As a single parent, I am often forced to bring my child with me to Drs visits. I have never been made to feel so low as today. I drove an hour yo get to this clinic! I am in pain and finally found somewhere that will take my insurance and they turn me away because I have my child with me. There just has to be more compassion from this University. I literally am barely functioning due to tooth pain and they could not let my child sit for the 45 mins this procedure would have taken. I will always remember the way this facility made me feel. Oh and the front desk lady laughed at me to throw salt on the wound.

Had an emergency extraction done. Said that ibuprofen will be suffice for pain. Paid the extra 40 bucks to have gas to not even get it. Then on top of all that, NONE of my medication was sent to pharmacy. Absolutely unprofessional and ignorant. Now I have to sit here in pain all weekend due to a doctor's negligence. If I could give 0 stars. I would.

I would give them o stars but it won't let me.. Went in for toothache. I was talked into root canal even though I wanted to just have it pulled. I was told there would be no charge. After the root canal was finished, painfully, I was charged $900.00. I am making payments to pay it off. Now, the tooth has not stop hurting. I get migraines from the tooth pain. My dentist said I need it pulled. I need oral surgery since it's close th the sinus cavity. BUT, they won't see me because I have a balance, even though I'm making payments.

I had 4 wisdom teeth removed here yesterday. I'm normally a very anxious patient with bad experiences from other dentists, but not here! I felt no pain with the IV sedation, and remember nothing of the procedure (it took only about 20-25 minutes). I'm on antibiotics and a painkiller and feel amazing my second day, even with slight soreness! They caught my infection in time before it got worse. The holes and stitches I have left are very minimal and aren't bleeding too much, they look very clean. The staff and dentists were very attentive, compassionate and nice. I paid exactly what my dental estimates were and it was very affordable compared to other dentists in the Ocala area (another dentist wanted to overcharge me for extra procedures that I didn't need to have to remove my wisdoms!) Overall, a really fantastic, comforting experience and I will go back for future dental work!

I met with Dr. Hardeman on February 23, 2021. My wait time to see him was over two hours. When he finally saw me, he was very dismissive and basically telling me my symptoms were "all in my head." He never looked in my mouth and didn't look at my recent cat scan to diagnose me. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

I was referred here from Kanapaha Emergency as an add-on 3 days before Christmas for an infected tooth extraction, so I came prepared to wait for the better part of the day. I brought with me everything I thought I'd need for the day out- my antibiotics, a drink, and social media (of course) I arrived at 7:35am and was driving out of the parking garage at 9:15am with one less tooth. Seriously, this entire experience here was so painless that I left in a freakish state of elation, calling both my Mom and Dad (separately) to tell them how great my tooth extraction went (still with the unfortunate and pitiful blubbering effect of the Novocaine, which both parents tolerated well) Like, seriously, who gets so excited about a tooth extraction? They each asked me, a tad nervously, cringing for me, how it went. 'Fantastic!' Ha! Nobody likes this! But it totally didn't suck. And that was amazing! I was so impressed and relieved, since the reviews here on Google made me a tad apprehensive. And the staff warned me that there may be quite a delay. I'm sure experience varies, but mine was about 150% better than I had anticipated.

Beware. Good medical/dental practicioners but horrendous administration. Had complex surgery i May 2020 to treat cysts in maxilla and place bone grafts. Called prior to surgery to check if any cost (out of pocket) to me. Was told by doctor that procedure was covered by 3 billing codes and to call another person to see if there would be any cost. Called the person with the codes and she called me back later and told me that all was covered and there woul be no cost to me. Went back for a follow up visit and was directed to the billing department who told me I owed $2500.!! I told the billing person that I had checked prior to surgery and had been advised that there would be no cost. Her response was that I had called the wrong person which I found astonishing because I had called the person I had been told to call prior to surgery. I was compelled to sign a payment document which was neither a contract or a promise to pay because I felt that if I did not sign I would not be able to continue with the follow up. I contacted the Patient Advocate who, after many emails and calls saisd that she would get Oral Surgery to call me. That was several months ago and I heard nothing and the Patient Advocate does not respond to voice and E mails. Last straw is that they now threaten to put me in Collection rather than calling to discuss what was basically their screw up. All of this reflects very badly on UF Health and College of Dentistry. Do not trust them and do not expect any kind of decent customer/patient support or communication.. Next comes a

Sunday I was rushed to shans hosptial due to a major dental infection that was going septic I seen the oral surgeon there he didn't waste no time with getting a drain in my mouth. That doctor was amazing and saved my life if was not for him I would not be here. Now for the apt at the office on the 1st was a nightmare the lady at the front desk was rude and not helpful at all if u don't want to help your customers then u do not need to be in that field at all. Then they call me back to pull the tube I need up having more then one pulled now the girl that called me back was wonderful she helped me with everything here I am with a major infection in my mouth so the numbing wasn t working I kept telling the doctor to stop but he kept on I felt everything the drilling tugging pulling then after he got the two out he stuck something down in the hole where the drain was wasn t even watching what he was doing just going back and forth killed me THAT was the worst doctor visit I have ever been to and will be reported to my primary never again will I step foot in your office or care unless it's the doctor I had at the er.i do not recommend this place for anyone who has a bad infection

The doctors, staff, and facility are awesome! I got a wisdom tooth and a molar pulled out in 15 minutes after anesthesia! Their pain treatment was perfect! The hard part is getting an appointment. After that, it's a great experience!
