I replaced of a big filling in a tooth with a dental crown at Tysons Dental Corner. I ended up with sensitivity between the gum and a crown. Since this was already a dead tooth (root canal treatment had just been done at another place), my dentist offered me to replace the crown to solve sensitivity around the gum of the tooth issue by making a new crown longer and cutting back the gum. But I would have to pay out of my pocket 2000$... because my insurance would not pay for the crown for the same tooth the crown had just been done. So naturally I decided not to replace the crown, because I had already spent a lot of money for fixing this tooth. Soon after the gap between the crown and the gum started capturing food. A couple of months later while abroad on a vacation the crown broke off... to the gum! I have other crowns in my mouth done many years ago and they are still fine. I must say- it is good that my crown broke off- because during an x-ray another doctor discovered a dental cyst at the end of the root of the same tooth that had already deteriorated the bone. So that is why I give 2 stars- as a thank you for the bad crown.

I have to admit, I HATE going to the dentist. It's just not for me. The team at Tysons Dental Corner was accommodating in every aspect. From scheduling the appointment, to the extremely "gentle" procedure to the follow-up since my appointment has truly been AMAZING! They truly care about the service they provide and their patients as well. Highly recommend you book with them today.

Been going to Dr. Zina since 2017. I moved so many times but never changed her. Appt schedule is easy, very flexible. Discuss the dental work needs done and breakdown of charges and let me see how much i can afford to get done a month( military did horrible work during service and caused so many issues to repair) Highly recommend

Update 6/28 Fabiola is gone and not sure when be back. no other special for cleaning is available. AWESOME in the true definition of the word. Highly recommend Fabiola. I hardly felt her clean my gums (which needed a good cleaning). I never bled, my teeth feel just a clean and smooth the day I get my braces off. :). Thank you Fabiola for a wonderful experience. More in Depth review. The office is very spaced out for COVID reasons. Everyone in the office was friendly but not too talkative :). Loved the nature light that came in and EVERYONE WORE A MASK AT ALL TIMES. Very easy to get too, right off route 66 and plenty of free parking. Zina (Dentist) check up on me a couple time during the cleaning to make sure everything was good. There was no pressure to do any other treatment except for what I made the appointment for.

Love this office, getting cleanings here every six months is painless and effortless. I always feel taken care of and listened to when I'm here. From the receptionist to Dr. Alathari - all staff are so professional and kind. Their office is beautiful and conveniently located above a Jimmy John's!(though if you are getting fluoride treatment you have to wait 30 minutes before eating)

It is impossible to overstate how impressive this dental office is. Dr. Alathari and her team are, to a person, highly skilled, personable and compassionate. The medical techniques and equipment utilized are state-of-the-art. My highest recommendation.

Dr.zaina is always straightforward, nice and professional. Her dental assistant ( Ilham ) is also a very nice and knowledgeable. My wife and I always feel comfortable at her office. Dr.Zaina and her whole team are over great people. Very recommended.

Amazing experience- warm customer service and very efficient! I suddenly cracked a filling and was so freaked out...I really did not want to have to get dental work done during the Covid situation. First, the dentist answered her after hours line and immediately put me at ease. She looked up my information and filled me into her earliest time slot and assured me of their cleaning standards (double masking, gloves, sanitizing everything, spacing out appointments, etc). I went to the office and was very happy with their precautions: they have a glass partition set up at the front, everyone is double masked and wearing gloves, an air filter/purifier in the waiting room, and gave me the option to stay in my car and they would call me when my appointment was ready. They made sure to space out everyone: there was only one other person getting serviced several rows down from me and one person in the waiting room. I needed novacane and it was basically painless. They prepped with a numbing gel first which basically numbs the injection site. Only slight discomfort with the needle and it was basically effortless. They took x-rays and fixed my tooth within an hour. The dentist puts you at ease and gives you clear feedback so you're not surprised at anything that needs to be done or what she's doing. Definitely happy with their service!

Words can not describe how this team of professionals, understanding and compassionate staff had treated me. There are not enough stars in the sky for me to rate them. 5,20,15,30...will still not been enough to give them. They had treated me so kind from the beginning. I am deeply grateful. I thought my dental issues will had no hope. I was very sad and depressed to say the least, but now I have hope and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, all thanks to this kind team of doctors and staff. Kudos for them!!! Keep up the great job!!!
