Dr. Jawad comes to us all the way from Baghdad, Iraq, and she has been a proud Virginia resident since 2007. In her words, dentistry has always been her passion. She loves helping people change their lives and improve their health at the same time, and for her, patient satisfaction is her #1 priority. She provides everyone who comes to see us with the highest standard of dental care, and she always takes the time to educate her patients to help them better understand their options and overcome any potential fears.
Dr. Jawad earned a bachelors degree in biology from George Mason University, and she went on to obtain her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. She then completed an oral and maxillofacial surgery clerkship to help expand her knowledge and skills. Continuing education is still very important to her, so she is constantly taking courses and doing research to stay up-to-date on the latest technology and techniques.
Dr. Jawad is a strong believer in giving back to the community, which is why she frequently donates dental services through Mission of Mercy, Give Kids a Smile, and Healthy Smiles for Baltimore Kids. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.

All of the staff are very knowledgeable, helpful, kind, and friendly! They really listen when you tell them of your concerns and they do a great job of explaining your options for dealing with any dental problems. I'm a new customer and they helped me with feeling welcome to the office and with flexible scheduling. Really appreciate the care my new dentist shows me and how they make sure I am comfortable during any procedures. Billing information is clearly explained and they answer any questions with clear and direct answers. Really appreciate the attention to detail and seeing how the office works together as one professional and caring team. The location of the office is also easy to find parking. Also I love to see that they support the local community by participating in local parades, races, and donation events. Highly recommend! I'll also add that one day I did have to be in a rush to get to another appointment on time and they made sure I was out and paid for on time without degrading the quality of my service.

The hygienist was really good. She performed a lymph node exam, which I'd never been given before. She provided helpful brushing guidance and advised me to rinse my mouth with water after drinking coffee and red wine. I did have a slightly difficult time hearing her. I assume it was because of my hearing deficit and the background noise (music, dental equipment, and, especially, a very loud professional working in the next room). That other professional may have had to speak so loudly because her patient's hearing was even worse than mine. Occasionally, I couldn't tell which of the two voices I was hearing.

The dental assistant was very forceful performing dental X-rays. Her bedside manners need to improved. Dentist tube suction hurt my tongue. Worst experience ever.

They are the best of the best! I always hate going to the dentist and ever since switching over I've been able to hate it a bit less. All of the staff is very kind and welcoming. Highly recommend! Thank you again :)

I am glad I relied on the excellent google reviews that were previously posted in making my decision to check out Tysons Dental Esthetics. This is a wonderful facility with very considerate staff. Every interaction I had here was sublime. I also feel extremely comfortable in resting my dental health in the expert hands, knowledge and recommendations of the professionals here. I am confident of a great path forward for my dental care needs.

Staff were very friendly including the doctor and I received a quick care which I did not expect. It was good experience except they burn my lower lips making it burned spots

I chose this place because it's walking distance from where I live and I saw all the great reviews. In my experience they were ok... My last dentist was better, cleaner, friendlier and more 'homey'. So I don't know how accurate the ratings are. My cleaning was fine by a hygienist and it was a pain. It took over 15 min to take the X-rays. I have never had to look so much up and down, turn my head to left and right. She told me I needed a treatment that no one ever has told me for big open gaps. Would cost me almost $250 after insurance. She also recommended to have flour treatment which I know is not accepted by the insurance. The Dentist stopped by after 1,5 hour and checked my teeth and of course I had cavities. However I asked the hygienist how long it would take when I first sat down and she said in total 1 hour 10-20 min. I told her I had another appointment and she said I would make it. What annoyed me is that after 1 hour 25 min she called the dentist. She didn't bother to tell her I was in rush.. after 1 hour 40 min she wanted to discuss the appointment for cavities and next check up and I told them I had to run because I was late to my next appointment. I think it was rude because I did give her heads up and she totally ignored it. All in all I have had better experience and I kind of regret that I left my previous dentist just because I moved.

Every experience that I've had at Tysons Dental has been great, but today especially was my birthday. The staff took the extra steps to gift me an Amazon gift card. It was the thoughtful gesture that makes this place exceed expectations time and time again. Kudos!!!
