UF Health Wildlight is a medical office building offering eight service lines, and a second building in the back of the Wildlight neighborhood offering rehabilitation services. The two facilities are at the core of the health-minded Wildlight community and support all residents in Yulee and surrounding areas.
The University of Florida and UF Health were selected to provide medical and wellness services to the Wildlight community in Nassau County, which is slated to grow to 24,000 housing units on 25,000 square acres.
The rehabilitation facility opened in October 2020 and offers occupational, physical and speech therapy for adults and children. The 35,000-square-foot-building is nestled back in the Wildlight community on the edge of a beautiful wood. The floor-to-ceiling windows give patients a peaceful setting with natural light. The facility also offers a healthy living center and a YMCA.
Wildlight is envisioned as a new town inspired by a character, culture and pattern of living called Florida Lowcountry, where play is a part of every day and the natural world is a natural part of life. The plan for Wildlight includes a mix of homes, townhomes and rental apartments together with shops and restaurants, parks, gardens and playgrounds, a new elementary school, and a system of trails and pathways intended to make it healthy and walkable and connect it all together. Wildlights Phase 1 plan is flexible and currently designed for about 1,000 homes across about 260 acres plus nearly 350 acres of permanently preserved open space.
Wildlight will offer comfortable and friendly Florida Lowcountry living 20 miles north of Jacksonville, just east of Interstate 95 on A1A, with easy access to both Amelia Island and the Jacksonville International Airport. Wildlight is being created by Raydient Places + Properties, a taxable REIT subsidiary of Rayonier.
UF Health Urgent Care Wildlight is a convenient and cost-effective option to the emergency room for treatment when your illness or injury is not life-threatening. We offer a higher level of urgent care services by emergency medicine physicians and staff.
Our one-on-one sessions last a full 45 minutes to address any concerns and help meet the needs of our patients. Therapists also work with patients to create a supplemental home exercise plan for long-term management of their conditions.
