" dentist had to come over and pull the tooth quickly because they had maxed out on numbing medication and the tooth was half way out, so there was no turning back. The pain of recovery was the worst I had ever experienced! Finally went to my Dr and he gave me antibiotics that UF refused to give me because I had a massive infection that was spreading quickly. The pain finally became manageable after about a day in a half on antibiotics that UF said I DID NOT NEED! It has been 4 weeks, the extraction site is still tender at the bone area, I have pulled several large pieces of tooth or bone from the site. I removed a very large one yesterday, everytime a large piece comes out the pain in the extraction site becomes less and less. For the first time in my 37 years of life I am now terrified to go back to a dentist! I break out in a sweat and have to hold back tears while shacking with anxiety just thinking about anyone touching my mouth! I wish I would have gotten antibiotics from my Dr and waited for my insurance through my employer was effective instead of allowing them to traumatize me. P.s. I did not ever develop dry socket

This is a socialist form of dentistry, they accept no insurance, it is on a lottery system at 7 a.m. only.
