I honestly feel I am one of the lucky people who really enjoy what they do for a living. I love being an orthodontist. For the past 14 years, I have had the opportunity to serve and meet so many wonderful people. The friendships I have made with my patients and their families, and the changes that I have made in their smiles, will last a lifetime.

Aresident of East Amherst, I proudly call Buffalo my home. During mystudiesat the University of Buffalo, I met my wife Courtney. We have two wonderful children: a son Landen and a daughter Aurora. When I am not spending time with my family, I am an assistant coach for the Lou Gehrig Lasers travel girls softball league. I am also an avid golfer, and I enjoy traveling and cheering on the Buffalo Sabres.
I take great pleasure in getting to know our patients on a personal level and treating each one in a caring, professional manner. I feel our team works hard to give each patient the attention he or shedeserves in a comfortable, considerate, and welcoming environment. I was thrilled to join the well-respected practice of Dr. Andrew MacDonald and Dr. Edwin Tyska in 2007. In 2011, I became a partner in the practice.

On every visit the staff and doctors have been great. They have been very accommodating to any problems that arise and need for schedule changes. Has been a great experience!

I had my first consultation today with Mary, Heather, and Dr. Tyska. It was wonderful! The staff is extremely friendly, great at communicating everything, and they made me feel very relaxed! The office is bright, clean, and very welcoming. Having had braces over 20 years ago, it was amazing to see how much things have changed! I'm very excited to continue working with the people at this office!

I worked primarily with Dr. Alexander during my treatment. I absolutely loved my experience here. Both doctors were super patient and took the time to address how I felt about my progress. I loved the staff here, all of them were super sweet and ensured I was comfortable and all of my needs were met. I am extremely happy with my results and I get compliments on my smile all of the time. The staff worked around my demanding schedule and both offices are super clean and welcoming. I highly recommend Tyska Alexander Orthodontics to assist you with achieving the smile you desire, nothing about your experience here will be disappointing :)

Very kind and welcoming environment. Are quick and efficient when doing check ups and putting braces on. Love that they offer clear brackets so braces are barely noticeable. If you're looking for an orthodontist I would highly recommend here.

WE are so happy that we take our girls to this orthodontist office. We have been coming here for over a year and a half now and every single person we have come in contact with is so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Karen at the front desk Always greets us with a warm and welcoming smile!!!! My daughter recently had issues with one of her brackets and the staff went out of their way to help fix this problem so it didn't cause my daughter any extra pain. Thank you :))))

My children have been patients for many years. From the front desk staff smiles when you enter to their flexibility of scheduling, the ease of working with financial staff and the doctors and staff always explaining treatment and care along the way, Tyska and Alexander orthodontics has made the process of braces a fantastic experience.

The care is outstanding and friendly. They do a great job of explaining what is going on and how they are going to treat it. Definitely no pressure! I love that they don't rush to "fix" something right away and wait for the child to develop on their own first!
