Dr. Alvarez and staff! I do not recommend this office in the slightest. The staff was rude and dismissive and the doctor acted like a total jerk. They asked for the money right away before even doing the procedure. We felt that something was off but still gave them the benefit of the doubt and just asked for a Pre-treatment estimate to be sent to the Insurance. Once it was received, they lied about the out of pocket amount. The Doctor said that he was not going to honor the "out-of-pocket" amount because he needs to make money. Not only are they scamming the Insurance Company but they're also scamming their patients. They ask for a "made up" out of pocket amount right upfront without even consulting with the Insurance first. As patients, we all deserve better than this street rat. I have no idea how he can sleep at night knowing that he's taking people's money and cheating the system.

Horrible place! Mean dentist and rude office manager. Finished cleaning teeth within 15 min for a new patient visit. Dentist sought after money, not teeth. Do not go there!

I am not comfortable going to a dentist. So much so that I skipped it for 6 years !! I eventually came to this office, and I really appreciated how well they took care of me. They explained what they were doing and why. I had two cavities, on opposite sides, and they were taken care of with care. They were very thorough with the cleaning. The lady at the front desk was very helpful, she dealt very well with my insurance. I am surprised to read some of the other reviewers, because my experience was exceptionally good.

TLDR: This office attempted to overbill and not adhere to the insurance contracted rates. Full story: The quality of care that I was provided in my visits to this office were good. The office was clean and they seemed to have up to date equipment. The dentist and hygienist were friendly and knowledgeable. However the receptionist was not friendly. I was willing to look past this at first but after multiple visits this was not a simple bad day. I made this office my primary dental office for my DMO insurance plan as they were one of the few in network providers. On my last visit to this office they attempted to overbill me based on the allowed rates for the services they were providing by adding invalid dental codes that they claimed were for materials. When I tried to question the charges they told me that I do not know how dental insurance works. I explained that I am very aware of how dental insurance works as I am Life & Health licensed and among many other things sell dental insurance. After some back and forth emails with the office and confirmation with the insurance carrier I received a letter from them telling me that they would no longer see me for non emergences and that i needed to find a new desist. They did include a check for the amount that I told them they had over billed per the allowable rates.

Overcharge and rude customer service specially Mrs. Irina - Office manager They always ask to pay upfront without bothering contacting the insurance to check the coverage. They then even keep silence when they get the insurance payment until we call to complain. Even having the insurance EOB, they still try to overcharged the procedure which my insurance is not allow them to charge patient. My insurance contacted with them back and forth by complain letter and phone calls but they are still refusing to refund the overcharge amount. The rude lady, Irina said that my insurance can not dictate them what to do and what to charge patient. I am wondering what is point of having insurance benefits. Please see all the reviews on google and avoid this office for your good sake

Unbelievable. They even charge for keeping their office clean. There is $10 copay for PPE. The front desk lady also wanted to charge me a consultation fee which is entirely covered by my insurance. My fee schedule shows $0 copay, I even called the insurance in front of her to confirm it's $0. When the insurance said I shouldn't be charged for it, she said they'll charge me for the x-rays. Which X-rays if I brought mine from my general dentist? She said they'll have to take some extra ones, even though they didn't even see the ones I brought. At that point, I told to myself RUN! They'll charge me as much as they can anyways anyways. My advice to you: AVOID THIS PLACE!

Not a patient but I called for some information at 8:30 in the morning. I was told the office wasn't opening until 11:30 because the doctor wasn't going to be in until the afternoon. The website list 4 or 5 front desk staff and nobody in the office doing admin or scheduling appointments because the doctor isn't there?

Terrible service and always tries to upsell! Told me if I didn't want her services she was trying to upsell me on, not to come any more. Doing me a favor on telling me that. Called Aetna and got my dentists changed asap.

I am changing dentist as well. The customer service there is not professional. You have to keep following up with these people when it comes to paper work because they don't get done in timely fashion. I am seeking to return back to my original dentist Dr. Anil Dwivedi in Tyson Corner. And they do to much upselling.

Just discovered (with a different dentist) that they didn't filled up the third root canal in my #30 before installing the crown. Result after 1 1/2 years, pain and a new dental crown procedure and maybe I will need to remove the tooth. They shouldn't practice dentistry!
